LEAD IS TOXIC! Friends, we should have stated clearly in the video that lead is TOXIC, so you shouldn't wear it and your jewellery must NOT contain any real lead! What we mean is that the COLOR of lead is very good on Winters and Winter Deeps! Thank you so much to everyone who made us notice this. We will state this very clearly in a video dedicated to metals. Much love from Alessandra and Giulia 🖤
Grazie per il chiarimento , in effetti non credo , spero, ci siano metalli con il materiale piombo ma credo neanche gioielli con questo bagno di colore 🤔. Grazie 😘
I can’t wait for this video!! Hopefully jewellery with lead doesn’t actually exist but I couldn’t get the thought out of my mind. Thank you for clarifying 💕
This comment made me laugh 😂 I hope no one thought you meant jewelry made of lead! It's just like when you say gold and silver jewelry, you're talking about the colors, not the elements. A lot of cheap gold-colored jewelry is brass, and a lot of silver jewelry is made of white gold. My wedding ring is made of pure gold but it is a champagne gold color, which is lovely on me as a summer season. A yellow gold would suit an autumn and look gross on me.
Perfect example of a very cool-toned person who would be mistaken for an autumn in many online shortcut articles (myths!) due to her dark brown hair/eyes and yellow overtone. You gave a great explanation showing how the undertone is what matters. The brown gives her skin a muddy, dirty look with extra lines around her mouth and more variation/blotchiness in her skin color. When you swapped to the navy - voilá - you could see Paula! Her skin brightened and became smoother and suddenly you saw the color in her cheeks and a lift in her face. What a disservice the wrong colors can do to a person. You guys are great!
I get dark winter when I’ve tried those free colour analysis apps. I’m very confident I’m Winter (however you never know/I still would very much like an in person analysis).,,, but I’m definitely not a dark Winter. I can wear some of the bright colours but the forest greens and burgundies etc are a no. They’re 1000% better than some of the Autumn colours, but too dark. Bright works best…
@@rainbows_trees_clouds_dais1766I used to have this hesitation as well, specifically because of those colors. What I’ve figured out is that it’s the brown influence of autumn that I find so toxic (and brown influence is what makes autumn autumn). I had to make a mental distinction between maroon vs burgundy and pine vs forest where maroon and forest have the brown influence and are a complete no-go for me whereas pine and burgundy do not have the brown in them and are some of my best colors.
@@helahreljac1523 It was a real breakthrough for me to figure out that specific detail. I’m analyzed as cool-leaning-dark but I don’t think that’s quite right and it was mostly frustrating to try to navigate outside of my Top 10 colors. I’ve found I can handle certain warm colors from Spring (yellow being a good example- light Spring yellows are actually my best yellows… with the understanding that no yellow is ever going to be better than a solid B for me, but that’s still a lot better than the D- that is the icy lemon Winter is supposed to stick to). Really there’s a level of vividness I need in colors. That vividness can get lost when colors are too light, too muted or too dark (though I tolerate decidedly cool colors well into a very dark range). Cool colors that lean a little deeper are my best. I can introduce slightly light warm colors as long as I keep them bright (such coral-pinks, which can be A colors, and some yellow-greens which are best worn under a black or navy jacket/cardi), and in mid-dark cool colors I can tolerate some gray (such as in the plummy/jammy/berry and blue spaces- these might even dominate my Top 11-20 slots) but dusty light summer colors are almost as bad as brown influenced ones (with the possible exception of some light dusty blue-violets). So while all my best colors are definitely winter, I can pull big chunks of colors from spring or summer that are better on me than the icy lights or mid-grays. I just have to be sure that as colors get lighter it’s strictly with white- no gray and certainly no brown.
Anyone else fantasizes of going to Alessandra and Giulia and appearing one season but then shockingly being "diagnosed" as a completely different one? No? Just me? 😅
I did an online color analysis with them and it was the best investment I have ever made. I thought I was a cool/soft summer because blues were flattering on me but I found out I was a warm spring and I was so shocked! Now I feel so much more confident and see how golden I look with the right colors. If anyone is questioning if they should or not- it's definitely worth it!! Also Paula is so sweet and looks stunning in those deep colors. Amazing work you two do🩵
Many Springs thing before analysis that they are soft summers/autumns , is because many believe blue eyes are only in these seasons and skipp Spring Season! I am glad you enjoy your palette ☺️! I did the online analysis with Alessandra and Giulia few months back and i already build up my wardrobe and i feel amazing in my True Autumn palette , i look healthy and rejuvenated! It makes shopping experience so much easy but of course i still have some "wrong" colours in my wardrobe this doesn't mean i am throwing away everything 😊
I can’t wait to see them too. I don’t like gold or silver on me. Gold is too yellow and silver is too bright. My over tones are warm, but I think my undertones are cool, so similar to this woman. I wonder if I am a deep winter also. Gold blends into my skin, which isn’t necessary bad, that can help a gemstone to become the focus. I kind of like uncoated white gold or tarnished silver, they are a softer finish. I wonder if lead is sort of similar to tarnished sliver, but tarnished silver can look either brown or black.
