@@JangoTheBlueFox I collect Hot toys (not Sideshow),love what they do,yes they surely could be cheaper!,i also collect Mezco (before i started with H.T),& have thought about this for an age now,1/6th scale quality on 1/12th scale is so achievable now,but you have to think about the fact that if this figure (unlicensed!) costs $100 dollars,then HT should cost about $200 or under,trust me on this i wish that was the case! Lastly,the quality of smaller 1/12th scale has in part been driven by Hot toys,but yes i would love to collect everything HT does in this scale,would be so much easier

I'm tempted to get this figure because I love the look of Venom Snake. Theres so many little details but it also feels overwhelming at the same time. The shrapnel sizes being able to change is a pretty awesome detail too but am very afraid of having it with my carpet

I’m always amazed these figures are 6 inches tall. The level of detail, the fabric clothing,... in my head it’s as big as a Hot Toy. And then the comparisons and, nope, Marvel Legends size.
I think there was a re-relased of this figure, cause i just got mine and the horn is already attached, there are no extra horns and i have a straight shooting hand, also, the pegs for the hands are different

I'm really impressed by this figure from a third party. The negatives such as the hands and weak plastic used in weapons can be easily fixed with future releases. Definitely a company to keep watching. The likeness and cloth in this scale is great. TBH it blows my mind they decided to do THIS particular Snake instead of a fan favorite like Solid or Big Boss. I'd definitely buy one of those if they ever release them. Raiden would be insanely cool but I doubt it.

KG Hobby sent mine to the wrong address, it ended up in New Jersey (I live in Utah). Luckily they are sending me a new one. But boy was it disappointing to see that "Out for Delivery" notification only to see it being in a state nowhere near you.
I ordered from them too, and I'm hoping it was sent to the right place. The usps said it was supposed to arrive Monday, but it's being called late. I'm really hoping it's fine and nothing wrong, just the USPS being slow.
@@simplyhoodie As long as your tracking shows its in the correct state I think you'll be good, Monday was the same day mine was to arrive as well. Luckily KG Hobby has really good customer service they got to me the next day and said they'd send another figure.

Finally sorry to spam so many comments: regarding the shrapnel. The more evil you play in-game, by killing people instead of simply putting them to sleep etc, the longer the shrapnel becomes. It's based on the idea that the character is becoming a demon. The design is based on an Oni, Japanese demon in folklore, and the belt bit hanging down the back is actually meant to call to mind a demon tail believe it or not. The chicken hat is something the player can wear if they keep failing their missions- it makes the game easier while wearing it!
Veno- er I mean Poisonous Reptile is my favourite. The interchangeable shrapnels are kinda important imo since it's shows how arbitrarily "good" or "evil" you want him to be. I'd probably use some kind of glue when I get him since I would only portray him as a good boi. Is the soldier decal the same size as the box?
