Let's not forget that in Sweet Home, people are also having their humanity chipped away at by the monster infection. It all starts with a nosebleed, and the voice in your head. And you transform into a monster slowly. And who's infected is also random.

I honestly can’t pick😖 with sweet home anyone can turn into a monster but in homesick you can be at risk by someone trying to eat you so their both very scary.

I just watched into the wild last night and I finished sweet home a couple months ago.as a 17 year old outcast in school what they’ve both taught me is that happiness is only real when it’s shared

Sweet home
In homesick during your period of infection your still human, all you need to get rid of an infected is a weapon, but in sweet home once someone is infected, their transformation is unpredictable, it could happen in a day or an hour and yes they can still be killed but, is it really that easy for someone to kill their friends when they can still beg for their life.
In homesick you can kill an infected, they are not your friend or family they are just some monster that poses a threat to you and would eat you in an instant, In sweet home, you know your friend is infected but they aren’t exactly doing anything to pose a threat making it so much worse when you have to kill them as they are as terrified as you.
In both homesick and sweet home you can randomly get infected, but at least in homesick you can hide the infection by just eating people in secret (I know how stupid that sounds but to be fair these days most people keep horrible secrets) which is terrifying for others, but in sweet home, the second you get a nose bleed or faint then at that point it’s hard to hide the infection from others (also imagine how much it would suck for someone with lukemia as they could be infected or just having a normal reaction) and the second you show symptom you never know who’s plotting to kill you to prevent you from turning.
Oh yeah and if your thinking you can hide the nosebleed and fainting, think again in that world your spending every moment of your time with teammates as you know safety in numbers which means the second a symptom appears, everyone probably saw it.
Another terrifying thing about sweet home is that their monsters are worse, both worlds have monsters but at least in homesick most of them look like backround monsters, in sweet home you have monsters that can run faster than your car or strong enough to break down concrete walls and lift semi trucks, and heck a literal blind monster that’s hideous and can kill you in an instant.
Speaking of which every monster in sweet home and homesick looks terrifying, sweet goes just has an added hideous effect.
In both worlds they have horrible people like criminals runnng free, so that something they have in common
In homesick there’s one special infective which makes it scarier and in sweet home there’s multiple special infectees like depression guy (hyun su), multiple personality dude, and a woman who still thinks her dead baby is alive so at least if you have mental disorders like that you have a chance of being special infected.
