Hi, hope you feel better now. I broke my 5th metatarsal bone from base( zone 1) but it's not completely broken one chip is broken, it's been 10 days in pop cast, I'm on painkillers but still I have pain in foot, it feels like someone is grabbing my foot. How was your experience? Plz reply
@@saimasamar288I did feel some pain, so I applied ice packs wrapped in a towel to the outside of the cast. It was about 3-4 weeks for my pain & swelling to reduce. When you get your cast removed, be prepared for your foot and ankle to be very stiff and weak from lack of use. There will also be layers of dried skin on your foot where the cast was, which will gradually clear up as you wash your foot regularly. If your doc refers you to physical therapy, they will usually teach you flexing and strengthening exercises to unstiffen your ankle, foot and toes. I hope you recover soon.

i just got out of surgey yesterday it’s my 1st post surgey and now it’s starting to hurt but thanks to pain med it’s not that bad

9 days in boot so far. Foot all bruised but swelling is down.
Been in a boot for 5 days can I go back to skating it was 99% healed last time I had went for X-rays witch was 5 days ago as well.
what happened to you as of now? have you recovered?

i just got my boot and it has ben 3 wees i hade a rab on it on i was on cruches and i still on the chretes with the boot i fell bet with it

only few percent, mostly it needs surgery
