Most of the people who are judgemental about this have never worked in a restaurant. They only think kitchens are as decorated as Iron Chef, Chopped or Hell’s Kitchen lol. These guys have no clue whatsoever.
Think about the kind of person that would have ANYTHING negative to say about this fine guy and his fine establishment. It makes you wonder what kind of a hell they must be living in .
I hear you. This is a guy who takes a few minutes to share his busy life with us, years of experience with cooking these timeless dishes, cameraman, an obviously well loved kitchen, his understated sense of humor and love of life and what he does, and we whine about the details? Get over your bad-self.
i have refrained from commenting about this channel's disgusting lack of hygiene and the absolutely shit-looking appearance that the food has out of respect, quite honestly i wouldnt feed any of this shit to anyone not even a convict and if i saw a chef soaking his finger in the food to taste it id just leave and never set foot in that restaurant again i worked in a restaurant for YEARS and am experienced enough to the point where i have been a chef specialized in meat and pasta dishes for about 3-4 years now, that said your comment was so full of shit that i had to comment and let it all out it is no exaggeration to say this stuff is absolutely disgusting especially to hygiene-sensitive people who expect their food to be clear of random bacteria, that restaurant wouldnt even be allowed to remain open where i live because its hygiene standards are nearly non-existent at this point and even the government would judge disgusting and inappropriate the complete disregard for the consumer thats going to eat the food only reason im even here is im curious you are stunningly full of shit if you claim that actual experienced cooks shouldnt be disgusted by such a kitchen and such lack of hygiene (especially since its coming from the chef himself)

Love Daddy Jack and glad I can still find him on RUclips where he will live on forever! RIP big guy!!
Josh said "Yup" before Jack could finish his sentence.
Joker Toker LOL
lolaoalla hahahah that fool was lurking
Josh was eyebanging that steak
no disrespect at all intended, but when i see a fat chef i'm like, yeah, boy!! this is going to be good!
@@SupremeChimp what makes you say his food is trash? It generally looks pretty fuckin good bud
@@SupremeChimp You gotta point. That meat luckily qualifies as choice.
You can't trust a skinny chef
SupremeChimp “
Lol how does that make sense if anything it would imply they have lower standards.
miss him a lot. been watching his vids for awhile. only chef that dosen't have spotless pans. i know he really cooked and used these pans . i had always hoped to go north and eat at his place!
I learn SO MUCH, every time I get to see you make it look easy! Thanks for sharing! Your friend from Texas. I went to Submarine School in Groton, btw. Worst winter I have ever experienced!
Thanks Jack for all the recipes and inspiration you have given.
I first cooked your baked ziti recipe 3 years ago and loved watching the way you cook and explain what your doing.
Wish there were more videos like this on you tube..
Please do more videos and ignore the fools that criticise. Id like to see one of them cook a dish from start to finish 😂😂😂
Thanks again Jack
Tried your recipe the other night. Turned out incredible. was going to use a Filet Mignon but saw you use the Ribeye and so opted for that....absolutley outstanding through and through. Thanks from Montreal
Most of the people who are judgemental about this have never worked in a restaurant. They only think kitchens are as decorated as Iron Chef, Chopped or Hell’s Kitchen lol.
These guys have no clue whatsoever.
@@talenjay1 lol certified chefs stfu. Where did you get your "certification" LMAO!! Thanks for the laugh buddy.
Get over your bad-self.
would i be judgmental to advise that"judgemental" is spelled with only one e ?
i have refrained from commenting about this channel's disgusting lack of hygiene and the absolutely shit-looking appearance that the food has out of respect, quite honestly i wouldnt feed any of this shit to anyone not even a convict and if i saw a chef soaking his finger in the food to taste it id just leave and never set foot in that restaurant again
i worked in a restaurant for YEARS and am experienced enough to the point where i have been a chef specialized in meat and pasta dishes for about 3-4 years now, that said your comment was so full of shit that i had to comment and let it all out
it is no exaggeration to say this stuff is absolutely disgusting especially to hygiene-sensitive people who expect their food to be clear of random bacteria, that restaurant wouldnt even be allowed to remain open where i live because its hygiene standards are nearly non-existent at this point and even the government would judge disgusting and inappropriate the complete disregard for the consumer thats going to eat the food
only reason im even here is im curious
you are stunningly full of shit if you claim that actual experienced cooks shouldnt be disgusted by such a kitchen and such lack of hygiene (especially since its coming from the chef himself)
So sorry to hear that Daddy Jack passed away. I loved this video. He made this dish look as easy and uncomplicated as when I saw Marco Pierre White make this on You Tube. There you are, Daddy Jack, you can talk to MPW when he finally gets up there ! Only a few chefs can make things simple for us home cooks. They look like they're going slow, but everything is in perfect sync. God bless you, chef, from Australia (New subscriber).
I love watching these classics. Daddy Jack was the best of the best.
Best steak recipe I have tried hands down, forget all the others, this is where it is at.
U just cook the steak and then put cream in the rendered fat bro
Black pepper to taste
@@allgonoemo4217 This is not what he did bro.
**muawh** “delicious” needs to be a meme immediately
He is a talented cook. His videos are always interesting.
Love Steak au poivre. Thanks for showing this. I don’t get out much anymore so I can do this at home. 🥰👍👍
I never met him and will always miss new Uploads of him but I keep rockin your old Uploads. So kind and calm and such a pro old school Chef, top Notch. RiP Daddy Jack and much Love from Germany, Marc in 2022
I can't stop watching this channel. It is cool to see how a restaurant works, especially a 2 man kitchen.
i miss ol daddy jack's videos!
Sheer accident I found this video, boy are you a great cook!
Live long and prosper.

I just want to say how much I enjoy your videos. For a while I thought you were not on utube anymore . Glad to see you again .stay well and keep cooking . i love your recipes.
Love passion finesse technique and style often imitated never duplicated daddy jack you where one of a kind peace and love to your family you are surely missed by chefs and the community at large
Some times I think my kitchen is a mess then I come back to this video and I find some comfort.
I agree ribeye steaks are the best, I really enjoy your video’s and dinning in your restaraunt is on my bucket list
You would probably enjoy it even more of you were Dining, rather than Dinning....
Miss you Jack.....I and other people learned quite a bit from you. Rest in Pease .....
Met Jack in the early 1990's at his place in Dallas. Best crabcakes ever. Sad when he moved north, but at least his recipes stayed at his chowder house. RIP Jack.
Dynamite watching you chef. Brings back great memories of my restaurant years. Cooking is a great skill and gift from above.🥩🥩🥩
I miss his content, he always kept it real and honest.
I wish i lived near this joint, i'd be eating there every week. That cook got passion for cooking.
Dude licked the gravy off his finger, dipped the same finger in the gravy and licked it again.. and then put salt and some other shit in there with the same finger. The secret ingredient is Chaplin's Spit
I've watched every one of these videos many times. I miss watching you doing your magic. Rest easy, Chef.
This guy reminds me of cooks I worked for 60 years ago. As people say, "It is what it is." No subtlety. I do what I do. Neighborhood chef. Period.
Wherever this guy is, it’s as real as it gets.
