    Question on the aluminum shims...do you find that the aero bars slip on bumpy terrain or are the shims solid when using the aero bars? Are you converting from 25.4mm to 31.8mm? Thx in advance.

      Yes on both counts, they're solid when tightened and I'm going from 25.4 to 31.8mm.

      @@robfox1789 There's an aluminum shim on Amazon that's ribbed and claims to have better friction and less damaging on the bars. Gimmick or do you think the smooth bore shim is the way to go?

      @@wilfredwong1980 I never saw any damage to the bars, and if I were concerned about that, I'd consider ridges on a shim to be more likely to cause damage. When I did this video there were very few options so it's good to hear that more options are available.
