Another great band, they put out a new album a couple year back "Waiting in Darkness" with a different singer. Original singer Rey Perra did an album with another band also a couple years back called "world view" good album..
I love this band. This is my fav song of all. And what I love is that the singer Rey Parra believes every word he’s singing. It’s all heart. Love God first, love your neighbour as yourself next. This is the Law of Christ. Such awesome lyrics in this song that reflect this law.
For another band that was along the same genre and very good look for "Jacobs Dream" original band from Columbus Ohio was signed to metal blade records and hit big in Europe
I remember this! Great album and excellent song! I agree, The lead singer has a great voice. I also really like the music and it has good lyrics as well. Great reaction! 👍
Great band. I have seen them in concert a couple times. On that same album you should ckeck out the song called "the Flood, which features the singer of Vengeance.
I all about promised you'd like this band, especially the first two albums. Although later albums like _Obsessions_ got much more love from critics, the first two are foundational to CCM Rock/Metal. Tony Valesquez drumming was one of the impetus to get me interested in drumming. Never quite followed through on it, but, there was a couple years where I tried to learn every single track drum-wise.
@@dpwellman Can't really go wrong. But a few of my favorite Tourniquet tunes are Phantom Limb, Somnambulism, Tears of Korah, The Tomb of Gilgamesh, and The Hand Trembler. All kickass and all amazing.
Sacred warrior is great this is not slam at all but a freind of mine went 2 cornerstone were they played the 1st album was so similar that half way thru the song the drummer forgot what song it was lol. Great band probably easily as good as stryper but no backing to Excell them into stardom.
@@Metal777 yeah I'm just saying he sounds just like the lead singer of barren cross you never know could be the same singer if you don't look into it I'm going to look
I saw this band live when I was 16 and they were awesome. I got to meet the entire band. The bass player gave me a big hug.
I highly recommend "Mad Man" by these guys.
A great jam with a great message
Cool, I'll check it out!
I really dig this band, one of my favorites.
Miss Linda from their wicked generation album should take a listen to.
Saw them several times live!! Excellent band!!
Yes!

One of my favorites you've reviewed!

I've heard of them before, Chaz Bond was their vocalist for a little bit I think

That's cool! I absolutely agree with you! Thanks!
Really enjoy this review god bless brother
Thanks dude! I really appreciate you watching!
I'm friends with Rey and Tony the drummer
Bruce Swift is the guitarist. I'm good friends with him on Facebook. I'm an older guy. Been a fan of theirs since the 80s. Awesome album 👍👍
That’s really cool!
He's a fantastic guitarist!
That's epic!
The voice is the best singer ever
Sacred Warrior is awesome!
Indeed!

Definitely! I'll check out that song too btw, I'm curious what that feature will sound like lol.

Yeah, this is an awesome song! I'll have to listen to those first two albums! It's cool that their drummer got you into learning the instrument!
Sacred Warrior's 'Wicked Generation' was a really fine album, worth checking out. But what this channel really needs is more Tourniquet!
Indeed. Although which era? Hmm . . . .

Absolutely! Hopefully I can get a reaction out for them soon!
@@Metal777 "Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance" or "You Get What You Pray For" are my picks for "first time" tracks
You Get What You Pray For is a killer!
Great old school Christian band. Not my favorite album by them though. I leaned more to Wicked Generation and Obsessions.
Awesome, I’ll see if I can check those albums out!
I've gotten to love the first one a whole bunch too thru more play ("Rebellion")

Rey is the best
He sounds like Geoff Tate of Queens Reich
i think he is da same singer in BarrenCross ,,, not sure
Huh, I didn't know that, that's interesting
@@Metal777 yeah I'm just saying he sounds just like the lead singer of barren cross you never know could be the same singer if you don't look into it I'm going to look
Dang barren cross & sacred warrior sound just alike to me the singers do its different singers different singers I checked
Rey Parra is the singer for Sacred Warrior. Mike Lee (Drive) is the lead singer of Barren Cross.
@@slamdancer1720 i thought i said something ,,, i already found that out
Rey Parra is the Christian version of Geoff Tate. This band is so much better than stryper.
