Wow! good job cleaning/fixing my dad's old receiver, enjoyed the video and learning about the product and how it works... Thanks 🙂
Had an SX-440 I redid a few years ago and sold it. Really miss it nice warm sound. So just purchased an SX-770 to fix up and put back in my collection. Great video! Thank you!
another excellent job thanks for sharing ...always learning something new from your years of experience...a priceless gift I do so appreciate...have a great 2024
Wow. It’s a pleasure watching and listening to you work on these antiquities. Obviously a real passion . You’re the kind of technician I’d be comfortable handing my gear over to for refurbishing.
I’ve got my original 1977 KA 8100, KT 7300, Technics SL-3200, ADC Sound Shaper ll and Bose 801 studio monitors. Still have all the original packaging and owners manuals.
It all works well however could certidly use a refurbishing and a few lights replaced. Wish I knew of a technician like you in my area.
Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge.
thank you much for that comment, truly appreciate it.
Great work on a well-preserved example; this generation of Pioneer sounded quite good.
Very nice job!
I have it's little brother the SX-440.
Very cool!
what is missing is hearing some music from that amp.. great video
I know and I'm with you on that one but YT police doesn't let you play any music for fear of copyrights it makes it very difficult....
@@VintageAudioFever there are so many non copyright music channels on youtube. you can play something like that via your phone or can download those music as well. and there is a youtube music library inside the youtube studio as well. everything is free. and lastly.. really great videos.. thank you..
Very nice looking unit….
Thank you.
Glad you like it!
Got the 440 model, those Pioneer receivers are a treat, bought a 2nd one. Love watching ya putting them back to running condition.
Glad you like them!
Awesome video Joe!
Glad you enjoyed it Julien!! thanks buddy
Unit from 1970-1971 :: Power output: 15 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)
Professional experience work
thank you!!!
Nice one Joe , a little classic .
Thanks for listening!!! Is the receiver classic or I am classic?? haha either or, I'll take that as a compliment...
Hi 👋 happy new year 🎊 !
Happy new year!!
Hey , Joe great video . I’m see that you have a siglent 1052. Do you use that one for FM alignment as well . I have heard some say that a 100mghz is needed . Thanks ! Subbed
Nice work Joe. That blackface reminds me of the early JVC offerings.
I picked up a SX 727 paid $140 in really goog conditions
nice!!!!
I liked this video so much, I bought this receiver from Joe.....Thanks Joe. It also came with the original box and bag the receiver came in from the factory as well as the operators/service manual. I will post a video in here with it running with my setup........ruclips.net/video/5RLWUBTdX9k/видео.html Another thing I have discovered is, that this receiver has preouts so and external amplifier can be used with it!!!!!!!!!!!! that is amazing for a 15 watt per channel receiver.
Glad I could help selling this receiver!!! thanks Tim
What was the WD-40 that you used first before the cleaner?
I only use the WD contact cleaner when the pot's are seized such as this unit. This stuff is amazing and lot's of pressure to lossen the scummy stuff out...
@@VintageAudioFever thanks...I will pick some up.
Doesn’t that nice meter of yours measure current? 🤔
