Her eyes disappeared with any of the darker colors even with Autumn. The bright colors of Spring and Winter looked ok, but were a little too much for her. The warm spring colors would be good as pops of color against the light colors in her sub season. She looked amazing in the light periwinkle, peach, and light aqua. I am also a Spring. I think I might be a true Spring or Bright Spring in your system because the lighter colors in my pallet are what I use for accessories and makeup. I love wearing peach and lavender eyeshadow.

@coloredpencils01 I never see Spring shades in stores. The corals and peaches are always dusty or muted shades for soft Autumns and some Summers, Look too dirty on me, never clear or vibrant enough for True, bright or warm Springs. Light Springs can borrow some light Summer shades
@@tomjones2157 true, dusty colors have been extremely popular for the last five to ten years. Sometimes they're even too dull for me as a soft summer, which is ridiculous! Autumn's olive green is still everywhere, although I'm starting to see some cooler versions. Peach and coral really don't work for any summers though, no matter how dusty; they're shades of orange which is the warmest color. You're right that they're perfect for light spring and soft autumn!
I personally have a hard time finding a medium warm color. Being warm spring,I lean towards autumn so I need a little bit more muted but still bright if that even makes sense. Most things I buy in my color in store are too muted. 😢
I loved seeing Shannon in the peach drape! She really looks amazing in the Spring Light palette. As a summer cool, peach is my nemesis 😅 it really makes me look ill. Saluti da NYC 💖
It is so nice seeing someone with similar colouring to me :) It’s funny, when she mentioned she loves light purple/ lilac and that aqua colour is another one of her favourites - I had to laugh. Great video! I am another happy customer from the U.S. who just got my online analysis done. I cannot recommend these ladies enough. They are so professional and thorough in their analysis and have given me more confidence in what colors to choose and how to shop smarter.
Endlessly fascinating Giulia, even though I was 'Colour Me Beautiful'ed' (UK) earlier this year. You explain everything so succinctly and thoroughly that anyone can understand the process and really 'see' the colours that suit the client. Shannon looked lovely in the palette you selected.
I love your channel, really enjoying it. I am pretty sure that I am a summer, but not sure which sub type. Have you done any video on the different summer types? Thx and keep up the great work you two are doing 💕
I always love your videos and this one did not disappoint! I was interested in your comment that she is warm but her lips lean cool. I’ve heard others say that if you’re warm, your lips would be warm. I was confused as I was analyzed as a True Autumn but my lips are cool. I always trust what you say, so thank you! A fan from Canada. 🇨🇦
Guilia did say that the skin is the most important for color analysis as the eye, hair and lip color does not indicate correct undertone. I suppose it's like the vein color doesn't always give you the right reading.
In the black and white thumbnail, she somehow already looked like a spring to me. 😯 She looks absolutely beautiful and randiant in her colors, well done for coming to Australia, wow, what a dream come true! 😀 love your channel.
I never would have guessed that the light periwinkle would belong to spring pallet if I just saw the colour. I would totally choose that as a soft summer as well even though it’s lighter. 😂 but maybe if I wore it would look a bit intense. On the screen to my eye it seems quite soft. This is why comparing two colours is sooo important.
