Ronnie is not only a amazing bodybuilder but just a great person in general. It’s no surprise to me that someone like him decided to become a police officer. As if being a 8x Mr Olympia doesn’t give you enough reason to respect the guy, but add to that the fact that he chose a profession where he risks his own life to protect and serve society. God bless Ronnie for being a inspiration to millions of people.
Hard to find him 8 time legit winner since they never rotated the judges for his wins and the judges included his wife and friends and he signed an 8 year contract with Weider one week before his first win at Olympia and we all know Weider owns the Olympia competition.
@robhamilton4736 his wife was never a judge... thats a complete myth brotha.. please get your facts straight. And none of the judges were friends with the bodybuilders.
When Ronnie Coleman came to New Zealand in 2001 for his bodybuilding seminar everyone had there eyes fixed on his massive arms and then when he took his shirt and pants off everyone screamed the gym down and were in absolute awe, even all the big police officers and other bodybuilders looked so small compared to Ronnie. He stayed for about 3hrs or so after the seminar finished to sign pics and talk to fans because no one wanted to leave. Never seen a bodybuilder since of his calibre.
THE GREATEST BB OF ALL TIME. Ronnie replied to everyone of my emails:back in the day during his 8 year reign! Always around 3-4am. What famous person has ever done that?!
I met ronnie at 15 years old I was into bodybuilding for a year or 2 and I was 215 pounds pretty solid and he made me look like a baby. I still have the picture at Arnold classic 2006 I’ve never seen a human being that big and still haven’t to this day. Truly one in 8 billion human being.
@@med_ayhem_benabdasize wise yes but conditioning ,vascularity, muscularity, proportions, symmetry, definition, separation, that's where the similarities end
Ok now you need STAN EFFERDING on. Everyone interviews him on his diet stuff , but they never tap into his business side which I think is more vast. He’s a wealth of info. Helped me lose 90lbs and appreciate that guy and his generosity!
I didnt see this in the comments but i think its important to acknowledge. Ronnie never mentioned the difficulties of being judged by his appareance per say, but it definitely was a factor in how he communicated a few things (it was gods plan). Its important to acknowledge that not everyone is dealt the same opportunities. Ronnie was able to see the genetic potential he had and took full advantage of it. It is important to see what you can use, and use it as your strength. The world is a tough place and many unfair things happen to many of us.
The owner of the gym saw his potential. He was not interested in bodybuilding. If the owner didn’t give him that free offer, Ronnie would most likely have retired as a police officer.
@@sensid-iwnl-5201 The way he talks and looks regardless of how much he accomplished summa cum luade applying for all the accounting positions, it didn't matter cause he didn't fit the bill of the look.
Why share secrets (1-3)??🤷♂️ 1. The guys like flex & Levrone who gave him advice were seemingly sooo far ahead (1st vs. 16th) they didn’t think it mattered. 2. They all became friends traveling together back then around Europe, most sponsored by Weider, & it was such a small group. Much less competitive atmosphere! (But even today w/ SM they’re still a lot of comradery just bc it’s so difficult, only they understand at the top) 3. Most weren’t truly secret, Ronnie was just so uneducated starting so late@26-27yo. He won when he hooked up w/ a great coach-surprised he doesn’t mention him 10x?!? Since he owes him a lot!
24:00 27:40 he woke up at 2 am and ate then went back to sleep xD 29:20 he started winning when he started eating in his sleep and he fell asleep minutes after 31:00 her mom cooked the food so good it never felt like a diet 37:40 40:00 Ronnie was so big no-one dared to fight him
Allow me to translate Ronnie’s advice for young bodybuilders from English into actual bodybuilding: “Find someone who is very knowledgable about steroids, HGH, insulin, etc. and that’s how you become a great bodybuilder.” I must give it to Ronnie, he was actually quite honest (as honest as he or any other champion can be). You just have to read between the lines. When ever a champion says “diet and you know… pause” it actually means steroids. The chemestry is the MOST important aspect of bodybuilding. With that being said, genetics are the second most important thing. Diet and training comes easy enough to all people who have ambition. It all boils down to steroids and genetics!!! Ronnie is the king, of course, love him ❤
I talked to Ronnie Coleman on the phone when he was in Lawrence, MA in 2016 and met Jay Cutler in 2019 at the expo. I had Cutler sign Ronnie's poster to keep the competition going, it was awesome
Thank you Ronnie, C for encouraging and helping educate the younger generation regarding your life experience and bodybuilding. They will always remember your words in later days
Nice episode. I like how you both are respectful to the guests. That is very important, never lose that. (based on prev few that I've seen - like Boby Lee one) Right now, 10 minutes in, seems good!
unfortunately these guys usually dont make it past 60. people often get aesthetic confused with health/fitness. if you want to actually be healthy, you want to be lean and somewhat normal size. on top of all the steroids that they pump into their system, human bodies are not designed to carry around that much weight - even if its muscle. you're just making your heart work overtime to get the blood flowing to all that muscle tissue.
Wow, Ronnie, your journey into bodybuilding and your determination to succeed is truly inspiring! It's amazing how you took that opportunity at Metroflex Gym and turned it into a legendary career. Your dedication and hard work are truly commendable. Throughout your bodybuilding career, did you ever have a favorite cheat meal or guilty pleasure food that you couldn't resist, even during intense training and dieting periods?
I couldn't agree more! Ronnie's journey into bodybuilding and his unwavering determination are nothing short of inspiring. It's incredible to see how he seized an opportunity at Metroflex Gym and transformed into a legendary career. His dedication and relentless hard work are truly commendable.
If youre asking me this, there was this one cheat meal I absolutely couldn't resist - pizza. No matter how strict my training and diet were, the allure of a delicious, cheesy pizza was irresistible. 🍕💪
I like your dedication to bodybuilding and your incredible journey are beyond inspiring! Your achievements at Metroflex Gym are legendary, and it's clear that your hard work paid off.

Yeah Buddy, had a blast talking with your guys!!
Ronnie-This is one of your BEST interviews! Would love to attend one of your Body building seminars. Do you have any coming up?
Thank you so much for coming on! We loved chatting with you!

A good one; the most real I've seen Ronnie Coleman. Guys are becoming good conversational interviewers.

Loved this one! Ronnie is a real life, national treasure and absolute Legend. Learned lots of new info in this interview. Thank you!
What I love about Ronnie is he never complains or regrets anything.

appearance? Im just a lil confused, can you explain a bit please, thanks
@sensid-iwnl-5201 What I mean is he was most likely judged by his physical appearance in negative ways and he had to just cope and deal with it.
