Quick heads up, if you're going to send your GoPro below 20 or so feet put it in an armour case. I had one fail while scuba diving around 65ft without a case, it performed fine on the first 2 dives, on the third one it leaked and the GoPro and battery were ruined by the salt water. Those crabs looked soooooo good!
Found your channel a week ago, and you are instantly my favorite channel/producer on the internet! Love your attitude and care! Keep up the good content.
I wonder if that little cove was Salt Lake/McNichol Creek. Used to be a swimming hole a little further in. People used to go across the harbour to that lake all the time. Beautiful spot.
From adventure show to cooking show. I like them both! You got balls going to places you go ..... thanks for making the videos. ..the food sure looked unique, the video ended before we got a report on the taste. THANKS FOR POSTING
Dude! Hanging out and adventuring on the west coast is the freakin best! The wildness of the rainforest and abundance of food makes it magical. Dungeness crab is also a major plus. Probabaly my favorite crab. Hopefully you can prawn some of those delicious bc spotted prawns. They are so good it’ll blow your mind. Cheers!
Welp. The crap trap footage is nightmare fuel - but actually the underwater footage is amazing! Living off the land is definitely knowledge most of us have lost as we developed into a convenience-based society. Thanks for the education! We are surrounded by edible plants and animals here in BC, most of us are just blissfully unaware. Love the MoHo Cookin Show segment! During early COVID, my bf and I got obsessed and binge-watched the reality show "Alone" (most of the seasons take place on Vancouver Island and near Great Slave Lake) and literally that was the first time I learned what a limpet was - I've lived on Vancouver Island/Lower Mainland now for 11years (previously from the Kootenays) and assumed they were just a snail/barnacle type of species that covered the shoreline and had never heard the name before haha.
Ok that's it. I totally watch your video the second I can . It's my fav now. This video is FANTASTIC. Showing my 9 year olds too. Love the respect for the villages.
@@Destination_Adventure I subscribe to a channel where I literally watch a guy mow fields. Trust me. Upload the video, people will love it. The underwater fishing camera is hilarious, and also frustrating knowing how many are down there just looking around, laughing at our feeble efforts to catch them.
Dude. That first fish you caught, it was a bullhead. That's a bait fish. You want to catch big fish? Put the bullhead on your line and cast out! P.S. My husband reminded me to tell you to either put the hook through your bait fish's lips (top and bottom) or put the hook through it's spine. In either case, clip the lower fins so it will smell wounded to bigger fish. The big fish will smell the blood and come running to suck up that little fish. You can then suck up the big fish, and the circle of life continues.
You really did not need so much chicken, also the cod head would work great in the crab trap, You will have a wonderful sea food dinner. Enjoyed the underwater filming.
All this delicious cooking, underwater GoPro fishing and crab trap footage and the lonely hovercraft was forgotten about. You found an abandoned hovercraft! How cool is that?
Your videos are great. Great production value. Living the life. I'm living vicariously through you through these videos. I especially love it when you visit abandoned or forgotten locations. Keep it up.
In the Bella Coola disaster, your Honda OB was giving trouble. Then I saw you had an Evinrude. The Honda wasn't repairable? Traded for the Evinrude or just junked? Curious that's all. Hondas are usually pretty reliable.
Cannot stop watching this videos, you literally take us along on every adventure and being from Saskatchewan we do live vicariously thru you. We are now planning our 3 week adventure in the spring to explore BC. Starting in Prince Rupert and make our way down the coast
Keep up the great work. It keeps me inspired to hike fish explore camp etc. Love that we aka you go from hospitals to barges to hovercraft and cook all along the way.
Great episode man! Loved the go pro clips of the crab traps and on the fishing line. Don’t know how I have never bumped into you over the years exploring BC
I would quite happily watch a whole hour of food, foraging and adventures. Also you have the most amazing eyelashes! How have I only just noticed this? Keep up the wonderful work dude x
Only crabbing I’ve ever done was hand line w/ a chicken leg tied on. Pulled up hundreds of blue crab one at a time. We ate like kings in the Louisiana swamps that night.
Another great video. Loved the fish/crab cams! Your content is improving on every video, but it was never bad to begin with! Loved the music with the trap video at the end!
How odd. I just noticed while driving by an abandoned industrial era building in south bend Indiana, a couple days ago, a abandoned hover craft. It looked very much like this one in your video. What are the chances
Great video man. Told a bunch of my friends about your channel. Been watching your videos for 3 years or so and love them all, can't wait to see you venture across Canada to find interesting things. I know probably take awhile cause there's is so much to explore in b.c . Peace, once again love you videos. Keep up the great work...
Everything about this episode was great. That fish and crab looked amazing. Was the fish as good as it smelled??? Maybe you need to post the crab pot footage, I'd watch it for sure.
Moving to BC in the next few months, hoping to find some of the beautiful places in your videos... thanks for the cooking portion, only complaint is your dungeon needs some battery operated spotlights lol dollarama sells some nice 900 lumen ones for 4$ nice and bright for that kitchen :P
As soon as I saw the tail plane I new that was a personal hovercraft. I had the chance to buy one like that in the late 80's. A new prop was way too expensive tho.
I had to laugh at the amount of chicken you put in a trap, so you could ‘forage’ for food 🤣 love it!! Keep up the good work. This was another fun watch 😁

