Helpful video. I managed to get the big bushing bolt out by pulling the subframe down, so I didn't need to cut that. I was able to do that by doing a bit more disassembly than you did. The earlier Z3 model year's bolts came out from the bottom. Too bad BMW changed that. But I have been frustrated with trying to get the bushing out. I have done some drilling, but I can see now I need to do more and then hacksaw the metal bushing sleeve as you did. Thanks for the video.
Hi Yes everything still attached .you will find each side will drop more than enough to do the work just as I show on the clip I was very cautious at first doing the work but once I started take your time it was easy thanks for looking

That's good news saved the bolt as well I knew that was possible
Did You remove anything Prior or just dropped Subframe i plan to do this and once cut how did you extract?
Removed Nothing subframe dropped fine, make sure you find a good stiff blade that's the key
