I absolutely love mine. 2010 with 235,000 miles. Very capable off road and we’ve owned it for 8 years and put the last 140,000 miles. Zero issues so far.
Very good review, you also did your homework and know that the FJ is still on sale in some markets (while the autopress keeps parroting that the FJ was killed to never return). Very professional indeed. Cheers

Everyone complains about the visibility in an FJ and I really don't get it. It made me so paranoid that I asked my dad to drive mine home the day I bought it. Then I actually drove the FJ and wondered what on Earth everyone was going on about. I tow a 22-foot trailer with mine and have had zero issues. I use the stock side mirrors and have been just fine. I've towed my trailer from Atlanta to California with no issues. *knocks on wood* My big boy Samson is full white but he's not a trails teams edition. Don't ask about front brake calipers, let's just say, keep 2 a year stock in the garage. If you know how to drive, there are not blind spots. So if you off road, keep starters, and alternators in stock. Every 50k miles, expect to replace the water pump. Expect ghost codes, issues with the hvac and emissions, and fuel injection systems, expect rot on the inner front fenders, firewall , fuel tank straps and frame. Don't expect any kind of fuel economy, or help from toyota corporate when a 30 year customer who has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over three decades dealer purchasing and religiously servicing all the toyotas I've owned when the 2nd transmission in 102k miles started slipping again, combine that with drive shafts issues, rear diff issues, oh yeah, and the front diff actuator needed replacement. Jealous of your 2013 TT. I almost bought one myself and kick myself for not doing it. I like the solid color as well as the two tone. I feel like the 2 tone gives it a bit more character and has a more original look but in a way I agree that solid looks better.