Well done. I lived in Rupert for ten years and now except for the rain I kinda miss it now. Any plans on exploring port Essington? It's got a lot of history you might be interested in. Ask anyone in Rupert where it is.
Hahahaha really left you hangin on that one. I felt bad about that at the end. I hadn’t realized I’d get so creative with the rest of the meal. The fish was quite nice :). I’d would prefer it just fried, but I had to incorporate everything so that was the best I could do I think.
Damn man, never even showed the fish. With the salmon berries, I think I would have made a hot salmon berry sauce with some raspberry balsamic vinegrette to put on the fish.
I went to port mcneil in 17, first time ocean fishing caught big halibut n ling cod, lots of rock cod, seems like the uglier the fish the better they taste
The under water footage was so cool…loved that idea! Don’t forget to update us on how that fish in seaweed wrap was!
I love “later dude” as you throw that undersized fish back. Living the dream out there!
Amazed at how well your go pro rig on the line worked! Using proper cameras for that can be tough but you got some good footage on that!
All free, supplied by Mother Nature, well done. Enjoy
That dinner looked amazing.

pretty sure without case they are good for 30ft.

Hi Dustin, if you are still up north near Prince Rupert. Check out New Ayansh, north of Terrace for some amazing and deadly natural phenomena.
We do this in Northern California. I am the only one I know who cooks limpets. Nice work
I was just down at Ukee/Tifino and ate my first salmon berries. YUMMMMM
Rushbrook! I am sorry to have missed meeting you.
may i say, the go pro fishing line is hilarious, especially seeing it rock around on the bottom like this.
It was Brillant!
It got hung up a few times, and I was worried she was a goner. So fun to watch tho.
Great episode man! Loved the go pro clips of the crab traps and on the fishing line. Don’t know how I have never bumped into you over the years exploring BC
You need one of those one wheel skateboard thingies that are battery powered. Perfect for getting back to the landing etc after dropping the RV.

Great vlog.....again. But cheap canned cat food works for crabbing, the chicken looked pretty damn good. Peace
I love your enthusiasm.Great channel. Kudos on respecting what might be someone else s claim.
That one crab that fell in first. Hey does anyone want some free chicken
Feast time Big time. Great episode.
That was Awesome ! and educational. and that meal ! ! Wow. 👍👍
Those underwater shots were sweet!
Watching u gets us disabled people looking forward next show.
That outboard on the beach looked like a fish skeleton. Great vids Canadian Bruv! (Washingtonian here)
oh crab! greeetz from Finland bro!

That fish carcass is your crab bait . Throw your trap out again for over night and the next day probably twice as many as you had first time
Dustin, your vids just keep getting better and better.
What camera went under water? Looks like gp9 black, mine says not waterproof. Lol
As always man.
Awesome job.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Put it to work👍 nice videos btw👍
I loved the crab cam/fish cam! Another great video, Dustin! Also, was that hovercraft a Windcraft?
Now that was a great episode! Great underwater footage!
Great video. Food looks great and adventure looked like a blast. Living the dream. I’m so jealous.
The fish you caught is known as a "Tommy cod". Not much meat on them but if you fry it in butter they are so tasty.
Sure wish i liked crabs lol
Somehow that doesn't sound right lol
Great video !
We need more moho cooking episodes.
What an amazing find and crab day! Would love to see the full crab basket video, you should release it with some background music.
A tasty video🦪🍤🍣

You know you could have just eaten the chicken and shrimp right? I know, I should just shut up! :)
About thirty bucks worth of chicken in that trap, five bucks a crab?
Love your underwater views, very cool.
Really cool vid of the fish / crab cam ! Keep doing the cooking part as well
Loved the underwater footage! We met you tonight in Cow Bay, you’re awesome!! Can’t wait for the next video
Enjoyed chatting with you guys :)
YUM!!
Great video. I'd love to see a video where you're wearing your jeans over your Dunlop boots, they look awesome with pants over top.
So good I really liked the under water shots
THAT WAS ONE GOOD FISHING TRIP !!!
Hey did you find a BUG OUT Spot yet ???
I’ve been there as well!! You’re visiting all my spots 😂
Another great video those limpets things kinda resemble scallops i wonder if they are in the same family and do they taste at all like scallops.
👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟👍👍
I'd say, that meal you made there, would cost......$30 plus in a restaurant
Man that was a good little video I cannot believe you don't have more comments than this I don't know what these people are doing
@Whoop!
Duuuude.. I always wanted one of those
That's where I left my hovercraft sure was a wild night when I lost it 😂

It seems counter productive lol. I buy expired chicken for really cheap for the traps. It’s usually offered at grocery stores by the ocean.
