I had chills and actually cried this whole episode (41yrs). Mando has a new quest and a new ship! One of the best 50 minutes of the whole Star Wars franchise, including the originals. Someone at Disney has to realize that Feloni and Favrou have to be put in charge of the whole franchise going forward, they know Star Wars!
6:26 Halo is canon?
This episode is so Wizard, Blind Wave.
that wasnt a Ring world / Halo. you can see the edge of it in the previous shot. its more like Montressor Space Port from Treasure Planet (Which is even more rad)
I think of it as a Dyson-ring ( a ring around a Star)
I love how in Mandalorian, Boba appearance made him look so legendary and people were so excited to see him, now in Boba's series is exactly the same but with Mando, he’s legendary already for us

This is the way.
The Mandalorian is the baby Yoda for Boba Fett we were waiting for you said it in the last reaction video this show needs a baby Yoda LOL
The dark saber fits so well with Din's color scheme, it is a perfect pairing in that regard.
When he was holding it in front of him while fighting Vizla I was like "Damn that looks awesome."
Facts. Reflects so well off his armour.
Agreed but i think we can all agree that this lightsaber is nearly indestructible due to this episode revealing the hilt made out of beskar now
It's chrome & black..... it matches anything
Just needs to learn how to use it and hold it more properly
Please don’t say “Now this is podracing.”

Bryce Dallas Howard has been such a nice addition to the Star Wars universe. Her work is amazing, I love the episodes she's directed
She has done very well directing Star Wars. I trust her, Filoni, and Favreau to deliver good episodes every time!
This was her best yet
She absolutely killed it this episode
Gotta admit, I agree. She’s done really well with this material. Really enjoy her eps.
Plus, SHE POSTED ABOUT THIS REACTION ON INSTAGRAM!
This backdoor pilot for a new spin off about this Mandalorian guy looks quite good, I hope they pick it up for a full series! 😂
Looks like a promising character! Would be fun to watch his adventures!
🤗
Agreed. I wonder who this founding character is they kept mentioning 🤔 maybe they will be popular
Eh I don’t think so. He kinda sucked in this. He could never carry a series on his own. Idk why you guys would want a spin-off
Nah, I can't see this guy getting his own series. It would never work.
@@Webshooters1 yeah, he probably won't be close to having a 2nd Season...
I love that he accidentally cut himself, because we all know that would 100% happen if one of us actually got a lightsaber!
i would totally cripple myself if i had a lightsaber
“Energy constantly flows through the crystal. You're not fighting with a simple blade, as much as you are directing a current of power. Your thoughts, your actions, they become energy. They flow through the crystal as well, and become a part of the blade…That sword is old, heavy, but powerful. Respect it’s strength.”
I like that there is an in-universe explanation about Lightsabers feeling 'heavy' to those who don't know how to properly wield it.
I love how they're expanding on the lore and yet it still feels this authentic. Shows the power of great writing!
When I rewatched the episode with my dad whose a mechanic and knows cars he had the biggest grin on his face during the N-1 scenes, however he also he started crying because it brought back memories of me helping him fix a car over lockdown. He’s currently sick right now(don’t worry not virus related), but he’s getting better. That right their is the power of Star Wars! Certain things some may find monotonous, can bring great emotions in others! Seriously whoever wrote those scenes must have helped rebuild a car because it felt so authentic. Even getting oddly specific parts from “knowing a guy” hit too close to home. Also trust me looking on the outside people talking about parts is like speaking an alien language even in the real world.
That scene was the highlight of the episode for me, makes the starfighters feel like actual machines and not just fake spaceships on a tv screen
First off that was a really nice story and I hope your dad gets better soon. Second while I have never fixed a car I know exactly what Din is feeling, a month before the pandemic my car got wrecked in an accident (luckily no one was hurt) but I had such a sentimental attachment to that clunky car that I felt like I lost a friend. I got a newer and more up to date car an while it’s got less space it is pretty fast.
@@thedarkknight2221 that’s nice. It really puts into perspective that these aren’t just machines they very much are a part of you.

When the Armorer told Din what he must do do reclaim himself I said to myself: "Let us go through the Mines of Moria!"
