Wow! I'm so happy to see this music being listened to and discussed in the 2020s! I got this album on cassette in 1991. I was 15 years old. Awesomeness!!😀🙏🖤
Probably one my favorite bands as a teenager got me through rough times. Especially after my parents divorce, bands like the crucified, tourniquet, deliverance. Got me through those rough times. God bless them.
Saw these guys in Albuquerque when this Album came out!! 1st album is good too!! Carvin Guitars ripped!!Drummer was insane!!! Moshpit had to be stopped because it was becoming to violent in the church the concert was in. Cristian metal was awesome back then!! Vengeance Rising!! Tourniquet!! Deliverance!! The Crucified!!
Great times indeed. I remember seeing Crucified live in Fresno for album release. They shredded. Got to meet band. Great guys. Hardcore at it's finest. Members ended up in a bunch of other bands over the years. Super Cool. 😍Memories. Thanks !!!
Great band, saw them live in 91 in Albuquerque NM, the pit was insane. The band that opened for them was a local band also very good "The Moshketeers" who also had an album called The downward spiral, check them out.
Yeah lol, that was a way longer instrumental intro than I was expecting. Oh btw, I'm sorry I didn't post that extra video for patreon video last week. I tried getting it filmed/edited yesterday, but after I recorded it I realized the mic hadn't been working the whole time. I'll try to get it finished today.
@@Metal777 Not a problem although I was surprised that there was no video up. I see you only have two patrons still. My personal advice would be post some content like the bloopers and another vid or two as well (discussion perhaps?) and then ADVERTISE in your intro or end of your reactions. Plus also list/link/and possibly describe videos etc. in the reaction videos descriptions. You have to actually Promote/Sell yourself and your additional patron Content .. again... You can easily watch different RUclipsrs who do good jobs promoting their endeavors/content/channels, brands, etc. I don't think they can be a one time announcement. And of course you actually have to have some content that ppl will find interesting. Perhaps you may need to watch another vid or two on ideas on promoting your patreon channel. Good luck.. PS.. I know I can request reactions but.... If I'm not mistaken you have switched to only Christian music reviews here? I'd say most of the cool interesting stuff I've found recently has been secular so if you no no longer are posting anything secular here I don't really have any new requests currently. If you are still doing secular songs then I'm sure I could come up with some good recommendations.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I did post a video this Monday, and I've got a few ideas for what I'm going to be posting this week. I'm hoping to do an album review for Theocracy's As The World Bleeds. I do need to get better at self promo for patreon btw. It's one of those things that I always feel super awkward doing, but I need to get over that. As far as requests go, I can react to secular stuff on the side channel (assuming it's not anti-Christian), but on this channel my hope is to react to primarily Christian music. I think songs with Christian-influenced lyrics or good messages are fine too though.
@@Metal777 ok, sorry I'm behind on replying as well lol. My coworker quit suddenly and now I'm working by myself until my boss can get someone else and it's been really busy... Sigh I've had to stay quite late. At least I'll definitely get some overtime for sure lol. So yeah ... Sunday is of course my only day off... So I know I need to react to you last reaction which I will today. As far as paetron I did see the video you posted and I agreed with you thoughts for it about trying new videos etc. I just happened to see it in my email, so I don't know about notifications etc but I just don't have time to look and figure anything out with it now.. Hopefully I should get a new coworker in one or two weeks then I'll mess with it but for now if I watch another video I'll probably just comment here on one of my comments in RUclips. My ex coworker didn't give any warning etc just stopped showing up with no calls or anything sigh.... Unfortunately it's quite busy as I said. Sorry I'm just now replying.
So cool to see you reacting to Christian metal videos. Youi are the only one on here doing that. I got into alot of the Christian metal/ indie/ punk bands in the late 80's when I was going through my "Jesus phase". Although, I am in a different mindset spiritually, I still like the music of those bands. That was a real exciting time to be into Christian music for sure with bands just emerging from the Christian underground like The Crucified, Scaterd-Few, Crashdog, Nobody Special, Lust Control, One Bad Pig, The Stand, Absence Of Ceramics, Over The Rhine, The Lead, Deliverance, Bloodgood, etc.
Other bands from my era to consider: Haven, ultimatum, 7th Angel, Narnia, Rage of Angel, Sacrament, Detritus0 newer Band but great Theocracy to name a few.
If you like Theocracy, check out any Rob Rock album "Rage of Creation" "Eyes Of Eternity," "Holy Hell" and any of the other bands he sang with impellitteri, Angelica, Warlord. Rob Rock was/is King of Christian Prog metal (not the same rob rock who produced gor motley crew And Metallica)
@@Metal777 shortly after The Crucified was no longer Mark did 1 rap album titled Native Son then formed an alternative group actually before Stavesacre became what it is. He'd even wrote a book; giving details of his life on the road traveling & doing venues/shows. He's an interesting dude.
Sick love it good review brother review this worship song the altar music song death defeated awesome song one of the writers is Mattie Montgomery from for today

Saw them rock a small tent at Cornerstone in 1989 and 1990. Legendary band.
They were able to mix punk, thrash, and metal to create an original sound all their own.
The first time I heard "Mindbender" from these guys I was blown away! Still in my top 5 songs.
Yeah, they're a great band!
One of my all time favorite albums......they were intense live
I imagine it would've been awesome to see them live!
@Metal777 oh by the way, I just subscribed.....I thought I already had before

I'm so jealous!!

This was thier first true thrash album and it was fantastic.
Oh Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the reaction.
No problem! Hope you enjoyed it!
Some good rifts. Lol it was so long before the singing started that I thougt it was an instrumental only song. 😂

The Crucified 1989 Album A amazing album as well With the song the Pit Amen
Mark dismantled The Crucified & created Stavesacre afterwards. Also check out Living Sacrifice & Demon Hunter.
I didn't know Stavesacre was formed by Mark, that's really interesting. Living Sacrifice and Demon Hunter are great btw!

Pretty much... bands like the Crucified inspired me to play Metal Guitar. Yah hoo😇
That makes sense tbh, this type of music makes me want to learn guitar

NewCreation here, you found another one I love. Great video! How about that bass???

Possiply the greatest christian crossover thrash band ever in fact just one of the best ever too bad they became weak sauce Stavesacre
Thrashy!
Yeah!
from very punk roots.......their demos are almost straight punk. and their 1st album was a good crossover.
