As much as I love the game, I can't call it perfect. The locked 30 fps, emotes that you can't disable, and farming for blood vials hold it back. Sekiro and Elden Ring on the other hand? You could call those perfect.

You say that every attack of promised consort is adaptable, yet in your footage you haven’t dodged the double slash once. I know it can be dodged if you stick to his outer side next to his right leg, which I have done sometimes actually. That being said, you can’t always be in that spot when you fight a boss that has a lot of dashes and teleports. The double slash is disgusting and cheap and almost ruins the boss for me. I’m not saying it makes him entirely bad, but you’re biased against this boss quite a lot. I’m confident that double slash and the meteor phase 2 attack cost me more deaths then waterfowl and it’s not even close.

Its been 6 years since I played bloodborne I am still trapped by it. Simply the greatest game I ever played.

The woman talking during the cutscene at 41:45 is not Maria. It's probably taken from one of the villagers in Fishing Hamlet whom you can hear mumbling amongst themselves after you defeat The Orphan. Maria and the Doll have a distinct accent and therefore her voice would be pretty recognizable.

This game really is a master piece. I like the size of space games like star citizen or elite dangerous. In star citizen you can look at a random part of a planet and go there while finding a group of people role playing massive ship to ship combat. In elite dangerous you can look at a random star and go explore it.

to put the old hunters in the same category as this masterpiece is a disgrace

Shadow Keep might be the best legacy dungeon from software has ever made. Blew me away multiple times. On par w leyndell for me.

I definitely agree that Fromsoftware is the best game developer today, maybe ever. The only other that I can think of this century is Rockstar but they spend way too much time between releases. Fromsoftware on the other hand has been knocking out masterpieces every 2-3 years for over a decade now.

One detail that i don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about is that lore wise the rally mechanic happens because you absorb the blood of your enemies into your open wounds. This is why it doesn't work with ranged attacks.

I solo’d lord of frenzy in 7 tries I beat promised consort in 5 tries it’s not that difficult imo that one tap stuff tho idk how I lived with 1 hp but I clutched it out.

No, the fact that theres an easy spot to farm blood vials does not make it better or good. Its a system from the stoneage, period

Last boss is easily. You just need to spec into fingerprint sheild and giard talisman with new heavy lance set to bleed. 2 head turtle, guarde boost, golden braid. Block and win. Your old healing points are now times to unvlock and regen stam. Do this and win easily. Its bad designed that this method is so easy but if you complaind about bleed builds having to adapat you cant complain about this.

I have only one problem with bloodborne, the dungeons at the end of the game. The ones with the second amygdala boss. I found those dungeons so so repetitive it hurt. It almost put me off going for the platinum. Other than that its perfect

the best part of the dlc for me was finding out that they added 1 thing…. the deflecting hardtear, it changes the combat so much. My fave from game is Sekiro so it was a nice change of pace, wish I had the guts to beat the first furnace before acctually fighting any bosses as the tear is really good if u played sekiro, rather than getting it so I could beat Consort.

Radahn absolutely input reads, during his Lion claw slam if you're aggressive, low health, or use a flask, he'll do the follow up. If you don't, he won't. Sorta same with his big 5 hit on the very last delayed attack he sometimes does, but this feels like it has more factors

I like DS2 and played it at launch for PS3, but it's easily the game in the series that would get the most out of me if someone asked if I liked it It makes me wonder how many of the issues with the game would feel less weighty if ADP didn't exist, not that the other issues would instantly vaporize, but how much would it feel more like Lost Izalith did for DS1 instead of feeling like Shrine of Amala Ivory King's DLC was one of the bigger highlights of the series at the time, besides the place we don't talk about, and it really embodies that 'sky high highs and pits of hell lows' vibe

And you will know what direction to dodge the attacks, not just spam roll everything if the attack is too fast or the area of attack is too wide. Very unreasonable hate. At the end of the day, it all ends with GIT GUD!

I just beat the game today. I’m a beginner souls player, started with demon souls ps5 as my first and elden ring as my second. I wanted to play bloodborne because it’s so hyped as the best fromsoft game. Overall I liked it but it was just okay. the graphics are unbelievably poor, even for a ps4 game, I could hardly make out what I was looking at half the time. and the chalice dungeons seemed really out of place. I went until lower pthumeru layer 4 but then stopped because they just seemed so removed from the main plot and kind of pointless. I also didn’t love that healing was made a consumable potion that you don’t really ever run out of, but I guess it’s tied to the whole blood ministration thing so I get it, but I prefer the limited use mechanics of elden ring. I loved the trick weapon mechanics though and the aesthetics in the world and with your character was awesome.