She’s so naturally beautiful. I thought she was going to be a true winter cause all of the sub seasons looked great on her, even with Julia giving hints that she was probably a deep. However the deep autumn also looked great on her, which wouldn’t be the case if she were a true winter. Loved this analysis.
I did an online analysis with them and I'm so happy I did! In the past whenever I did my makeup and hair, and then put on my black jumper, I would suddenly look worse - but I couldn't pinpoint exactly why this happened. I'd look grey and cold, and my makeup suddenly looked worse as well (I would just assume it oxidized/looked greasy, or that the lighting was bad). Now I know why: black is my WORST colour because I'm a light spring. I've had so much fun picking out new warm neutrals and trying out different colours. I also barely wear makeup anymore because I look so healthy, and beautiful! These ladies know their stuff 🥰 Many thanks from a very happy, glowing and golden light spring 💛✨
I'm half asian/caucasian and have a very yellow overtone when photographed next to caucasian friends. Also brown eyes and dark hair (similar to Giulia) with very subtle natural red highlights. For years I thought I must be autumn. But thanks to this channel I'm realising I'm most probably cool toned, probably winter. I definitely look better in pure whites and blacks than cream or beige colours. I like red but recently stopped wearing a red top I own because it was really bothering me how it leaned warm. I could really notice the yellow tint it brought out in my face. I don't mind having a yellow overtone, but I definitely look better in cool colours.
Me again. An observation: I find it very revealing when you sometimes hold the colors behind your client to frame them. I was wanting to see Paola with the black and navy held behind her.
I have a relative with this colouring who gets mistaken for an autumn. Then I started to notice she looked best in navy, deep pinks and black and awful in anything warm toned. She has never had her colours done, but maybe she is some sort of Winter? It can be too easy to see the warm overtones and a lot of analysts even get it wrong - but not the superb Colour Analyst Studio! I am saving up my Ebay selling money for an online analysis with them at present.
Another winter deep sister! ❄️🖤 She did look like an autumn superficially. I had this same confusion about myself until my online analysis with Alessandra. Only then could I see my undertone was actually cool.
You can tell she's visual person too, she knew intuitivelly what colors work best on her. Very beautiful winter ❤ and I looved the metallics, can't wait to see them for the other seasons!
3:28 I love that her main characteristic was kind of foreshadowed in the undertone phase, when the two dark colors made the smallest difference compared to the midtone reds and light pinks
This one resonates with me! Watching how her face turned "yellow" or disappeared with the salmon color was helpful. Watching the color of her face drained and became grayed with the incorrect intensity was very visible! My face does the same thing! I also identify with the depth and intensity of colors when I wear winter deep colors (especially black and cobalt blue). She was a great choice for model with her olive/golden surface tones and blue undertone! I really like how you are going deeper into the metallic tones, and can't wait to see more metallic tones for other seasons.
I love these videos so much, and I have learned so much. You have a very special gift of explaining the concept and the analysis very well. And although I've seen dozens of them now, I'm still intrigued every single time to find out exactly why which palette works for the gorgeous models (and thanks to every one of them as well for demonstrating how color individually affects us). I must also say that the lovely Italian accent adds so much charm to the whole process. I am a Winter Cool myself, and whenever I go shopping and am determining which color is the right one, I am hearing in my ear "wiinterrr cool" and it puts a smile on my face! Thank you so much 💙
The gold was the biggest difference I have ever seen in your videos. I also have a bit of an olive overtone and so figuring out my undertone myself was confusing. But how she looks in yellows is how I look in yellows and I can really see that in this video. I'm glad I finally did a virtual analysis with you guys (Summer Cool 😊). Had a feeling she would be a Winter Deep in this video!