Well there’s two reasons, one it’s actually a cool color so it can belong in the summer palette, and two it’s so light that it starts to look soft because of so much white added to it. The only reason it’s placed in the spring palette is because every palette needs a wide range of hues or colors to work with (which is why you see blues and purples in the spring and autumn palettes, in smaller amounts) BUT they’re on the warmer side, they have some yellow added to them to make them warmer. That still doesn’t mean they’re warm cause purple and blue can never be warm colors, but they can lean more towards the warm side of the color wheel therefore making them more suitable for warm seasons. But this is why they aren’t the majority of warm palettes, cause they’re cool. This is just saying “if you were to wear blue or purple, wear these specific ones that suit your palette better.” That’s why these blues in the warm palettes usually lean turquoise (closer to green, closer to yellow) and the purples lean pink (closer to red, closer to orange). Same thing happens with the cool palettes where you see them have a few yellows thrown in there, but they always lean green and desaturated cause a bright golden yellow is way too warm to be in any cool palette. Again not saying a soft greenish yellow is a cool color cause it’s not, it’s just starting to go towards cool colors (to green then to blue), if that makes sense. Point is, palettes should give you a good amount of colors to work with, and so they can include a few colors that aren’t ideal but good enough. There will always be colors that are more “perfect” for you in that palette, and colors that are less so, but are just there as alternative options to your worst colors. Oh also, a summer purple may have more gray in it than white, as this light periwinkle has lots of white added to it (which makes it more clear than adding gray to it). So that’s the other reason it’s included in the light spring palette. This color most ideally fits the light summer palette, but can leak into the spring palette as a cooler option for that person. In Shannon’s case, she doesn’t lean overly warm (her main feature is lightness) so a light purple looks fine on her, though a light peachy pink would be perfect. That was really long winded but I hope that explains what you’re feeling, which is definitely valid. Color theory and the color seasons are not a simple black and white topic unfortunately haha. That’s why you get lots of different interpretations with these things that a lot of times are wrong or partially correct. But this channel does a good job at explaining how this all works, they just don’t go into overt detail (like with why there are cool colors in the warm palettes and vice versa) cause their job is color analysis, not teaching seminars on color theory lol.
So beautiful without makeup or her hair all “fluffed” up! I’m looking forward to an on line analysis. At 64 with white hair and now dull, dry skin I swear my colors have changed?
Hi. Based on other analysts that I've seen, as you go grey you may become a bit cooler or less intense. (example warm spring to light spring or warm autumn to soft autumn).
I think Shannon is indeed spring light. However I really liked the spring warm on her. I think it made her look very festive without taking away her inherent shine.
At the beginning of the undertone face I thought she was cool, but when you started explaining about the flowing colors and the cutting line, I started to see the magic🧡💛💚 Also, when you put the silver and gold drapes, I noticed one more thing - her eyebrows are golden, so for me this is another reason why gold works better than silver. 💛 At the intensity face, when you put on her the two drapes - the olive and the bright green, It was not that evident for me, but when I saw only the bright green drape on her, I told myself - this is it! 💚 And this color really suits Shannon! Till now I was thinking only a person with really dark eyes, hair and pale skin can handle this color - a person with really high contrasting features. But when I saw it on Shanon - wow! Also at the beginning I was preferimg Spring Bright over Spring Light on her, but when I saw the test with the borderline seasons - it was undeniable. So the point here is - everything at the end of the analysis make sense! Love your channel! 💜 Greetings from Bulgaria :)
Video idea: It'd be incredible if you could talk about choosing a hair color that suits you! (i think) i am spring (not sure what subgroup) after a long time of thinking i was autumn, and I've been wanting to do something to my hair, probably like a balayage, but idk which blonde i should go for 😢
It is interesting to see how you work through the color analysis. From watching , I see each client goes differently as far as broad group down to more fine details of subgroup. This one starting with the light shades/cool pink and warm peach color , which in comparison with other analysis , this was less glaringly obvious. ANY DARK subgroup was absolutely eliminated . Hence the title Spring ? Summer?? then the fine tuning and comparing those :)
Watching from Canada ! I was waiting to see a color analysis of someone with similar colors as me. Light spring makes total sense and it’s nice to know she wears well a few cooler colors as well even though it’s not her main colors.
Aahhh so interesting and nice to see! I would've guessed she's a light spring :) we share some features but she's clearly warmer than me, and I self-diagnosed as a light summer :) I know that not aaaall features need are always in line with everybody's season, but I was wondering whether they can hint at the sister seasons. Cause on the one hand, my skin clearly looks better in cool colours compared to warm. And in the other hand, my hair was gold blonde as a teenager, and as it got darker the roots look more ashy (cool) while the lengths (which were always way lighter) now are more of a gold/honey/strawberry blonde. I feel like those mixed undertone-features are more common for people with a sister season of the other undertone, or do you think it's more a coincidence?
