I have always admired Kevin Costner. So nice to find a show where people sit around and just talk for awhile versus a show like Fallon's or Kimmels, etc.
I really enjoy talk shows, but I don't want to watch the host talk - just the guests. These shows really wind me up; you tune in and wait about half an hour for the first guest. The best interviewer IMHO, was the late James Lipton. He was an amazing interviewer. The dynamic of Inside The Actors' Studio, in which he embraces the audience of students into the interview worked really well, RIP James.
Found this clip and it is a gem. When Kevin speaks of Burt Lancaster in Field of Dreams, I only can wish he would of won an award for his performance as he details the sun in his eyes and how after sliding he wraps his arms around the base. Thank you for directing one fine movie.
I never thought I would be so into old westerns, and as I get older I really appreciate the simplicity of them and Kevin cones along witj dances with wolfs and blew me away. He just keeps getting better and along comes Yellowstone. Unbelievable, of how they blend the old with the new today. They absolutely nailed it. The only bad part is NOT enough episodes and have to wait after THE last one this season on August 21st. Everyone should watch this with their kids and grandkids. Just looking back at the simply things in life and where all American came from. Thank you, Kevin, and all the cast of Yellowstone.
I love Kevin Costner for almost 30 years! He’s handsome, talented, respectful and just from what I’ve seen in my lifetime, an all around amazing man!!!! I love all of his movies, and I have to say Yellowstone is my all time FAVORITE SHOW/SERIES!!!😀❤️ Anything with Kevin Costner, I’m all over it!! If I could ever meet this man, it would surely be a dream come true!😊🏇❤️
I was just telling my girlfriend that for me Kevin Costner is in many ways today’s Paul Newman. Just so interesting to listen to, radiates integrity and is classic cool. Punctuated in this interview when he ends up talking about Newman and Cool Hand Luke.
Kevin Costner, is one of the few actors who looked physically coordinated when he played his sports roles. Baseball, golf he looked like he played. But Costner is still at the top game acting and producing in Yellowstone; what a terrific series.
Great interview with Kevin...never disappoints! I can tell you we really appreciate his genuineness; we live in the Bitterroot Valley and our daughter had an opportunity to be an extra during filming for “Yellowstone”, Kevin was so good to her...just a really humble man with a great heart! You’ve always got a place in Big Sky Country!
An outstanding actor and great leader in Yellowstone. All the characters are awesome that make the movie, the series. The series would not be the same if one of these actors was missing. The entertainment is phenomenal. It is the combination of all the characters that make Yellowstone so successful. Sincere thanks to all that had this vision and courage to tell the story. Every single actor in this series, offers so much and is an important part of this series. The truth is, the big ranches like Yellowstone and later the Four Sixes are the frontier between the urban concrete, the past and American history. The ranches should be preserved in all their glory to show our children how it was at one time. Indeed, Yellowstone is the buffer between the urban greed and the loss of the Indian lands. When the Yellowstones are gone, there will not be anything left to protect our past, our culture.
You have culture ...??? Wht kind of culture??? Gun culture??? School shooting culture?? Mall shooting culture ??? Drug culture??? Color culture??? don't need isis or any terrorists to destroy America... America sucks ...
I could tell you things about his chractor that are pathetic as I worked with him on the filming of water world here on The Big Island of Hawaii. But I won't spoil your belief
Kevin Costner, you are so real, sexy, smart, tough, rough, smooth, and a man man plus. As in your work, hell if we know you for real. But you have kept it hopping in my time line. Thank you.
can you imagine being plucked out of no where to be a part of this master piece The only thing more amazing than this show is if they would really just pick somebody out at random bring them in with a part and change their whole life. Sometimes hard workin "nobodys" have a look in their eye that can make a character more relatable or believable but I will say the cast is amazing always been a fan of KC and this show is kickin ass
A great actor with a great career. Whenever I’ve seen hm in an interview he always comes across as a solid, humble individual. My favourite character was Billy Chappel. It was a very human character.
I think anyone who hasn't seen the postman and even people that have should re watch it it's especially important to do so in today's climate gives you an appreciation for our freedom
I have always loved Kevin. He's "so down to earth and he seems to be so "real", of course my favorite movie of him is Body Guard with him and Whitney Houston!!