Haha, that´s funny.
But tbh, how should he do that when the mines don´t exist anymore. I don´t think Mando will join them again, that´s atleast my guess
did you perhaps comment this on another reaction video for this ep?
I said to myself: "Guess I know what the main arc of the next season will be"
Grogu even going to get his own Mithril armor too.
@@jamie_michelson
It’d be interesting if the Armorer fights him to take the dark saber, and then she wins.
And then Bo Katan fights the Armorer to win it off of her.
After all I’m pretty sure the Armorer would have been part of Darth Maul’s faction so her and Bo Katan would probably not see eye to eye.
They took care of ALL the heavy lifting for next season. That makes me so excited that we can just jump right into the action for S3
I just love how they blend the Prequels and the Original Trilogy in this series. The Podrace call back hit me right in my Prequel loving feels. The Phantom Menace was the movie that got me into Star Wars when I was 5. Still remember seeing it in theaters with my parents. These last 2 Chapters are going to be insane! Hopefully Bossk and Dengar show up in Chapter 6. Can’t wait until next Wednesday!
I imagine there will be a little tension between Bossk and Krrsantan, wonder how that would get sorted out. Money probably.
Dang. You comment this on every ep5 reaction video don't you? It's like the 5th time I've seen it. Lol
I honestly had the dumbest, idiot grin on my face when he flew through the old race path. Pure nostalgia feels.
Same! I immediately recognized the Naboo starfighter SFX and the podracing track, it was so cool! I’m pretty sure they put podracing engines on the ship going off the noise it made.

Btw, as far as Din taking off his helmet: he *can* do it, it is allowed, but only so long as he is alone and no else can see it. They covered that in Season 1, episode 4. The woman on Sorgan asked him, "When was the last time you took that thing off?" He replied without hesitation, "Yesterday." Then she clarified by saying, "I mean in front of someone else." Din's answer was to point to the children and say he wasn't much older than them when he swore to the Creed. A couple of minutes later when she leaves the barn, Din takes off his helmet so he can eat the food she left for him.
So obviously, while he had the Razor Crest and could sit in privacy in the cargo bay without anyone else on the ship, he took off his helmet and ate, washed his face, groomed his mustache, whatever. On top of that he had his sleeping berth, where he could close himself off from the rest of the ship and have further privacy. That changed, of course, once he had Grogu, and no doubt he waited until Grogu was asleep in his hammock with the door closed before Din would risk taking the helmet off.
So it's not like they told him he could NEVER take his helmet off. It's more that no one else could be allowed to see his face.
He take off his his helmet in front off many people in season 2 last episode

Thr Mando duel is a moment the rest of those are Member Berries.
I guess that's what starwars is all about though
And we got to see the night of 1000 tears
Having recently played Fallen Order, I had to do a double take on the BD droid.
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 it’s actually confirmed that it is BD-1, even though it was lacking the red.
It was a total given ....it's their money maker
I was thinking that this episode proved Boba’s point of bounty hunting being a dead end, dangerous job. Din Djarin seems tired and annoyed during this bounty after being beaten, and doesn’t even hear about the other job. So maybe the reason he has a smaller ship is because he’s coming to the end of his Bounty Hunter career.
Very good point! I also thought how is he going to fit his bounty on that N-1 starfighter. They are both done with bounty hunting.
That's right, he doesnt need to get credits for his tribe anymore since he's out. We just might get new villains from the Watch, hunting Mando for the saber now.
I mean he's also injured, might have been a factor in him not wanting a job. Maybe he takes a dip in the bacta tank before going against the pykes.
That’s a solid observation it messes with the theme of the show well!
I mean he could still carry the heads in the cabin, Or that other little Astromech pod,
God dam, this Episode just proves how Mandalorian is easily one of the best... if not the best bit of star wars content of all time. I was glued to the screen the whole time.
Same!! Was amazing! Start to finish!
I would agree to the latter part of that statement. The Mandalorian is the reason Star Wars is exciting again. Happily grasping the animated lore and exploring the unseen side of the Skywalker saga.
