The Belushis are finally reunited 🥲 RIP Judy Loved your interview with Judy the first time it was posted. I'm not as familiar with classic SNL as Jon and James are, of course, but it was such a joy nonetheless with all the little nuggets and stories. Absolute learning experience
I read Judy's death yesterday in Deadline Hollywood! So sad! We lost so many great people in SNL John- Glida, Tom Davis, and Anne Beatts. Judy and Anne wrote a book in the 1970's "Titters" something like that. I read her book "Samurai Widow" many years ago, it would help people grieve their loss!💔
Well, she was in her 70s. That’s not a bad life length at all… sure, a lot of ppl live to be 90 nowadays but considering many of them live years while physically and mentally deteriorating and have a very hard time caring for themselves or getting family to help and Judy had no family…. I’d say it’s a good age after a very good life especially considering her first husband passed away so long ago now…. Almost 40 years ago. It’s not like she passed away at 50 so as I said, she’s an elderly woman who lived an entire full life. She didn’t go too soon
I’m sorry too hear about Judy and RIP but I have to laugh at some of this comments saying “she was taken too soon” and sentiments to that effect as she was in her 70s, has lived 40 years after her 1st husband passed and lived what sounds like a fulfilling and long life. It reminds me of when Hugh Hefner passed and I seen similar comments of “he was taken too soon!rip” and “what a tragedy we lost an icon!” When he was in his NINETIES!!! lol like how could he have been taken “too soon” … how long did they want him to live lol. Anyway, I’m just kidding around to bring a bit of positivity to this bad news. Seeing Judy’s sense of humor over the last few decades in interviews since John passed and to bring up one of her sentiments that she said in an interview a few years after John had passed “life is for the living and everytime she misses John or wishes he was there for something, she tells herself that it’s just another thing she’ll get to tell him when she finally sees him again and she does believe she will get to see him again but until then, she just reminders the positives and the memories he left behind with her and she just remembers that she’ll eventually get to see him and hopefully it won’t be for a long time and she’ll have a lot to tell him.” So that’s the important thing to remember; Judy was a positive person and she’s hopefully been reunited with John, depending on what you believe, but even if you don’t, isn’t it nicer and more comforting to picture her reuniting with him? RIP JUDY!
I find it sad so sad that she grew old without him
It’s so wonderful that you got the interview when you did. RIP

John and Judy are finally reunited in Paradise
I remembered watching one sketch on SNL John was making demands in the opening monologue- one of them was a wedding present going to wrestling match