This is a trip to me because she looks SO much like my mom when she was younger! It’s like her old photos came to life watching this video. Shannon also looks like Jessica Chastain, who I’ve been told I look like so many times. My mom however doesn’t really resemble Jessica. And I swear I’m a cool summer or winter… I’m so confused I just might pay for a color analysis myself 😂🩵

These are the best videos in their category. The ladies ( Alessandra and Giulia) are excellent professionals. And as a Hungarian, i especially love their accent, that they speak english clearly. Unfortunately you are very far away, but i would love to come for a consultation.☺
If she looks best in her entire season, why isn’t she a true spring? This is the part that confuses me? Is it always necessary to do a sub season analysis?
Very interesting analysis that Shannon's dominant feature wax her lightness even though she looked to have brown/ hazel eyes. Notwithstanding Shannon's warm undertone, I thought the autumn colours dragged her down and were noticeably less flattering than the cooler summer light colours. Just wondering whether freckles on the skin like Shannon's, are a signifier of a Spring palette?
Great video. The moment I saw her I knew she was a Spring but had no idea which. I think it would have been a bit easier to tell which Spring she belonged to if she had not worn mascara and lipstick. But you did a really great job. I love how much you guys explain every detail!
That's my natural baseline lip color, just had on some clear, old fashioned Vaseline (petroleum jelly, if it's called something different in AUS) for moisture! And I agree, these ladies are the best!
@@Shannon-vr4nlhey that's cool that you're replying ^^ may I ask if this is also your natural hair color, or if not, what is? The light warm colors definitely look great with your skin!
Did anyone else think the cool gray in the beginning looked good on her? To me, it made her skin brighter. Has anyone ever disagreed with their results? Edit: alright I think I see that that gray wasn’t the best for her.
I saw that too and I think it’s cause she’s neutral-warm (not extremely warm) so the purpley gray isnt too bad, and the yellow is a little warm for her. The yellow still brings out her warmth so it’s better but the gray is a little more delicate which works kinda with her light spring palette (while the yellow leans autumn). Still prefer the yellow but the gray works in some sense as well.
As always, very logical and clear. Where can ladies find clothes in light spring/summer colors for muddy autumns and colder winter temperatures? There are a ton of light-colored, bright clothing options available in the summer, but as the weather turns colder, all I find in the stores are dark-colored, dusty, or soft options that make fair spring complexion appear lifeless.
Before it starts, I’m going to say light spring. She’s mostly warm but can get away with some cool toned colors as long as they are the medium (not too dark or not too light).

It is so nice seeing someone with similar colouring to me :)
It’s funny, when she mentioned she loves light purple/ lilac and that aqua colour is another one of her favourites - I had to laugh.
My two favourite tshirts are lilac and aqua and I love yellows too.
I also thought I was a cool season for a while bcos I’m some fair- but spring colours really work best
Thank you for another great video :)
She looks very warm to me I would say spring! Now I’ll watch the video…oh boy
I’m getting good at this😊
Upstate, NY, USA loves you tooooo!
Spring was definitely her season and light her best sub season. Great analysis!
Gorgeous! Thank you Shannon. 💗💗💗 Spring Light is absolutely stunning on you. 🥰🥰🥰
Even the white cap suits her timeless beauty! Admire and adore your work! XX LL
Great video as usually, love from Sweden 🙏🇸🇪
Great video! I am another happy customer from the U.S. who just got my online analysis done. I cannot recommend these ladies enough. They are so professional and thorough in their analysis and have given me more confidence in what colors to choose and how to shop smarter.
Yay I might finally get better because right in the beginning I thought she looks gorgeously warm :)
Great to see another analysis of a Spring 🌼
I love watching this color analysis videos!
Yay!! I missed you guys SO much!!
i just love these videos
Endlessly fascinating Giulia, even though I was 'Colour Me Beautiful'ed' (UK) earlier this year. You explain everything so succinctly and thoroughly that anyone can understand the process and really 'see' the colours that suit the client. Shannon looked lovely in the palette you selected.