Bold statement but yeah it’s pretty great
Best Comment from Eric of all time “Oh my god He’s gonna bring him in cold” 🤣
I was live-texting my sibling while watching and I txt at that pt... well, I guess he brought him in cold lol
I love how even tho Mando is a beast, he still struggles with the darksaber
I dont its stupid as shit not even the heaviest real historical swords which would be about 2-4 kg or 4-8 pounds would ever be heavy enough to need to swing that slow you would instantly be killed and this is a fucking lightsaber which should weigh nearly nothing.
@@Willams1996 You haven't watched the rebels episode where Sabine struggled with the same, eh?

Seeing Eric grab that pen to make a note when Din nearly castrated himself made me smile. Because I made the same note in my brain: Lightsabers are supposed to be DANGEROUS, especially for an untrained user. Well done lads.
👀 sequel film treatment of lightsabers
@@venomsnake225 what are you trying to say? Sequels handled the realism of lightsabers better than anything else before this.
I watched this and thought "Well, that's exactly what would happen to any regular person, Day 1."
@@venomsnake225 sequels aren't my jam, but do have to admit that they have more realistic lightsabers fights than the epileptic nightmare of the prequels and the wrist twirling in the original trilogy. I'm not saying the sequels were good, but they didn't get everything wrong.
@@insertsomethingfuni2617 Realistic is kind of an odd choice, I wouldnt say realistic and more clunky if anything, after all the whole Rey picks up a lightsaber and literally just fights and wins against Kylo Ren who trained with Luke personally and Snoke even while injured that is easily the most unrealistic thing I've seen. In terms of the flow of combat I prefer the high over the top intensity of extremely trained knights and siths the prequels to the slow heavy hits which is fine but at times it feels too weightful and ends up feeling clunky, they both have strengths and weaknesses, I think the best example of a mix with both would be any lightsaber fight in Mando's show, especially Ahsoka's, a good blend between flashy and weightful
I love that the hangar "security" systems are probably good for locking people from entering through doors at ground level. But for master parkour experts like Fennec Shand, all you just have to do is go through the open hangar roof and tadah, just piss off the owners of the hangar. XD
Hardcore
Everyone gangsta until the thief has a ladder.
I think it might be more designed to keep people from leaving (without paying) rather than keeping people from coming in.
I feel bad that the one of the droids is getting reprogram due to that XD
As weird as it is having a full episode of Mandalorian in Boba Fett this was so much better then if he just showed up on a ship like hey I'm here now, so I am all for them making this episode
They could have just used Bossk for Mandos role in the show, surely. It ties in so much better to Bobas story. His caretaker and mentor Vs a guy Boba did a favour for once.

Possibly
That would be freaking awesome!
Well, in order to weld the Darksaber, Djarin needs to learn from a Jedi. Just like Sabine learned from Kanan.
This is the way.
This is the way.
I really think that when Favreau and Rodriguez were planning out the Boba Fett show, they realized they needed to bring Mando in, and then decided to update us on where he was and what he was up to since we saw him last with Boba and Fennec, rescuing Grogu. Not only does this work better for the story than a simple "Hey what's up, what you been doin'?" but it also serves as a holdover for fans, because we're probably not going to see Mandalorian Season 3 premiere until late in 2022. At that point, I think they expanded The Book of Boba Fett from 6 episodes to 7 so that Din could have his own recap.
Just found out that Mando saying "wizard" was a reference to one of the kids in Phantom Menace saying to Anakin "That is so wizard" when they're testing out the pod racer.
Can we talk about how awesome the one shot was that showed him "going up" into the elevator, coming out, having the conversation with the one who hired him, left "went down" the elevator and walked out...but it was all done in the same area (no actual different levels) bc of The Volume. Loved it!
I noticed that too!
Man I love The Volume, what they are amazing to do in there is incredible
Theory - The chainmail that Din had made for Grogu is what saves him from Kylo Ren's purge of Luke's students.
very good, i havent thought of that, hope to see it in mando season 3
its barely the size of the knob, how is it gonna be a chainmail? i know grogu is small and im all for grogu wearing an armor but the size doesnt really add up, its more like a bracelet i guess

The sequels are not canon!
With just one flashback I was more terrified of the Imperials than I ever was of the First Order.

Agreed!
