The fact that game companies are so afraid of their workers unionizing, and hire people who specifically make it their business to make sure that the workers do not unionize, is a sure sign that they should definitely unionize.
I hope they add Ubisoft to their hit list....
It's in French so no.
Unfortunately DFEH is American, not French.
Listened to the podcast, came here to see Woolie's face at 24:43. Expectations exceeded
Pat really reached a crescendo here didnt he
This so sad. Alexa play "Blizzard in Summer"
Blizzard of Ozz
Dice doesn't get enough credit. They're pretty dope. wish they did weird cool shit like mirrors edge more often
when it rains, it blizzards
I wanna see a video where it's just Zangief in pat's shirt and woolie talking. Pat you can retire and switch off with your son!!!!!!
I know you did it Minh.
I live for Pat's energy at the end lmao
It's truly poetic irony that a game company that won't stop burning is called Blizzard
"Listen guys we are working on Warcraft 4!" former founding member of Blizzard yells as he is thrown into a paddywagon.
Thanks for covering this dudes
At least pats dog is cute
Pat getting to happily rant about the /spit fiasco was 11/10
Jeez Zangief grew quickly
I'm not entirely sure, but I think that if they actually deleted tweets that could be seen as trying to destroy evidence, which would make things even worse for them, legally speaking.
Gief is so cute.
I'm definitely not giving Riot a pass, but to be fair... I literally didn't know shit about the Cosby stuff until the big knowledge bomb dropped about it
I love animals zangif was perfect
I don't think they're legally allowed to delete the tweets at this point if they're this deep in the investigation
I was fired from climax games on a Friday just after lunch time with no warning or reason given, I was told to leave now & that I wasn't allowed to talk about it to anyone. I later found out my manager didn't know I was going to be fired & asked around the office for what happened to me. This was on the 17th of May 2019 & I've never talked about it publicly before.
5:16 for Zangief face
Woolie's life is being drained by pat in this one lmao
Holy hell that last bit about the spit emote is insane.
Come for the Wool, stay for the dog.
2:33 I remember there being a joke about Bill Cosby in Drawn Together back in like 2004.
24:55 Woolie's expression is something that cannot be summed up in words
The N Pass, now sponsored by Blizzard
Blizzard should probably just rename themselves "Rain" at this point.
I lost it at Woolie walking off
“This entire company must be purged”
You have to wonder what happened to these people. Like what leads to unironically comparing themselves to Bill Cosby and such. Where did the introspection go?
George Rockall Schmidt has a video about how getting rich makes you evil according to research data. It's pretty eye opening about WHY rich people are scum.
as a gamer "of a certain age" all I can really do is echo Woolie's sentiment and say -- classic~
I want Blizzard to burn to the ground and all the CEOs/Bigwigs to be broke, sued, and incarcerated. I also want the employees to find better, well paying jobs where they’re NOT r-ped and abused, more than anything, but MAN it’d be great if everyone involved in the abuse got THE WORST possible outcome.
Damn, WoW gives you the Npass on chat, now that's a selling point to their players :D
Other MMOs: Season Pass
WoW: NPass
Buscemi is a good egg. He used to be a firefighter, and apparently he suited back up on 9/11 because he was in town that day and it seemed like the thing to do?
Has there ever been any good company that avoided unions?
I think they did find a way around the emote ban, but yeah, better protect their dear paying costumers. Can't let this TOXIC harrassment continue a second longer! The N word what, what is that, it doesn't exist, just don't spit on paying costumers, ok?
i dunno, both sides sound like they're in the wrong.
@@miguelnewmexico8641 yep that's pretty much the point!
Clearly the N Pass is absolutely essential to truly immerse players in the classic wow experience
“I have faith in three game companies, the Three Bs.”
and it has come to pass in the fall of Blizzard empire burning
in ash and ...
the land of WOW has lay in a wasteland and its inhabitant
have fond a new home in final fantasy 14
_From this seal shall arise the doom of men, who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our flame as their own._
_Blindly they built their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit._
*_Now, they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control._*
There is no huge law firm that's "for" union busting. These are gigantic groups that handle all sorts of law. It's understandably pretty sketchy when you see groups like that involved but that isn't how this works. These firms have tons of lawyers across many departments for ENTIRELY DIFFERENT law practices. If they were hired for one thing that does not mean the union busters in the firm are involved necessarily. It doesn't mean they aren't either, but yeah a lot of people are showing a lot of ignorance of how law firms work. I promise that once you get on the scale of company even remotely the size of ActiBlizz every single law firm they employ for any reason will have parts of their practice that does shit you won't like.
Burn, Baby, Burn!
The Centralia of company fires 🔥
If you don't want your employees unionizing, treat them well enough that they don't even think about it. You know, do the bare minimum and maybe a little more and keep working on it.
If you're good at software development, please work in anything but game dev. You'll make more money and have less crunch.
Blizzard never stopped burning after when they denied a person human rights....
Burn! Burn! Rage of the heavens!
Burn! Burn! Death from above!
Die! Die! Merciless killing!
Burn! Burn! Death from above!