Thank you for showing this Spring palette! Shannon is gorgeous !
A Spring light🎉😊
Hello from Wisconsin, USA! It makes my day to see one of your videos posted. Thanks for coming on camera Shannon - You did a great job too!
Enjoyed it so much. What a beautiful client. Her colour palate looked wonderful on her.
Yes, her colors look great! Well done ❤
Shannon is very pretty! Her colors are beautiful on her!
I'm from the USA too!
Light spring colours look gorgeous on her, omg 🤯
She truly shines in them! 11:41
In the black and white thumbnail, she somehow already looked like a spring to me. 😯
She looks absolutely beautiful and randiant in her colors, well done for coming to Australia, wow, what a dream come true!
Loved this one! So fun to see different colour types😊 and you do an amazing job explaining it Giulia🥰
Another great video! Such positive energy AND beauty! Keep the videos coming!
Great to see a Spring Light. That is my season.
This was very insightful since I'm a Light Spring too. But I feel like it is almost impossible to find nice clothes in those colours.
Lovely palettes and a very interesting analysis!
What an interesting case!
It’s fun to see you analyze someone with my palette 🎉❤
Her skin tone is at hue angle 13. She's very cool. You mentioned her hair is colored. She'll look better with ash blond hair.
incorrect. Sorry. Watch all of the videos and all of the instagram posts on this channel. All of them.
Such beautiful colours on her! 😍
Thank you from Canada!
This is the one I've been waiting for! She has colors similar to mine. Thank you!
I’m from the US and I love watching your channel, please don’t stop uploading videos
Video idea: It'd be incredible if you could talk about choosing a hair color that suits you! (i think) i am spring (not sure what subgroup) after a long time of thinking i was autumn, and I've been wanting to do something to my hair, probably like a balayage, but idk which blonde i should go for 😢
we have a video about hair colour on our channel 🥰 please feel free to have a look!
Watching from South Dakota, USA -- love your system of analysis!
Aahhh so interesting and nice to see! I would've guessed she's a light spring :) we share some features but she's clearly warmer than me, and I self-diagnosed as a light summer :)
I know that not aaaall features need are always in line with everybody's season, but I was wondering whether they can hint at the sister seasons.
I have been watching/subscribed to your videos since you launched your RUclips Chanel, and I was SO EXCITED to see that CAS reopened online appointments for 2024! I've paid for your services and cannot wait to get my information submitted for your professional analysis!
Thank you so much 💕 looking forward to analysing your features ☺️
Really enjoyed this video! That woman is gorgeous!
These are the best videos in their category. The ladies ( Alessandra and Giulia) are excellent professionals. And as a Hungarian, i especially love their accent, that they speak english clearly. Unfortunately you are very far away, but i would love to come for a consultation.☺
I’m watching from 🇬🇧 ❤
If she looks best in her entire season, why isn’t she a true spring? This is the part that confuses me?
Is it always necessary to do a sub season analysis?
Very interesting analysis that Shannon's dominant feature wax her lightness even though she looked to have brown/ hazel eyes. Notwithstanding Shannon's warm undertone, I thought the autumn colours dragged her down and were noticeably less flattering than the cooler summer light colours. Just wondering whether freckles on the skin like Shannon's, are a signifier of a Spring palette?
They are somewhere in the green-hazel range, I think you can see it better at the end without the drapes.
I was also surprised at her eyes, hadn't expected that in a light season!
@@Shannon-vr4nl Makes perfect sense. And Giulia did an amazing job. Absolutely. I love all of their videos.
Kettlewell Colours break down their clothing by season and sub-season.
Before it starts, I’m going to say light spring. She’s mostly warm but can get away with some cool toned colors as long as they are the medium (not too dark or not too light).
She looks like a disney princess ! Stunningggggg❤
That first tomato red screams SPRING
It screams bright spring
