Sounds like its a healthy engine so far. I've been thinking about buying up some old 12 and 24 valve Cummins to sit on. Especially with the way the diesel market is going on over here. The old pre emission motors are becoming worth their weight in gold. Shame about the turbo though, at least hx35s and h1c turbos are pretty common still.
Hi Mr Sooty, that's probably a good idea to collect a few. Just be aware that there is a batch of faulty engine block castings made back in the 90's or 2000's (Maybe???). A bit of research will tell you what 'casting numbers' to look out for. With a bit of patience, a turbo will turn up sooner or later. Thanks for the comment. :-)
Hi mate another good video. It sounds to be in decent shape. As for the bloke that sold it, a deal is a deal and if it was done with a turbo well that is part of it regardless. Talk soon
Thanks Steve. I'm still trying to source all the other missing parts for it with 'some' success. My boss is a very prevalent business man in the community. This person will never do business with us again.
Too bad about the turbo but you may not know when or how but he’ll get what’s due him some day. So it sounds like this engine is earmarked for something already, what may that be?
Hi Geoffrey. Yep, we have two 15 tonne rollers with 3208 Cat motors. Nothing really wrong with the Cat's except for them being thirsty, unreliable and difficult to work on. So the plan is to swap them out at some point.
No worries about inconsistent schedule, just happy to see you post. Thanks for the video.
Thank you Mr Sage. I'm glad you're enjoying the content. :-)
Nice Job and powerful fan ;)
Thanks Stanley!! That fan is a 'life-saver' on a hot day!!
Good job Pete ! Good old common sense came into play on that injector pump ! Doesnt hurt to do some investigation sometime. Cheers mate , Scott 🌵
Thanks Scott. I'm super glad it was an easy fix!! Good to see you enjoyed it!!

It’s not good business mate at all and certainly not something that should happen. He hasn’t done himself any favours at all.
Nice video mate, buyer beware is one thing but flat out lying about what you're selling is just unAustralian. Unfortunately it's bloody everywhere.
Hi Tim, yeah he kinda did the 'bait & switch' on us. Not happy about it, but it's between him and the boss, now. Thanks for the comment! :-)

Bugger about that turbo :(
Yeah, I know, right!!
