I want to convert my website as an phone app. Currently for android. Because I saw the fees on apple dev. Are Apple users more willing to buy? That would interest me. Unfortunately, I lack experience in this area :) Best Regards
Yes, if you already know it, no if you are starting from scratch and have to learn it. I would go with Kotlin MultiPlatform if I need a cross-platform app.
Ask yourself why you need iOS and Android. Doing both greatly increases the amount of work for a solo dev. A better strategy may be to focus on iOS. Get it working, get it shipping. See if it sells. If it doesn't sell, move on. Don't make the Android version. If it sells really well, then consider doing an Android version, or getting someone to write a port for you.
Thanks for the great video 😊 I have a question and would like your opinion. Why is the “My Location” app marked as Rejected? What are the typical things to consider by dev submitting their very first App so as to not get rejected?
How can we brainstorm and generate new innovative App ideas? I consider myself a good developer, but I always struggle to generate App ideas which is the most important part of generating revenue from indie app development 😶
I hope I am not rude but I have to give you some advice. You are pronouncing some words wrong and it's annoying. When you say words that end in an "ed" like asked, the "e" before the "d" should be silent. It's more like askd, not askEd. Used is yusd, not yusEd. Condensd, not condensEd. Things are not written the same way as they are pronounced in English, unlike other languages.
@@AivarsMeijers I have no desire to be a teacher and the masses have no shortage of english resources. That does not mean that I can not correct you when I see you make a mistake over and over. You decided to do something that requires good communication skills. I thought you would like to know that you are communicating in a way that is incorrect because it can stop you from being more successful.

I love the recommendation to not get bogged down with a backend
I'm too busy (or lazy) to build apps with a backend, and I guess that most of the beginners shouldn't as well :)

I appreciate the video and you talking through the tools you have shown in previous live streams.
Glad it was helpful!
Which of your apps generate that kind of revenue if I may respectfully ask?
Thank you very informative for a newbie in tech
Thanks for the shoutout 🤩
Any time! Thanks for the great product!

Yes, Apple users more often to buy apps
90% of your app revenue will always come from IOS.
The only thing left is to find a good idea for an application and implement it...
thanks for sharing this information
Glad you like it!
Great piece of advice 👍 Keep it simple is a good recommendation for starting app devs.
Yep, the worst that beginner can do is to start to learn fancy architectures.
Thanks for sharing! Appreciate it!

About the persistence, what do you think about using firebase to store users data??
it's fine, used Firebase in a few projects

All the things aside, you look stunning
Do you think flutter would be good for a solo dev to make apps for both ios and Android. Btw this video is very insightful
flutter is very good.

It was rejected, and I decided not to move forward with it
Great video :D
Thank you Jose!

Nice
but Realm Sync is deprecated any solutions to replace it?
ShiftData + CloudKit is enough for most of my projects
thank you
Which going to be you strategy to substitute Realm which is going to shutdown?
SwiftData + CloudKit
Good one, thank you! Is there a clone of you for android? 🙂
Maybe I will release Android app one day again.
Didn't touch it since Eclipse + Java days.
How do you plan or create privacy policy and, terms and conditions for your applications?
You copy them form another project, that’s how everyone does it

I consider myself a good developer, but I always struggle to generate App ideas which is the most important part of generating revenue from indie app development 😶
Create something you would use yourself.
Look at the apps you use, work out if there is a way to produce something better.
Check this video to learn how to find and validate app ideas: ruclips.net/video/McBPyKX7HkM/видео.html
Good job.
Thanks!

Is core data no longer an option?
It is. SwiftData is just a layer on top of it, and it is way easier to use and implement in SwiftUI Apps.
Скажите пожалуйста, а вы случайно не обучаете ios разработке?
Nope, I'm teaching only business part of iOS development

If you have perfect english, you should start creating content and tech it to wider audience and not just to me in comments.