Three million mandalorian lives ended on October 26, 2012. The survivors of the nuclear holocaust called the war The night of a thousand tears. They lived only to face a new nightmare: the war against Disney
I like to compare this episode to the title of the series as a whole. In most good books, there are several chapters with none of the main protagonists in them. In the Book of Boba Fett, it makes sense that there would be a chapter without Boba Fett in it.
I took it more as a book of job style from the Bible where each book is about one person's life or specific journey.
Thank you! No one seems to understand that!
I hadn't thought about it like that, so thank you for this point
thing is, in those books they usually develop the main plotline of the novel.
this didn’t
@@_greenrunner_ Not always. sometimes, a chapter will be entirely dedicated to building a character to introduce into the story at a later point in order to add a sense of gravitas to the story. That's what this episode did.
Boba and Din are very similar, Din is just one step behind, Boba wants something greater, a "tribe" and a "family" and I think Din seeing this in the coming episodes with make him better understand the importance of the darksaber and what it means, uniting HIS tribe, he has a higher calling and letting go of the razor crest was a small sign of letting go of his past (how can he collect bounties now?) This episode also set up what we should expect in S3 of Mando, going to mandolore to restore his honor, mastering the darksaber and re uniting the clans.
Now we know more about The Night of a Thousand Tears. We thought the tears meant the sadness and the loss, no, the thousand tears meant the bombs falling on Mandalore. Chills
All I've been thinking about was you guys' reactions to SO many parts of this episode. Bryce Dallas Howard is absolutely _spectacular_ and there is just so much about this episode to love.
I don't think his ability to hunt bounties is first and foremost in his mind when he's taking on this ship. He wants to travel. He wants to find Grogu
I see your point, but he can still modify a light speed ring in some kind of cargo hold or something. That what I like about Filoni and Favreu, they are usually good at explaining or answering things when you least expect it.
@@RandomNPC001 The N-1 doesn’t need a ring. It already has a hyperdrive. It’s the Rolls-Royce of star fighters in the Star Wars universe
@@ravenwda007 I know that! That’s why I said they could “MODIFY” one to serve as a cargo hold. Comprehension of the words is key before you reply to someone. By the way, the light speed capabilities of the N-1 are limited, they are not for deep space like the Razor Crest. You can’t just jump from, say the outer ring to the inner ring, you would need to make stops along the way. The N-1 is a short to mid range jumper, much like a jump capable Tie Fighter.
The mention of the armorer about the "songs of aeons past" foretelling the rise of "the mythosaur" that would "herald a new age of Mandalore", could very well point in the direction of Grogu, being that he currently possesses the mythosaur pendant Dinn gave him ! Just think about it. A being with the lifespan like Grogu's species with both Jedi and (eventually) Mandalorian training ? That would be one very powerfull combination !
Could also be referencing Boba. The Fett’s Clan Crest is the Mythosaur Skull
@@TheNinjaBees That could indeed be the case as well.
She also said that "it was only part of Legends" which could be a reference to the old post Ep VI Canon (now Legends) where Boba was becoming Mand'alor after they had difficulties since Jango died.
Jedi Vizla was Mandalorian and Jedi, one of the most powerful Jedi ever
I think there is more to the Armorers question about taking off ones helmet than blind obedience to The Way.
Circumstance must count for something: taking off ones helmet in the presence of Family or Clan, for instance.
The seemingly unyielding rules of the Mandolorians are meant to be challenged.
This is Din Djarins "Thesis Defense" moment...he needs to make clear the why and wherefore that his helmet came off, while still honoring 'the Way'.
He has been a failure in the eyes of the Armorer so far: Din is meekly accepting his fate, rather than make a passionate plea for understanding.
Din has to learn how to fight with his words...
Makes sense. Din is by right the Mandalore now. He can't merely be a follower as he was before, he has to be a leader. It didn't occur to me during the episode, but there's likely more going on here than the armorer going "Them's the rules, son. Get out." He's failed the test so far but he may still pass it later.
Yep, I 100% believe the Armorer is trying to get him to find something, even if he doesn't know he's looking for it yet.
