NG+ have a new mission and some of their older ones changes that it becomes an entirely different mission altogether, it basically changes the context of the overall plot, and then NG++ has just gives new mission once you get both endings, this is a game meant to be replayed, and it incentivizes it by giving you new stuff that you may not get in your first playthrough, so even if the story doesn't interest you, you should still replay, some of the subtle changes in dialouge might even intrigue you.
Even though the actions in the story only change the endings, new playthroughs do add more layers of depth throughout the entire story. That and the logs scattered around the missions provide a very deep and interesting story, and one that makes you _feel_ stuff if you put any amount of personal investment into it. It's amazing.
my dude you're gonna have to go back on so much of what you said at the end when you play through the next two playthroughs. I'm happy for you because I think you're gonna get what you want out of the story once you've done all the missions... also spoiler: more than just "the final few missions" change especially NG++

And by the end of chapter one i grew even more curious as to how the story would evolve from then on Just a esplendid story to me Maybe my standards are too low or somethin but damn i loved this story so much.
The story does more tell but the dark souls brand is still there. You will fight characters that you will know nothing about until you read up their profile in the arena, find the corresponding data logs and even listen to their dialogues if you fight them without just killing them in one hit with the pile bunker. Suddenly there's this whole new layer of history to every character and overarching plot. Heck, even the trailer has characters that is only mentioned in the game once or twice but are important to the story arc of the player character itself.
For the Full Story You Need to Play Through the Campaign 3 times and Then You Will get The True Ending + True Final Boss. The game is 3 Times longer Then You Think It is.

Our gen 4 augmentation that involves coral, is the reason she is able to link up with use when we get caught in a bunch of them. (Spoilers) Its also why Iguazu (also a gen 4) hears a ringing with voices in his head.
Keep in mind SPOILERS he mentions in the final fight with ALLMIND/Iguazú when Ayer comes in to aide you, “YOU’RE the voice inside my head, I’ll silence you!!” So it was Ayre inside his head.
yeah I think Zit misunderstood this part of the story too, the Coral is not the original inhabitants. also for that matter the Rubicon Liberation Front weren't on Rubicon during the initial Fires lol
Easily biggest surprise of the year. I don't like mechs, I am bad at bullet hells. And I nearly platinumed this freaking game only missing S rank in all missions.
On the story part. It is lacking in depth. I kinda like that about ac. Ds was always super convoluted to me and you get most of it from item descriptions. AC is a lot more... direct, you dont need to go to a youtuber to tell you every lore bit you got wrong or right. Also "bad ending" is how they put it but I think its more pragmatic vs hopeful ending. Then the third which is so crazy its worth running 3 times.
I agree that Fires of Raven feels less bad and more pragmatic, but it's pretty hard to deny that the alternative is clearly the intended good ending with how the final couple missions go. The whole vibe of that side is so comparatively upbeat even with a few betrayals. The true ending though, that to me feels like the real bad ending. Whether you think what we did was right or not, the final line before credits rolled was a pretty clear indication this was not the potential utopia it might initially appear to be
You don't have to get the 3 endings to judge the game, but... you DO have to get the 3 endings to judge the STORY, the story is good, it's not an interactive movie like what Sony likes to make, but it's got a good story that you can only understand completely if you get the 3 endings
Xbox One S here with no frame drops at all. Beaten NG++ and onto S ranking now and around 2/5's done. Such an incredible game. I hope they give 6 the A4 treatment and that the AC franchise keeps going strong.
glad to see someone else enjoying Armored Core. But I will say this: if you think the customization is stupidly good in AC6? oh BOI have you not experienced the older titles. I mean sure graphic feudality isn't as good and sure you cant choose how much grime/rust/paint scratch is on your mech but you would have like 3x (and I'm not kidding) the amount of available parts at your disposal. and it still kept the colouring details. custom decals etc. Having said that. As a long time AC fan and player (been playing the series ever since its first release back in 1997) and the great reception the game has been getting? I hope that Armored Core becomes a more regular release from FROMSOFT and we can HAVE the level of parts and variety that the older games have once more. Welcome to the ranks of a select few.... "If you can't outgun another AC, you ain't getting far in this game". Wrong. Someone beat the game without firing a gun, excluding the stun Needle for THAT boss. Just fists and AB kicks (plus AA expansion). For the first mission he didn't even think to empty his gun to free up his fist. AB ramming the f*cking helicopter to death.
Most people are not the same level of God Gamer Zero Lenny is. I dont know where he got the adamantine will he has, but that Ibis fight was a testament to the humam spirit.

Because as Zero Lenny showed us, you do not have to outgun your enemy. Just punch, kick, AA, and use the stun needle for that one boss.
@@kinorris1709 unless you're someone like Zero Lenny, you aren't getting far in the game without outgunning enemy AC's. It's possible, sure, but most people don't have the skill or determination to do what he did, so no, they have to stick to gunning.
@@alastor8091 You underestimate the power of melee. Fists can build stagger and even extend stagger windows. And having tested "just fists" you could feasably win alot of fights like that, since the minor stun they do to most enemies is actually enough to stunlock them. He actually stomped alot of AC fights and did really well against most bosses because fists are actually kinda viable when you build around it. AB kick can build stagger. AA can build stagger and does massive direct hit damage. What I'm saying is that you really don't need to outgun things. You don't need guns to win. He managed with just fists, feet and AA, and breezed through most of the game. Going in with an actual melee equipped, or a double melee, with the right hand and shoulder slots empty would be pretty viable for alot of fights.
@@kinorris1709 melee is God tier, every build I make has some form of it, bit the skill required to us bare fists most people just don't have. Lenny makes it look easy.
You HAVE to unlock all endings to experience armoured core 6. There are a lot of different missions and old heavily altered missions. Also you missed the best bosses alongside best weapons in the game.
I agree with you that the story is definitely not the strong point…but I actually didn’t really like the story until my second play through. It’s drastically different and fills some gaps…not gonna front.
So when just playing trough the game the story appears shallow but there is definitely a hidden depth granted it’s not as interesting to find out as souls imo but to say it’s not there just isn’t quite true.
The NG++ boss is def bullshit it just throws a bunch of enemies and previous bosses at you to wear you down and THEN you fight the boss. Encourages you to just make an AP build and ignore getting hit

The NG+ and NG++ routes happen to open up with new decisions from the beginning of the runs.
It is *sincerely* recommended to do repeat playthroughs.
I am at the end of ng+ play through to the end you will see the différences.

You can't judge the story on just NG run. That is only 1/3 of the story. The other 2/3 of the story is in NG+ and ++.
Other then HDR being broken and I had to turn off G-sync, the game runs great on PC
