- The journey to acquire Dr Doom from Dark Dimension 4 is ongoing and I'm showing my progress in Dark Dimension 4 so far. I'm not in a crazy rush to acquire Dr Doom so I'm choosing characters that'll offer great benefit in other game modes. There's a couple characters I'm going back-and-forth but it'll depend how my gear farming goes in the coming weeks.

Definitely! I took Mr Sinister, Thanos, Hela, Minnerva, Symbiote Spider Man, Punisher, Ebony Maw, Phoenix into DD3. As Ice Man X said, it's best to overlap characters into all 4 Dark Dimensions as possible if you haven't started any of them. Since I'm always keeping up with the current Dark Dimension, there will be less-than-optimal characters I bring up to a certain tier level but that's why I make sure they are great characters that have good value outside of just Dark Dimension.
I took Sinister Ghost X23 SSM Thanos Zemo Proximer Minne Cull AV Scream Night Nurse Phoenix Maw... Just hit people up who has went in are look at the leader boards look for the common denominators those characters will probably be good in any DD
@@icemanx5085 I'm less war focused so didn't go with X-23 but your X-Force must be killer.
@@PioPicoPlays I didn't really do her for war I actually use her in some Raid situations she is like a side healer for me because she is so fast she heals her self I give her healer iso and she throws around regens all over the place
What do you think about black widow or Hawkeye for skill gear? Prox and zemo are good outside of dd but how useful do you think they are in dd4? Those are the four I'm considering because I have so much skill gear
Going into Global without Ghost is doable but it'll take you longer which is fine since Global nodes tend to be easier than Cosmic, City, Legendary nodes. I had to wait a couple weeks after I completed Global before I was able to enter Cosmic, so you theoretically would be fine if you went with Black Widow, Hawkeye, Prox and Zemo. I haven't heard of anyone that brought Hawkeye so I wouldn't recommend that. Black Widow can be a good choice sine she has low gear requirement and her abilities (speed up, stun) can be helpful even without Hawkeye. Zemo has fantastic usage outside of DD4 especially in War Offense to land key ability blocks. Proxima and other Black Order members may be less optimal choices for DD4 since Black Order is slowly phasing out of the Arena meta. Reason why people chose Proxima and other Black Order members is to pump up their characters' power level as high as they could for arena. However, I found Proxima's offense down and stun helpful to get me through Cosmic at a pretty decent rate.
Legendary doesn't have great viable skill characters so I would recommend choosing 4 skill characters across Global, Cosmic and City nodes. Based on your preference, I can see 1) Black Widow - Global, 2) Zemo - Global, 3) Proxima - Cosmic, 4) Punisher or Night Nurse - City. In the end, I went with Punisher instead of Night Nurse since he has less gear requirements and I'd be able to start City nodes quicker. Just keep your characters at gear tier 12 until you are sure you will bring the character to gear tier 15, so you can make last minute decisions if needed.
@@PioPicoPlays Wow, thanks for such a thorough and thoughtful response! Great advice, I will bring up black widow, zemo, proxima, and night nurse in that order. I'm about halfway through my second run of dd3 right now, so I'm just preparing for dd4. By the way, I have heard of people using hawkeye in dd4, I'm not sure how they kept him alive, but apparently his mass blind with ghost's extension can be pretty effective. That said, he does seem like the least useful of the skill characters mentioned.
What do you think of using silver surfer in cosmic? I'm thinking of trying him there, once he gets his speed up he seems like he could be pretty good. Plus he'll probably be on my arena team anyways.

@@wraith55 Good point about Ghost being able to extend the slows and blind that Hawkeye applies. If people brought Hawkeye into DD4, it's likely because he has cheap gear requirements but he doesn't have great usage outside of DD4. He's on the Wave 1 Avengers team in war but that's about since he doesn't have good raid viability in the endgame Doom raids or Ultimus 7 Difficulty 5 raids.
While I haven't used Silver Surfer firsthand in DD4, I have heard he is great there. He is costly with 72 cosmic gear pieces but I can see skipping Thanos (54 cosmic gear pieces) and going with Silver Surfer. If you go that route, it just means you won't have as strong of a Black Order. But yeah, Silver Surfer will likely be in the new arena meta so choosing Silver Surfer instead of Thanos can work out great. And my pleasure glad my content is helpful! :)
Man planning is everything in DD4 we are virtually in the same spot but we made different choices so we got different issues... For me IW isn't a option based on the choices I made... Jubilee is a God send she probably be my last legendary... I love hearing people thought process to this.
That's awesome you're having great success with Jubilee and there's a chance I still may choose Jubilee over Invisible Woman, since she'll help me with Doom Raids which our alliance still hasn't started yet. I kind of wanted to save that orange gear to bring Emma Frost to tier 15 for the second run of DD4 but realistically we will get lots of gear from the first completion of DD4. With the announcement of Silver Surfer, it may bring up Invisible Woman's viability outside of DD4 since she'll pair well with Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer. But definitely Jubilee is a fantastic choice and much better than what people expected.
@@PioPicoPlays we tried the Doom Raids one time and got killed lol... I am still in Cosmic so I haven't got to Jubilee but with the choices I made.. I just need to get these two city Bio characters done.. Maw is done Pheonix is almost done... All my tech is going to Doc Oc and my skill to Night nurse and my Mystic to Doom my Mutant will go to Jubilee... So whatever I get from my first run will go to Emma and Silver Surfer... I can say every character that I took to DD4 has been great characters... Night Nurse will be the worst one that I am taking up.
@@icemanx5085 So you're taking Night Nurse instead of Punisher. After I published the video I was reconsidering bringing her to tier 15 since I brought her to tier 13 (back before I realized tier 13 isn't worth the stat boost for the gear spent) but I'm going through DD4 Cosmic nodes much faster than I expected so don't want to hold myself back for too long to start the City nodes. I've heard nothing but great things about Night Nurse's rework so your "worst" choice is still great considering she may be essential for whenever they increase the next City Challenges tier.
@@PioPicoPlays yeah I have to i don't use Punisher for nothing so he wasn't a consideration for me at all... I was going to take Merc LT until I was playing RTA and someone had a loaded out shadowlands team and they just pull apart one of my favorite teams... So I was like yeah Night Nurse is going to DD 🤣🤣
@@icemanx5085 I watched a video by Philosopher and he made great points about Night Nurse being a top 10 character to invest in for March so I’ll be looking to upgrade Night Nurse to tier 15 now :)
