- Kevin Costner is breaking his silence amid his divorce from Christine Baumgartner. The "Yellowstone" star and his estranged wife appeared in court on Sept. 1 for a hearing as part of their ongoing legal battle over their split, and he spoke exclusively with Access Hollywood outside the courthouse. When he asked how he hopes the proceedings will unfold, he hinted at the difficult emotions surrounding the end of his marriage and the contentious legal battle. “It feels so bad - We're talking about somebody i love on the other side. I just can't,” he said.
A family member of mine worked closely with him back in the day (Dances With Wolves) and said KC was salt-of-the-Earth, next-level gracious, and 100% professional and passionate about his projects. A complete outlier, and a very unique and relatable person and talent in Hollywood. It speaks to his enduring career in an otherwise "dog-eat-dog" profession.

It’s too bad that some women (or vice versa) cannot understand that a person’s essence (and the accompanying financial rewards) is in their blessed craft. Stories of families in the 40’s, 50’s, etc., NYC boroughs, and elsewhere in the world, where families did not see the father (usually the father) who worked long hours, maybe even 2 jobs, talking briefly with his children, except weekends or holidays. They were beat from the long hard days of working.
This was the norm back then. Thinking of Dr. Michael Savage speaking of this in his family and his own father who ran a little store, business, in NYC, growing up.
So, fast forward to more recent times. This business of, ‘fathers not spending enough time with the family’. It can be worked out and there needs to be a half way point reached, to be arrived at with understanding. The Bible says, ‘In everything you do, be Well Balanced, for your enemy roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour’.
That means don’t be too top heavy on her side, she must give, and vice versa, on his side.
He seems like a wonderful person, so understanding and respectful, considerate, filled with love for his family, wife. It’s a shame, bec you won’t easily find those qualities every day.
She should really reconsider, pray about this. Simple spiritual counseling could bring this whole situation back together, made whole.

I have to be fair, Kevin got his own issues. I admire he is very talented and hard worker, he earned all the money that he deserves. But he also is a broken man, that’s why he is just like another Hollywood person go from one woman to the next, one marriages to the next. He can’t love, but think he can. He needs to stop marrying woman, but learn to be ok on his own. You can’t find a true life time partner when you are so emotionally consciously broken. By nothing means she can’t contribute any money and any actual love. She was in it for her “ lavish life style perks”. A woman is so delusional and entitled, think she must have this life style even she is sicken tired of a man who provides her for it. She needs to get lost. I am woman and usually I will support a woman in a much less power and money dynamic, but this woman is piece of garbage, in her character. So take it out, Kevin. I remember when they got married, I told everyone she will divorce him in about 20 years when he gets really old, just like most younger women do when they marry a much older man. She stayed with him long enough to secure herself a good lifestyle after she divorces him. This happens all the time, but these older guys still keep marrying these young women, then twenty years down the road they're devastated because she divorces him. I'm a 68-year-old man and have been divorced for 40 years this past December. I never even thought about getting married again. I guess it turns out that Kevin Costner is just an old fool.