Per Sos Costieri Coster Promeso Anelo Diamant I wil Neu York fa Wifi da Batalii gelicoptera i catapultazii Zelinski Oleni ce Dato Sos Strano ce lui e turco c'è lei loro salwato wita non regalato niente inon trovato ce aspettava io tanto lowe i diamant anel stare wifi ce no ne gusto ce lui turco ce loro non mangawi pese cani ❤
Baby please try and get my money back 2030.00,I was suppose to go to Paris with you for two weeks . I love you baby .a sk them to show you some of the letters I wrote to you
I started at Cal State Fullerton the year Kevin Costner graduated. Because I played D1 golf at Fullerton it comes up in conversation occasionally even after all these years and every time the person or people say "Did you see Kevin Costner because he played baseball there" FYI, he didn't play ball at Fullerton.
His reference to the Jimmy Stewart movie, "How the west was won", was spot on. I had the same feelings watching that movie that holy crap that is what it used to be like.
Looking forward to seeing this in the uk. Love kevin since i first saw him in no way out ! Only 2 crappy films in his whole career..not many actors can say that and ive never heard him slag off any fellow actors but have heard them speak sooo highly of HIM.. just read a perfect description of him.. a mans man and a womans dream..
The best show ever made, period. Costner is an actor, not an artist, like some claim to be, but a true actor that gets it! Dallas was great, Yellowstone is fuc&%$@ outstanding!
Love Kevin Costner. One of my favorite actors to watch. Jake in Silverado was his best performance, in my opinion, the role that made me a fan of his. I can't help but notice though that his shirt buttons are about to pop. I have the same problem. :)
Shows he's happy.Same with woman she gets comfortable in life and she puts on a little weigh and it doesn't bother her and she still feels confident she's happy
Cool Hand Luke. First time I watched it was with my Grandma at her house. She said Paul Newman could park his shoes under her bed anytime. Hilarious and I was in my teens.
I wonder if Kevin ever realizes how great he is. Not people telling him how great he is. But him just sitting or standing there and knowing he is that damn good.
Diana... "step aside"! In Open Range when he wants to kill the guy on the ground and Robert Duvall is trying to stop him. The way he says step aside is so emotional.
No Way Out - that’s when I fell in love with him! 💖 I LOOOOVE ALL Mr. Costner’s movies 💖💖💖💖 except........ Mr. Brooks.....🤢😞; but it doesn’t matter, he is SUPERB, delicious to look at and listen to, smart, and everything else!!! ❤️❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What is impressive about Costner, is that he is believable in every role. In Bull Durham, no one believed Tim Robbins could be a super star pitcher / athlete. But Crash Davis was a completely believable journeyman catcher. When they pitched the John Dutton character, can anyone picture another actor than Costner? I just watched Draft Day. Again, Denis Leary as a high end football coach? Nope. But Sonny Weaver though was everything you imagine a GM to be.
At about 3:50, Costner is talking about a great minor leaguer stuck in the Oriole’s farm system. I believe that he could have been referring to Roger Freed. Primarily an outfielder, Freed actually played 25 games at third base for Stockton in 1968!
One of my best friends sat in AAA behind Biggio for years...Finally had his major league debut in a September Call-up...hit the 4th pitch he saw 385' for a 3-run dinger. Never got another hit in the Show...
À quand saison 4 et 5 sur Netflix. Merci ❤ Vous nous avez habitués à une excellente émission . Et après plus rien, le néant 😢 à quand les saisons 4 et 5. On a hâte. ❤❤❤
I know I’m late to this but we are all just gonna ignore that Kevin called “For Love of the Game” a non-baseball movie “Perfect World”? I thought he was gonna tell a Clint Eastwood story (director of Perfect World) and then he starts talking about Vin Scully.
It's really nice to hear you talk about the things you do. All your movies are good. And your singing is amazing. ❤
I have always admired Kevin Costner. So nice to find a show where people sit around and just talk for awhile versus a show like Fallon's or Kimmels, etc.
He is the real deal...a laid back cowboy.
I was blessed to work with him on the promo work for Yellowstone.
I really enjoy talk shows, but I don't want to watch the host talk - just the guests. These shows really wind me up; you tune in and wait about half an hour for the first guest. The best interviewer IMHO, was the late James Lipton. He was an amazing interviewer. Yes @Ronald Reil, and there is no annoying music or some stage manager revving up audience to clap constantly
Yes @Ronald Reil, and there is no annoying music or some stage manager revving up audience to clap constantly
As movie celebrities go, Kevin Costner is one of the "real" ones. So refreshing.
I binged watched 8 episodes of "Yellowstone" It's a pretty damn good show. More please.
Yellowstone episodes
I Fli
Hell yeah
Found this clip and it is a gem. When Kevin speaks of Burt Lancaster in Field of Dreams, I only can wish he would of won an award for his performance as he details the sun in his eyes and how after sliding he wraps his arms around the base. Thank you for directing one fine movie.

