Hello Sir, my dad owns Citroen C5(Shine) and we live in Chhattisgarh. The nearest Citroen showroom is in Kolkata or Hyderabad and on our first service Citroen service car came all the way from Kolkata to Chhattisgarh to service only our car cause we were the only owner of Citroen C5 till November and the service was done in October.

I agree, right now they are investing and hence can afford to buy tickets etc. wait for 2 years and the true service will start. A 40lakh car breaking down in ladakh is a bigger issue.

Hmm..but companies generally know and are able to predict ki kitna sales hone wali h. Citroen ne slow start kiya h toh unhe expectation v esi hi hogi. Maybe they will pick up pace later. KIA k paas hyundai ka support tha aur MG invested heavily in marketing. I think Citroen is taking it slow with less investment on marketing.

The new facelift coming soon in next year which would be complete feature loaded car, that missing right now, but can be avoided if practically think over comfort for family.
Boot space is immense no worries atall , even roof rails functional
The car has ADAS and dashcam integrated in outside markets should be brought to INDIA
Headlight throw very good, very wide
I purchased the C5 last October, such a pleasure driving the vehicle, especially on highways. Kudos to them and also thanks to the Ministry of Roads for taking up the development seriously. Quite a few good roads in India to ride such vehicles. The C5 literally glides and gives a very comfortable ride.

I bought this car 3 months back and I can tell you that this is the best 5 seater car I have ever driven and at this price poin no other car can meet the driveability of this car. Also it's build quality is very good and so far I am completely satisfied with my decision. I have driven almost 3000 kms in these 3 months and it works best on highways.
Seriously but 35-40 lakhs for a five seater didn't you find it too much? Asking genuinely.

There are only 2 drawbacks with Citroen C5 Aircross:
1. Lack of Petrol Engine: City based drivers would miss this
2. Lack of 4WD/AWD: This is must for an SUV over the fake compact and mid size SUVs. Something which has 4WD/AWD is a true SUV.
3. Maybe lack of some premium features.

That goes by you're definition of an SUV. Most of the SUV have Diesal engines and they are good. The reason brands like Chevrolet, Ford, Fiat left is because of the second point you mentioned, I'm sure unless you offer Indian market compact SUV with good budget and good features brands cannot survive in India, People really dont care about AWD, 4WD as majority won't do always OffRoading only few people are exception. Brands like Kia, Hyundai, Maruthi and Tata are ruling is because they offer MidSize and Compact Segment SUV with lot of features and budget friendly.
You can never become a high selling brand if you focus only on 4WD/AWD for every SUV as very limited people have necessity todo and they are most people just enjoy driving in city/highway roads.
true tucson is a better choice in this segment or one can buy fortuner

It's an overall over priced and overestimated product. Can't fathom why they are going gaga over the product when he has driven Fortuner and Endeavor. There is simply no comparison. I have driven C5 and it lacks horribly the power of both and features are not something you would be proud of. Wonder if this is a paid Owner's review