Awesome video! Fellow Winter Deep here who was analyzed through your online service. This video helped me see what you probably saw with my analysis. I always thought I was an autumn deep because I wear darker colors such as the darker greens and browns but also love how I look in black and white. This was a very helpful visual! I appreciate your content so much!
I totally get that she was so stoked - those are genuinely gorgeous colors, these sort of deep jewel tones. And black! (Lucky girl.) Now the deep autumn though, those are really nice too. And they give me hope! As I suspect that I am an autumn - but I don't want to bloody wear brown (yuck), orange, mustard, what you think of as autumn colors. But those deep autumn colors are not that!! Veeery interesting.
Thank you for showing a video of colour analysis on someone with covered hair, covered clothes and no makeup. So many videos claim to do a “colour analysis” on people or photos with uncovered hair and lots of makeup which is pointless. It’s so incredible to clearly see the difference between the undertones. I also love that you use the frames at the end which makes it so much more obvious. And a clear discussion of intensity which is the most informative I’ve ever heard.
Very enjoyable and interesting analysis, particularly with the different metals recommended for the winter pallette. You could see clearly the black tone in the lead and blue tone in the steel colour. Would love to see more on the metallic recommendations for the other seasons. X
Paola! I love how clear cut this was and how stunning these colors are on you. I definitely could not choose between the blue or black for you! Maybe blue for daytime and black for nighttime events?! I mean you can easily pull of both. 🥰🥰🥰 Definitely a fun and educational color analysis. Thank you Paola! 💗💗💗
I love your analysis method, the system and steps are so logical, you are absolutely professional! (I saw other channels and many cases it seems they choose color "randomly" and was hard to understand and see the differences). I have yellowish skin overtone, and I am a Deep Winter too, so this video confirms that my personal analysis was correct. You are amazing!
I loved how you did the final cross check with the other bright, deep, and cool pallets. That was very helpful in seeing which one of the three actually had a better match to her own pallet.
I just found myself smiling during the whole video!! 🤭 You two have such a lovely energy togheter, such a fun and interesting video to watch 🥰 Can't wait for the day I get my analyses done by you guys 🤩
How interesting to see the different shades of cool silver. I never would have guessed that there was so much difference between the tones, but it's very visible! Also, soon helpful to see what someone who is apparently warm and medium intensity because of features, actually has underneath such a striking winter deep palette. It was very helpful for me because I am an autumn, and was identifying with the warmer tones for her initially but it becomes very clear that the yellow becomes sickly for her, whereas the cool colours bring out a zing in her overall look! So fascinating! These videos are so very helpful, thank you!
She looks so beautiful in her winter colors!! I have to say her eyes looked beautiful when framed by some of the softer greens in the summer frame. I'd love to see her wear some sage eyeshadow or something!
I can't believe this is the last video I haven't watched. Your channel has been so instructive, helpful, and pleasant that I think I'll have a crisis by not having three new videos to watch every week! Thank you for sharing all these analyses and your knowledge with us! I can't wait for new content!
This was such a great video, the metal frames are so cool!!! Please nobody actually wear lead though 🙈 Paola’s eyes are so expressive, her face really communicates how it feels when you’re in your best colours!
I've been watching so many of your videos that when you removed the cloth and I said at the same time (with that beautiful Italian accent) "ah noh, the cobahlt is SO much better than the cyan" 😂🤭 amazing video as always!
Loved this so much, especially seeing the new metal frames! I treasure these analysis videos and have missed them…they are a real treat! My favourite RUclips channel! 😊
This was the most helpful test to watch. I definitely think I'm a deep winter that at first glance looks like autumn because of the same reasons as Paula
She needs clearly only cool colours! When you swapped warm and cool colours is was like you took a filter from her face! I believe she has a lot of contrast,i would guess she is in the Winter Season!
I definitely guessed Autumn Deep when I first saw her. I guess I wasn't too far away, but the brown eyes and olive skin definitely threw me off for the undertone.
Very well explained. I have a light olive skin tone with brown eyes and light brown hair. I look awful in yellowish based colors. It's the same if you match foundation...I can make a neutral undertone work, but the warm tones look too yellow/orange and the cool tones too pink. It's a struggle with this type of undertone.
I suit the same colours as Paula and I think I am winter deep. I have light pinkish/neutral skin with freckles, green eyes with amber bits and my hair is now grey. (My hair was very dark - the colour of peat I was told). My colours were done years ago as a winter. It’s amazing Paula and I suit the same colours, but I completely agree with you. Very well explained. Thank you, Helen
I really couldn't see much of a difference between the warm and cool, but I definitely could between light and deep colors. This was a fun one to watch.