Their exchange about attachment illustrates what she’s trying for. He honors the way while pushing back against her judgment. Perhaps Jedi do forego attachment, but that’s not how we do things, and Grogu is still a foundling, whatever else he may be. He prevailed in that exchange.
Insane how much I think of how Blind Wave will react to these episodes when I watch them, especially this one. What an episode
Seeing Din use the darksaber as part of his arsenal is such a treat. I’m actually surprised Bo Katan didn’t have kosaka or axe follow him.

Honestly at first I wanted Bo Katan to have the saber again but she got her chance, Din should have it, he’s a good man and he just need to connect with the saber and maybe Luke can help jajaja
With what they said in this episode brings it right back to Mando last episode when Bo Katan would not take it again when given to her. She knows she has to win it in combat to be deserving of it.
The Naboo N1 comes with twin radial "J-Type" engines so in essence you could say that the N1 Starfighter is sporting a "2J".
Mando and crew literally built a Space Supra. xD
Exactly what I was thinking!
"I need a 10 second ship, not a 10 minute ship"
"Pop the hood"
When Mando said the line, "I can bring you in warm or I can bring you in cold" sends chills down my spine everytime
That voice
Mando flying a Naboo Starfighter, BD-1, Boonta Eve podracing track, Mandalore getting obliterated T2-style, Star Wars TSA, Mando butchering some butchers, and returning the money to allow for others to show up (Bad Batch, Bossk, Cad Bane, others?). This episode RULES!
I have heard, not sure how true this is, that the Book of Boba Fett was originally supposed to be six episodes followed by the Mandalorian, but the Mandalorian season 3 was delayed at some point and Boba Fett got an extra episode
If that is in fact what happened, I'm 99.9% convinced that THIS was the extra episode added in.
That’s pretty cool tbh
I could completely see that being the case, the Vibe is completely different, CGI looks like it was made by a different team, and the combat is Much smoother
Personally I like the book of boba fett. I feel like most people were expecting the same character we had before the sarlacc pit and that's just not who he is anymore
i like it too and im liking where they are taking this new version of Boba. I will never truly forgive Disney for taking EU Boba away from me and the fact that we will probably never get him on screen stings, but that doesnt diminish the show. Judge it on its own merrits^^
I think people were expecting a character hyped up by a parade, fans, and glorified fan fiction accumulated over 40+ years. Nothing in canon showed me he's someone bad ass. Dude got destroyed by dumb luck and a partially blind guy. I'm glad we're finally getting proper treatment of the Boba Fett character instead of someone's wet dream.
@@chaost4544 I love that you keep spamming the same bs under every comment. It doesn't matter how many times you tell a lie, it is still a lie.
@@mandalor1810 lying how? He had maybe 3 minutes of total screen time in the original trilogy and everything else in canon is him as a child. That's the truth.
I like how the flow of the show totally changed back to The Mandalorians flow.
BoBF has been pretty plot focused but The Mandalorian was very stand alone a lot of the time with the main plot only coming up every now and again. Basically nothing happens to move the story forward this episode until the end which is so fitting with its style.
It really was like Mando hijacked and took over the show for a bit.
And the director (brice Dallas Howard) worked on quite alot of the episodes of Mando
No matter how hard he tries, he always seems to become the main character
Dark Sabre is totally the Z Sword now.
Overly heavy to train with but leads to great strength........until it breaks against a rock
The comparison with Excalibur is pretty spot on.
Imagine they made a chainmail Jedi robe for grogu with the spear. That would be sick.
I mean that is what it looks like haha.
Hes gonna look so adorable
He'll look like Grogu cosplaying as Bennett from Commando.
This episode definitely had “checking in on an old friend” vibes
Seeing two x-wings and a Naboo Starfighter in the same frame together like that was absolutely beautiful.
Respect to Eric for immediately recognising the other X-Wing pilot.
I loved this episode so much - got emotional so many times during this. Din lost everything, broke his Creed for Grogu without regret and the covert casting him out gutted me; I was hoping they would support him as Mand'alor. That droid port looks like the perfect seat for Grogu, 😁. Twice now the Mythosaur has been mentioned to Din - Kuiil and the Armourer - which has me thinking ... when Din goes to redeem himself in the waters of the mines of Mandalore in S3 (I hope) what else is he going to find down there, hmm??? 🤔 Also, since the knob of the Razor Crest - which Din still has - appears to be Beskar cos it survived the destruction of the ship, I think that precious gift is chainmail armour for Grogu to wear under his Jedi robes. Love your reactions, guys, great as always, and I love your Star Wars love!
