I bought a CD60Sce 3 years back an I started regretting as I used to compare it with my Yamaha F310 which I like a lot and I even had put it for sale. But now with time and with proper set of strings the guitar sounds fantastic and what you said right now about the guitar makes a lot of sense. Fender CD60SCE is definitely worth it, one of the best quality guitars available in the market.

I agree! I have an F310 and recently got a CD60SCE mahogany. I keep comparing both all the time! The Yamaha sounds warm and bassy, while the fender is bright. Maybe I need to give it time
@@nawaal4452 Yes indeed .......it needs time but keep playing it and dont keep it aside. when i had bought this guitar i was not comfortable with the stock strings as well because they used to hurt while pressing them against the frets. You can also try if you feel the same and get the guitar setup with the professional.
@@AsimAli-vt9qv Yes I got a setup done! It plays very well, but the sound isn't as bassy and room filling as my F310. I hope it improves with time

I have fender CD60 S black
But I like Yamaha f310...
CD 60 is the best for fingerstyle (little sharp sound)
And Yamaha is good for strumming (deep bass)
But that rounded neck of fender is really helpful while playing to mute upper strings

Hi Adit, I suggest you to make 2 videos when you review.. 1 with extreme detail[this one] and the other which should last around 5 mins .. just my suggestion !!!!! and in description great if you could add information about the guitar getting reviewed .. like for example I wanted to know the price of this guitar and I couldn't able to know [reason the video is so big] !!!!!

Very useful information about the string gap sir.. beginners usually don't have this idea and later on fingerstyle jab play karne lagte hai toh problems aati hain. Yamaha f310 is good no doubt but overall dekha jaye toh cort ad810 and this guitar is better in my opinion.

That's exactly what I want from everyone too varun 😊 Pay more attention to what I say than what I play. Anyone can say that this guitar has scalloped bracing or laminated top etc etc but I want viewers of all levels to understand it all. Also each time I do the measurements and wood and body check in all my reviews, my hope is that the same will get reinforced in the minds of others who will hopefully start doing the same when they re making their purchases 😊

Hi, Adit - thanks for your nice reviews - really appreciate the effort you put in.
I am mainly play blues and rock on the electric guitar. Lately, I want to venture into acoustic guitar playing. Although I have a local 7k acoustic guitar, which is ok, but to seriously start my journey into acoustic, a few months back I bought Cort SFX-CED Electro Acoustic Guitar for Bajaao. I selected this model as I had tested it in Sweeley Singapore and it ticked all the boxes, but unfortunately I had to return as there was a problem with the truss rod. Since then, I haven’t been able to find a good guitar. Basically, I am looking for a slim neck feel (been playing Ibanez since years) and lowest possible action (prefer finger picking style) and would be mainly use it for soloing (ie, I won't be using it for strumming much and as a singing accompaniment), and would prefer .010 guage strings. The other criteria would be a decent unplugged sound, but more importantly, great when plugged. I have Blackstar amp, but am considering Boss Katana and hear its acoustic simulation is good.
So currently, I am considering the following: [1] Fender CD 60 SCE [2] Fender Sonoran mini or the new California series [3] Fender FA-235E [4] Fender FA-345CE [5] Epiphone Hummingbird Pro [6] Martin LX1E (or Taylor BT1) - the travel 3/4 size is also fine by me. Essentially, these are available online in India and not sure if any shop would stock them all so personally checking them out especially in the current situation seems difficult. Based on your vast experience with acoustic guitars, if you have any personal suggestions from this list then please do share. Anything that you think fits my requirements and not on the list (eg, Yamha, Ibanez, etc) but available in India online, then also please do suggest. My budget is about 30k, but considering a lifetime investment, I can stretch it to a Martin or a Taylor if it is good value from money. Thanks.

140sce is only good sound for the price in CD series..quality wise fender is good..but sound category is very low compare to others in this price range.

Wood grain on the outside should match the inside / soundhole edges. If you see 2 different pieces of wood stuck together, it's a laminate. You can also get details on your manufacturers website

Haha. Well as I said in my review, this guitar met MY needs so 9 is MY score. Kind of like when you go for a movie and really like it, it may not seem all that great to a second person