God is good
Open Range and Silverado are both great also. And now Costner has a modern western TV show with Yellowstone.
Nobody does it better than Kevin Costner. No one gives an interview or talk show like Kevin! Simply the Best, in all that he does!
So true
I love Kevin Costner for almost 30 years! He’s handsome, talented, respectful and just from what I’ve seen in my lifetime, an all around amazing man!!!! Kevin is Yellowstone he’s made that show what is Yellowstone without him he amazing actor it take all of them to make great.
A couple of girls who worked in my building met him. He was very nice to them. Their feet didn't hit the ground all day.
I was just telling my girlfriend that for me Kevin Costner is in many ways today’s Paul Newman. Just so interesting to listen to, radiates integrity and is classic cool. Punctuated in this interview when he ends up talking about Newman and Cool Hand Luke.
I totally agree with you...
Kevin Costner, is one of the few actors who looked physically coordinated when he played his sports roles. Baseball, golf he looked like he played. But Costner is still at the top game acting and producing in Yellowstone; what a terrific series.
❤
Just started watching Yellowstone with my wife. I am really intrigued by this series. Costner has such an incredible body of work.
You’re in for a real treat. It’s one of my all time favourites tv shows. And he brings the same quality of work that he does to his movies.
Thank you Mr Eisner & Mr Costner, for your engaging conversation.
Costner is a really talented actor who's been able to work often all of these years and still stay relevant the whole time.
The show Yellowstone is AMAZING! LOVE IT!!
Kevin is amazing. In every interview he does. He can come up with answers no No matter what he’s an amazing actor. Nothing he can’t do.
Great interview with Kevin...never disappoints! I can tell you we really appreciate his genuineness; we live in the Bitterroot Valley and our daughter had an opportunity to be an extra during filming for “Yellowstone”, Kevin was so good to her...just a really humble man with a great heart! Like you said amazing humble man.
I could listen to Kevin Costner all day. Hard to pick just one movie of his as my favorite but I did like him as Billy Chapel of the Detroit Tigers
KC is the real deal. Yellowstone is the best show on TV.
An outstanding actor and great leader in Yellowstone. All the characters are awesome that make the movie, the series. The series would not be the same if one of these actors was missing. I’ve been a fan for approximately 32 years now. He truly is an amazing man who intrigues me completely. ❤ Love to hear his interviews.
He is beautiful. "And I will always love youuuu" Kevin is husband material. A man's man. But a womans dream.
Ahhh..such a rare treat
Such a cool guy and an amazing amazing actor that makes any part he plays feel so real. A talent of only a chosen few.
Yes indeed
I could tell you things about his chractor that are pathetic as I worked with him on the filming of water world here on The Big Island of Hawaii. But I won't spoil your belief
Wes Harrington Do tell?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
JFK...one of my all time favorites! Thank you Mr Costner
Kevin's eulogy for Whitney Houston is incredible
Kevin is a national treasure.
Saw the first two episodes and already think it’s on its way to being a classic like Breaking Bad or The Sopranos
Need more shows like this: Yellowstone, Longmire
Kevin’s interview was good talk about baseball and Yellowstone I hope they bring kevin back to Yellowstone he makes the show.
Kevin love baseball he really no the game.
Great role Kevin 😍🎬. Perfect casting for Yellowstone ‼️‼️👏🏻👏🏻
Kevin Costner, you are so real, sexy, smart, tough, rough, smooth, and a man man plus. As in your work, hell if we know you for real. But you have kept it hopping in my time line. Thank you.
Dances With Wolves...favorite Costner movie. The John Barry movie score is one of the best ever written.
2 Socks theme is just pure gold. 👌🏻
Saw Kevin’s speech for Vin.. cried and love Yellowstone! Yay..Cool hand Luke is one of my very favorites as well!
Love hearing Kevin Costner talk. ❤