Me hearing that they would forge something for Grogu...
My Head: Imagine Grogu with mandalorian gear...
This episode was the best thing that Disney star wars has ever created. I absolutely loved this episode, the mix of creativity, storytelling and fun was perfect. It looked like they could've made an entire movie out of this one episode if they really wanted to.
Its so cool to me how Mando doesnt just get dropped into the series out of nowhere but we get the full story of how and why he ended up there.
There were some people complaining about taking an entire episode out of Bobas series for it but this kinda story telling is what the format of a series excells at you know.
Thats my opinion at least
It’s a bonus episode as well. It was originally six episodes, so Boba himself doesn’t lose any screen time. Just more Star Wars… *This Is The Way.*
@@marcusMakoT even better haha
Apart from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, Bryce is the best director we've gotten for Star Wars in a long time, no offence to the other directors of previous episodes but Bryce sure knows how to make Star Wars feel like Star Wars again, she's a great choice and nothing she makes we should take for granted. This episode was downright awesome.
And Rick Famuyiwa too!
Once again Jon and Dave came thru. I cant wait to see our lil green bean. So exciting on so many levels.
I just know Eric is gonna nerd out this episode. So wizard!
It’s making a comeback!
What`s this "Wizard?"
Been waiting for this as soon as Mando said "Wizard"
A while back the actor that plays Cal Kestis hinted he was working on a couple of Star Wars projects-the news released yesterday of Jedi Fallen order coming late this year and I personally think that BD was BD-1 and Cal will appear in Boba Fett or Mando season 3
Idk about any of that but if we are about to see little Grogu again then wouldn’t we be seeing Luke Skywalker again?
I really hope he doesn’t show up in any live action stuff anytime soon honestly. For one thing it takes literally any weight out of the Fallen Order sequels, because we know what happens to Cal, and for another, it’ll just make either of the shows way too dense bringing him in. So as enjoyable as the character is, I think he needs to stay within his own story for now, and when that’s completed then it might be the right time for Cal to branch out to other corners of Star Wars.
@@bestauthorever5406 I wouldn't mind seeing him in Obi-Wan Kenobi, since that's roughly the same time period as the game.
@@bestauthorever5406 I would think it would be cool to have cal cestis have his own show after the fallen order sequel since cal cestis is far more beloved than rey despite being a video game character
I'm not sure how I'd feel if it actually is BD-1. It feels a bit much of it is. Also, what are the chances almost exactly the same thing happens to his foot. There were definitely some cool moments in this episode but I did think it started to feel a bit fan service-y as it went on.
I just love that fact he still has the Darksaber. My man Din has his priorities straight, screw Mandalore and Bo-Katan's preaches. Trying to retake Mandalore for the nth time is less fun than spending time being a bounty hunter in the galaxy and visiting your son in Jedi School.
this is funny because everything this episode was Din letting go of his past and clearly after fighting for Boba and seeing what Boba is fighting for (tribe/family) we are going to see Din go to Mandalore to unite his 'tribe'. His bounty hunting days are over.
One of the greatest episodes i’ve ever seen of ANY tv show
Can't wait to see kenobi
The Naboo starfighter chromed and tricked out like this reminds me of a Porche or an Formula 1 racer. Small, but fast. And I think they used Formula one sounds for it in Episode 1, didn't they?
Also, I wonder if the seat in the starfighter folds down like a carseat and he can just push the seat back and sleep? LMAO! The position of his head can go where the droidpod was and he can stretch out! More leg room!
Definitely sounded like hints of F1 during Mando's test flight
Yes, Eric! 'Lieutenant Reed' was, indeed, portrayed by *Max* *Lloyd-Jones* (who doubled for 'Luke' in the season 2 finale of THE MANDALORIAN). Good eye! 👁
What the crazy awesome! Loved this so unexpected episode. Like so many I know I didn't expect to see Mando till maybe next December for his own new season. So right off the bat episode 5 gives us only Mando and and so much more! So Great!
