Seriously the C3 looks beautiful. The interiors are unique, the handling is decent, and the 1.2L seems peppy. But the amount of cost-cutting Citroen has done is hilarious. I believe Citroen is too confident that the design of the C3 would attract Indian buyers even though some basic features go for a toss. Let's see once the prices are out!

They did lose out in recent decades against better financing and strategies of others. In 70s one of their cars crossing the Sahara had run out of engine oil. The drivers filled both with bananas that had become overripe due heat and used it as lubricant. With a prayer they succeeded in crossing the desert safely. It was a fantastic story of its time and allowed Citroen to win myriad fans.
actually you have combined 2 videos here...while sharing Tyre related details, you have used another car having alloys in it. That can be identified from alloy/wheel cover design only. well nice detailed explanation

All this at an affordable on road price and service cost. If you buy the diesel model you get mileage and power as well. Now Maruti has stopped manufacturing of Scross, you may get only available stock at dealers. New variant of Scross in India has not been informed yet, so may be in 2023 only. Go for new Brezza.
I think Citroen made a blunder in terms of strategy. First they launched bit overpriced(though good one) C5 which they pitched in luxury segment which is overpriced than their competitions. Now they launched similar themed/looking fully cost cutting/ bare bones vehicle called c3 which is cheap in every way. They have de valued C5 by launching c3. What they should have done is put a fresh design into Creta segment where they can attract customers by their clean look and good driving dynamics. This lower segment will invite more haters than satisfied customers. People buying in this segment create lot of noise for simplest things.

Best review so far. I had really high hopes with this car, was disappointed when we saw it, but after your review i can understand the focus. It would have been a great buy for a first time car buyer for me who is young and has restricted budget but wants good performance, but no automatic makes it difficult to reach such audience. It could be a good fit for many people i know who are a family of 3-4, are comfortable with manual, value performance and are not concerned with features, use it mostly for office commute and weekend knickknacks. Only problem is if such people are ready to trust Citroen with the networks and services. Thanks for the elaborate review.
This is the Citroens entry level car in India. In the price sensitive Indian market they have done cost reduction, but had delivered the most comfortable ride in the segment. At the end of the day this is what matters. If you are not tired after a long drive, this car achieve its purpose. I also like that they stick to basic features to offer the best price. I hardly touch electrically adjustable mirrors in a month. So such omissions are justified. Though I prefer dual focus rear view mirror which helps to reduce glare in the night. Then how often we drive long time during night.
Practically speaking... 5.5 to 6.7 lakhs mei iske saare variants cover ho jaane chahiye. Isse upar ex-showroom price jaate hi log dusre achhe options le leinge. Koi jyada features mei difference to hoga nhi base aur top model mei to itna hi range justified hai.

Turbo petrol cannot be neglected. Also turbo petrol combined with very good steering feedback, overall car's ride quality cannot be compared with NA engine and commuter tuned suspension. So 8.5L for that Turbo engine is not bad I think.
I think price would be the deciding factor... Not all are going for features.... Basics are all well in place...engine performance, comfortable ride, sufficiently spaced...

8.5L on road for turbo variant with steel wheels is what I expect. A wagon R costs 7.5L. So I wouldn't mind buying turbo petrol at 1L more.

Turbo petrol cannot be neglected. Also turbo petrol combined with very good steering feedback, overall car's ride quality cannot be compared with NA engine and commuter tuned suspension. So 8.5L for that Turbo engine is not bad I think.

I think price would be the deciding factor... Not all are going for features.... Basics are all well in place...engine performance, comfortable ride, sufficiently spaced...