The writer and director Taylor Sheridan is an unbelievable writer. Check out his frontier trilogy they are incredible
Open Range is the most underrated Western of all time.
Agreed, I loved that movie....
I totally agree! I never tire of watching that movie.
That is my second favorite Kevin Costner movie falling only behind Dances with wolves.
I think anyone who hasn't seen the postman and even people that have should re watch it it's especially important to do so in today's climate gives you an appreciation for our freedom

Yeah, I'm still a big time Western film fan, please make more of them.
Great interview! As always!!! Thanks Kevin!!!!
His reference to the Jimmy Stewart movie, "How the west was won", was spot on. I had the same feelings watching that movie that holy crap that is what it used to be like.
I would choose "A Perfect world" if I had to ! So moving and deep performance/movie.
Saw that in the theater as a kid. One of Clint Eastwoods best. Great film with damn fine performances.

Yellowstone is a great show!
Costner is such a cool dude. What an amazing career he has put together, one great film after another.

What an absolute legend.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love Kevin Costner. One of my favorite actors to watch. Jake in Silverado was his best performance, in my opinion, the role that made me a fan of his. I can't help but notice though that his shirt buttons are about to pop. I have the same problem. :)
I like the man belly🌷not big hot air balloon but a nice little melon belly is nice on an older man
Shows he's happy.Same with woman she gets comfortable in life and she puts on a little weigh and it doesn't bother her and she still feels confident she's happy
Tracybelly?😊
My favorite Costner movie was No Way Out! Great suspense movie!!!
This man is the best actor to ever live imo. So many amazing rolls.
*roles
I am woefully late to viewing this video, but excellent interview, as always. Awesome story about Mr. Vin Scully...
Open Range is a great movie. Costner makes good movies but his westerns are marvelous. Make another one sir!
Yellowstone is beautiful &amazing show
Cool Hand Luke. First time I watched it was with my Grandma at her house. She said Paul Newman could park his shoes under her bed anytime. Hilarious and I was in my teens.
THIS IS HILARIOUS KEVIN COSTNER IN DIFFERENT FILM CHARACTERS GIVING US A DESCRIPTION FROM HIS. POINT OF VIEW!!
An American treasure!!!
Untouchables!
Outstanding in interview default about Yellowstone how great it is to be back.😊
Open Range is one of the greatest western movies of all time. Boss and Charlie are two of my favorite characters. I love that duo.
22:14 - 22:53, Kevin Costner explaining why I should get over the GoT finale and move on
I wonder if Kevin ever realizes how great he is. Not people telling him how great he is. But him just sitting or standing there and knowing he is that damn good.
Loved Yellowstone Kevin, you were great. You are the ❤ of Yellowstone
I put Open Range just a notch below Tombstone as my favorite western. Robert Duvall is a great compliment to Costner.
Kevin Cosnter is filming Yellowstone in Montana. about 20 mins from were I live. some of my family have seen him
You should drop by and say hello
I so should :)
Diann Jessop think of a good line from one of his movies like the convo they opened up about.
Diana... "step aside"! In Open Range when he wants to kill the guy on the ground and Robert Duvall is trying to stop him. The way he says step aside is so emotional.
Yellowstone is filmed in Utah. Still love the show
Great interview.
Never been a fan of Costner, but Yellowstone is my favourite tv show ever. And he's brilliant in it.
He is Brilliant in all of His w Work.
Honey I’m waiting!
R u gonna introduce me?
What is impressive about Costner, is that he is believable in every role. In Bull Durham, no one believed Tim Robbins could be a super star pitcher / athlete. If you listen closely it's like he's singing when he talks. There's a cadence
My Favorite Actor❤️❤️ Favorite movie is Love of the Game

He will always be Crash Davis to me. I hope he still is in touch with Nuke laloosh and Annie Savoy.🤣🤣
You are a dedicated cowboy in every sense of the word we love you, Kevin dear.
Wyatt Earp!! Awesome movie. No Tombstone but it was great !
Yellowstone is Mr. Costner's best work!
Yellowstone is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Class act and genuinely nice bloke, i bet he has so many great stories.
Remember Fandango...he was a baby....love him
At about 3:50, Costner is talking about a great minor leaguer stuck in the Oriole’s farm system. I believe that he could have been referring to Roger Freed. Primarily an outfielder, Freed actually played 25 games at third base for Stockton in 1968!

À quand saison 4 et 5 sur Netflix. Merci ❤

Excellent show
It is, but why was Eisen doing a Jimmy Fallon impression here 9:01
Kevin Costner is a movie star.
Too cool for the room.
love this man
Interesting that Costner has more hair now than he did 20 years ago
What a great guy.
I know I’m late to this but we are all just gonna ignore that Kevin called “For Love of the Game” a non-baseball movie “Perfect World”?
I thought he was gonna tell a Clint Eastwood story (director of Perfect World) and then he starts talking about Vin Scully.
Costner's (Crash Davis') monologue at Susan Sarandon's house in Bull Durham is my favorite.
For Love Of The Game is an underrated sports movie
