  • We install MAXICarbon inner side fairings, winglets, and dashboard cover. The inner side fairings and winglets are the first production MAXICarbon pieces installed on an RSV4! It took lots of fitting, but eventually we were able to get them fitted properly. The side fairing and winglet are supremely complicated pieces so it was expected fitting was going to be necessary. Once the items were fitted we see a significant visual impact and we can now prepare to install the graphics.

Hey, Ive used MaxiCarbon on both my RSV4s and the quality is first class. The fit does require a tiny amount of tweaking but does not compromise the bolting on. I absolutely love their parts and their service is superb too.

Agree with their service and overall quality. Definitely seen better but I’ve seen a lot worse that’s for sure and for RSV4’s the options are limited anyways. Thanks for sharing man.

Nice video… cool garage setup… and sweet bike outcome! Just make sure whenever you grind on carbon fiber you utilize a good respirator or fine particulate mask. You don’t want to be breathing in that dust. You got to that part of the video and I was like “nooooooo”. Anyway, keep it up!

Thank you! I used a respirator when I would use cut off wheels or other grinding stones. The clip I showed in the video was during the moment I was using a carbide bit which doesn’t produce much dust. I wouldn’t want to produce a lot of dust next to the Aston anyhow. Appreciate the comment and concern.

Fit and finish looks solid after all of that work.
Dry carbon also looks good with the satin black.
Now you could rest 😂 back is probably done for LOL

The matte carbon for sure worked out. Definitely like how you don’t notice it too much. But yeah my back is fooked 😂.

Dude nice job! Glad I stumbled upon your video because I wanted to get a current gen RSV4 but the aero just looked cheap. I'm gonna do all the basic carbon + winglets and then slap some BST wheels on her. Eventually I might go full ohlins but that would be down the road.

Appreciate it, thank you! These Aprilia’s are cool bikes but the aesthetic definitely leaves a lot to be desired. A shame because the riding experience is fantastic. Your recipe for carbon and some BST wheels is a pretty tough combo to beat. Even better with some OHLINS. Thank you for watching and commenting! 👊🏽.

Thank you! They sure are. The acceleration on these is just unbelievable. Power in any gear and any RPM. Glad you are enjoying yours. 👊🏽.

Not at all as that’s impossible but just want others to know the product is what it is Chinese low quality are u getting the stuff discounted or cheap as u seem to be their fan boy ? I’m just a man who’s friend purchased items and they were very poor quality it’s just the other side of the coin so future buyer can see both verdicts of maxi carbon products and reviews and the fitment of your own purchases looks poor and I realise carbon parts may need some manipulation but maxi carbon more than most

So, what’s more reliable? Your anecdote pulled from wherever you pulled it from or my video that shows the finish, the construction, and the fit of the product?
There are multiple indicators pointing to these parts being manufactured in Germany but even if they aren’t, so what? You ever look at the factory fit and finish on an Aprilia? Those parts have “made in Italy” stamped all over them and yet their fit and finish is trash. So does it really matter where a part is made? The fit and finish is either trash or it’s not. Simple.
The fan boy thing 😂😂😂. Always funny when somebody loses an argument and goes straight to personal attacks. A very skilled attorney once told me; “If you don’t have the facts, attack the person”. I paid full price by the way. I don’t think if I was paid for this video by Maxicarbon I would clearly point out fitment issues.
It’s okay man, next go around I’ll be sure to purchase the part from Ilmberger even if they don’t make it. 🤭.