I loved how the intro mixed Boba and Din’s theme, such a good episode
The episode was called “The Return of the Mandalorian”. I mean, they gave us a heads up… that said, we now know why this series is 7 episodes and not the standard 6. A Mando insert before they bring him back. We needed this, I don’t hate it at all. 😁❤️
the whole part with mando getting his new fighter was really something.
"OMG he's going to bring him in cold" was the hot takes of all hot takes!!
There is an unconfirmed report that Vincent D'Onofrio uncredited, voiced the bounty that Mando killed and beheaded in the beginning of the episode, i went back and watched, sounded just like him
I thought that's who it was.
40:25
Boba: “I’ve ridden beasts ten times its size.”
Din: “I’ve ridden beasts fifty times its size.”
Jawa: "I've ridden beasts twice my size."

I love that the episodes are trying to answer as many questions that people have/could come up with as to what's going on among the characters so that when they come together we get a deeper feel for the universe they live in
Of course he had to get a new ship. And of course he has to go see his ‘little friend’ this puts him in the vicinity of Luke who can TRAIN him to hopefully create synergy with the dark-saber because he NEEDS a smidge of Jedi training for the Dark-Saber
What if when Din goes to see Grogu that Luke teaches him how to wield the Dark Saber? Like Kanen did for Sabine. That would be pretty dam cool.
As cool as that would be, I don’t want the to dedicate another whole episode to Din learning to wield the saber, especially with only two episodes left.
@@quesoturtle739 Agreed I bet we won't get to see him go to Grogu until season 3 of Man do.
The razor crest was great but I think we've moved on. I'd like to see him persist with the N1 for a while.
At one point I was wondering about the armourer being force sensitive. 1. She handled the darksaber with ease when inspecting it 2. She was quite knowledgeable about jedi ways 3. it nearly looked like she knew Grogus name
By far the best episode of the show so far, the world building in this episode was INSANE !!
I'm still shook that Paz said he was going to end Din clan when he had the Saber and was going to behead him.....like shit. He was ready to full out murder Din
And look where it got him couldn't beat din dispite both of them had problems with the darksaber paz isn't pre and he sure as hell isn't his ancestor
When Din said "Thanks Little Guy" to the BD droid that was a nod to Fallen Order when Cal would say it to BD-1 after using a stem
When Mando had to remove all of his weapons he gave off Dean Winchester vibes, especially how much he knew would be categorized as weapons, and that he remembered each and every one of them
The episode itself was really good. I liked getting to see Mando, the Armorer, Paz, the mechanic, all of it. But it also really hammers home an issue I've been having with the series overall so far: Boba Fett feels more like a supporting character at several points in his own series than the protagonist. There have been a few times when Fennec felt like the more impressive character who had the more impactful moments. I am hoping the rest of the season changes that, and that we get to see Boba really flex to the extent that people have always believed he could. His years of bounty hunting, further years training with the Tuskans, and just years of experience in life in general. Let Boba be the lead for once!!
Beautifully shot, deep, emotional, funny -- and saturated in Star Wars lore. Absolutely loved this episode.
I yelled “THANK YOU SANTA!” when I saw The Mandalorian! 😊👍
They set it up perfectly for Din to get Saber training when he visits Grogu to give him his gift. CGI Luke or Kyle Katarn training Din would be so cool.
40:30 now I'm just imagining a badass scene where Boba rides his Rancor and then Din just struts in on his Mythosaur and just totally overshadows Boba and takes away from all of the Rancor hype.
I'M SUCH A FUCKING NERD, I CRIED WHEN THE FINISHED STARFIGHTER CAME OUT.
I bet I will cry. So far it looks like garbage. Finish skinning it, Peli.
Between this episode and the last, the groundwork was laid for at least part of what the future grand Mandalorian battle will look like. We know Boba will learn to ride the Rancor and Din Djarin will inevitably be a rider of a yet to be revealed Mythosaur.
Its really crazy how quickly Mando has become one of my favourite star wars characters ever.
He's definitely in my top 5
