Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be reacting to No Time by Deliverance. What'd you think of my reaction? What'd you think of my review? What should I react to next?
Deliverance will be performing at the 2nd annual Immortal Christian rock festival in July . I'm so there!! Yes I bought this on cassette when it was released 😁
"Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Thanks again for sharing such a variety of music here dude, I'd never heard these guys.
You're kidding... Really? Oh that. That cannot stand. Start at the beginning. Most of us first heard Deliverance on the California Metal compilation with "Space Called You" and "Attack"
I enjoy when you do these older songs. Takes me back! How about the Crucified...."mindbender" or Few Left Standing "scourge"....all time favorite intro on this song
When this came out it took 20 minutes to load (push play on a cassette player and wait 20 minutes of it playing phone modem sounds before the game pacman on my computer (c64) was loaded and ready to play. 😐 The good old days... that's how long ago I Moshed in the Pit to these guys 😂
I hadn't heard it before recording it, at least that I know of. No one in my family listens to Christian metal so before this channel I hadn't heard Deliverance at all.
Great song! That first line you were talking about spoke to me as well. Yes, it's so easy to get into that mindset. Also, I'm thinking of those who are lost and don't have a relationship with Jesus. There will come a day when there is no time left, where they lose their opportunity to repent and accept Christ. We need to be out there sharing the gospel and telling people not to put off making the decision to accept Christ because tomorrow is never promised.
When I was in my late-teens / early-20s, I was into bands that featured crunchy, tight guitar riffs. Sadly, Christian music really lacked this feature. A lot of the heavier bands had thin-sounding guitars that weren't exactly technically great. When Tourniquet and Deliverance hit the scene, I was so thrilled. Both bands featured tight guitars and amazing musicality. When I heard this Deliverance album, I think it left me pretty breathless. Such a classic album!
Bride’s song ‘Psychedelic Super Jesus’ is a good one with KICK, and Deliverance’s song ‘Slay the Wicked’ cuts off a demon’s head in the beginning. Sunshine and rainbows-Happy Jesus time to all! God bless and Metal on!
Loved their show with Horde opening along with The Crucified. Never liked hordes album but live it sounded like show no mercy. That was many years ago. No Time left as I wasted mine...🐽
Should do Broken Chromosomes by Tourniquet. He's got amazingly weird vocals throughout the song. A good Bride one not a lot of people may know about is Hip Hop Body Slam Hard Rock Holy Spirit Jam (long title). It was a collab with the rap group DOC and another version of God Gave Rock and Roll to You.
First disc is still my favorite, I like a lot of their stuff but this album is pure killer beginning to end!!
One of my all time favorites 🤘
Awesome!

That Bride song is fantastic! I haven't heard Slay The Wicked though, I'll have to listen to it though!

Earlier D was definitely their best stuff. Back then with Believer, VR, LS, man was it a good scene.

I have not heard that Bride song lol, with a name like that I'll definitely have to check it out!
@@Metal777 it's technically released by DOC; I found it in some of my dad's files.
I love this song. This is one of my favorites from their first album. Did i recommend this one? (I don't remember)
I actually don't remember if you recommended it lol, but regardless it is a great song!
Check out the weapons of our warfare album by them great message and musical content
Bride's Scarecrow Messiah is every bit as good as Snakes
I haven't heard the full Scarecrow Messiah album, but from the songs I've heard that's absolutely true
Please react to more stuff from Deliverance
NO DIE..