I have watched many videos which usually puzzle me more but the way you explain it, I have to say I could follow and decide correctly for the first time. So thank you and well done!
I've just finished watching all of your videos. I love them all, thank you for your content. Are you able to make some more videos showing virtual appointments? I live in Chicago in the U.S. and should be able to find a color analyst in or around this city but my search results aren't that great. I feel like I'd trust you girls virtually more than the few people that showed up in my searches.
The only thing that stops me to take the online analysis is that I want to see the effect of the drapes on my skin and record the nuances in my eyes. So I'm still looking forward for you to come to Sydney ❤
Aha! Now I see why comparing the sister seasons is so important. I was thinking she may be a true winter, until the comparisons were done, then all was made clear 😊
Thank you for this! I have light eyes and look very celtic, 3 celtic grandparents, with freckles and dark red hair but my skin is olive due to my Eastern European grandfather so I've never been able to figure out my best colors. My overtone has a yellowish cast but my undertone is very cool. I wonder how common this is...
Love all your videos. I’ve been analyzed by you virtually as well. Quick question: are you still using your multi-colour drapes to help determine the level of intensity (ex. Summer vs Winter). If no, would love to know why.
Amazing! With online color analysis, how is the overtone not mistaken with the undertone? I love your videos and would love to book an online session at some point!
i also have an olive skin colour and struggle a little to pinpoint my season. i would love an analysis with you guys but my phone is never able to take a photo of my skin, it always turns more grey or green, its so weird. i would love to come to australia and do it in person one day :)
Hi guys, I’m officially stumped. I have been trying to find my season for yeaaaaars and I cannot. I don’t think I look bad in really any color, I think I’m fairly neutral but I’m ready for a professional opinion. I’m wondering how long out your online analysis timing is. I looked on your website a bit and didn’t find time range. Thanks so much 🙏
Hi Elise, thanks for watching and commenting. The official turnaround time is 20 business days from when we receive good photos. In reality we're usually faster than that.
I’m cool with a yellow overtone, but my depth is not as deep as Paula’s. I’ve been wondering about the color pink. The pinks you showed in the beginning (to determine warm vs. cool) that worked with Paula didn’t look very blue based on my monitor. My best pinks look like those pinks, but to me they look peachy pink, which are my best pinks. Also, is it possible to have a best color that does not fall in your palette?
Peachy pinks are going to be closer to the salmon drape, and brighter ones would be coral. The magenta, berry, and orchid drapes are definitely cool toned. Any bluer and they veer into purple territory.
It could be your monitor, they do look a bit different on every one. But the magentas, berries and orchid, as other commentator says, are definately cool; mixed with more blue if you were going to mix the colours in paint.
I cannot tell if I am a clear winter or clear spring. I have dark hair extremely pale skin, warm hazel eyes and black eyebrows and eyelashes and warm freckles and bright pink lips. I look good in lighter lipsticks and dark kohl on my eyes. Cool red darker nails make my hands look bad and pink. I look good with pale pink nails, my hands look yellow and healthy. I rock gold and tolerate silver but it is not as flattering as gold. I have the palest skin I have ever seen. I look much more beautiful when i fake tan.
How do striped items affect our color palette? For example, one of my favorite shirts is yellow and white striped. I feel like it looks really good, but is it because of the yellow or the white?
The metallic frames are so interesting! BUT can you please consider an alternative to the name lead? It’s an incredibly toxic metal that causes so many issues worldwide. I know lead colored jewelry isn’t necessarily made out of lead, but in case anyone misunderstands and say, makes their own lead jewelry, they’d be harming their health (and those around them touching it, say babies).
@@colouranalysis_studio thank you for taking this issue seriously! ❤ Ps. Maybe titanium would be a suitable alternative? It’s used in jewelry and similar looking.

I have the same skin tone as Paula and I thought I was an autumn but I notice I look best in the colours of Winter Deep the same as Paula.
Another wonderful analysis! Along with Carol Brailey's channel, this is the best colour analysis channel.
You ladies are so charming and professional.
I agree!
Also watch Sara Ryan The Style Coach, she is the third in the group for me!
Loved seeing the specific variations of the metals through the cards. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my god she is so cuteeee!!! Amazing energy ❤! Loved this analysis!
Very enjoyable and interesting analysis, particularly with the different metals recommended for the winter pallette. You could see clearly the black tone in the lead and blue tone in the steel colour. Would love to see more on the metallic recommendations for the other seasons. X
She is stunning! Her depth and intensity are so beautiful.
The metal frames are soooo cool!! Can’t wait to see the best metals for Springs 👀
Thanks you have explained why my dark brown eyes and hair look to be warm but are actually cool palette
She is lovely and this was another interesting session! And the metallic frames are a nice addition!
I loved how you did the final cross check with the other bright, deep, and cool pallets. That was very helpful in seeing which one of the three actually had a better match to her own pallet.
Yaaayy new vid!!
I just found myself smiling during the whole video!! 🤭 You two have such a lovely energy togheter, such a fun and interesting video to watch 🥰
Can't wait for the day I get my analyses done by you guys 🤩
Another great analysis! I love seeing the variety of skin tones and their surprising color palettes. Great work!
Absolutely, thanks for clarifying about lead, we'll make it very clear in a dedicated comment! ❤
She looked nice with both the dark brown and navy blue, but the brown made her fade away. She got lost in it. The blue made her immediately stand out.
As soon as I saw her next to you, I knew she was the same palette - it was given away completely at the start 😂.
Paola is stunning, and WOW, you could really see that the cool tones are perfect for her! Very helpful to see such a clear difference here!
Fantastic!! I learned so much!!
I like how I’m getting good at guessing the level of intensity 😅
I really couldn't see much of a difference between the warm and cool, but I definitely could between light and deep colors. This was a fun one to watch.
It can take quite a long time to develop this visual awareness, it will come in time if you keep watching these videos!
@@trishagoodwin4069 I've been watching color analysis videos for about 3 years now.
Whooo hooo! Will give it a “Like” now and look forward to watching tonight.
Please give some insights on olive undertone also. Some colour really make me look green. I'll be beyond happy😊
I got the online service and I am a Bright Winter It was very surprising 😂
The only thing that stops me to take the online analysis is that I want to see the effect of the drapes on my skin and record the nuances in my eyes. So I'm still looking forward for you to come to Sydney ❤
I'm getting good at this. I knew she was was cool before you draped her!
Very good video and well explained❤
i love these videos so much! very much looking forward to the next one
I'm part way through, all the winter colours look great. I'm thinking she may be a true winter, but I'll soon find out, can't wait!!!
Oh wow I loved this new video I love how you are incorporating more and more frames and explanations 🎉 you guys really are the best out there 👌
I'm learning! (I think). I thought she'd be Winter. I'm only 4 and a half minutes in.
The lead! Wow
Your explanations are on point!
Love all your videos. I’ve been analyzed by you virtually as well. Quick question: are you still using your multi-colour drapes to help determine the level of intensity (ex. Summer vs Winter). If no, would love to know why.
Paola is a adorable!
Amazing! With online color analysis, how is the overtone not mistaken with the undertone? I love your videos and would love to book an online session at some point!
ty this is what i am!
I have the same olive skin. 😊
You guys!!! So sweet
i also have an olive skin colour and struggle a little to pinpoint my season. i would love an analysis with you guys but my phone is never able to take a photo of my skin, it always turns more grey or green, its so weird. i would love to come to australia and do it in person one day :)
I can see her wearing jewelry in hematite and gunmetal 💍
This is amazing! What about light blue for shirts? Thanks!
Funtazteek!
I’ve moved from winter to summer as I have gone grey
How do striped items affect our color palette? For example, one of my favorite shirts is yellow and white striped. I feel like it looks really good, but is it because of the yellow or the white?
Is this an olive skin tone or olive undertone person?
@@sorysorymakeupcare Lead, corretto! Grazie mille per seguirci 🥰❤
Why you don’t just guess.
I would have guessed autumn too.
and I would have been very wrong
The metallic frames are so interesting! BUT can you please consider an alternative to the name lead? It’s an incredibly toxic metal that causes so many issues worldwide. I know lead colored jewelry isn’t necessarily made out of lead, but in case anyone misunderstands and say, makes their own lead jewelry, they’d be harming their health (and those around them touching it, say babies).
Thank you SO much for this comment. You're absolutely right! We pinned our comment about this 🖤
@@colouranalysis_studio thank you for taking this issue seriously! ❤ Ps. Maybe titanium would be a suitable alternative? It’s used in jewelry and similar looking.
Maybe pewter or gunmetal?
I think it's way harder to see in the video because she looked good to me in some of the warm colors.
😍
