I forgot how the head originally looked on the ML Punisher. I did what Mezco did and shaved the sides down along with the bangs. Repainted it to match the stubble and BOOM! Season 1 Punisher.
For some reason, this figure made me think of Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver. Maybe it’s that big jacket? Anyway, it got me thinking how awesome a Robert De Niro Taxi Driver Mezco ONE:12 figure would be.
I just got into Mezco with their Absolutely perfect Crow figure, and I'm looking into their other stuff. I'm with you I preffer my superheroes in Plastic, because you can get the sculpted muscles but some stuff just works better with soft goods!
You need to open MORE Mezco Robo! Great vid man! I'm honestly thinking of getting this one, looks great, a little restrictive in some areas. but it works for what it is. The head sculpt and skull are seriously great, but that skull just pops, they nailed that!
Can’t afford hot toys but mezco does an awesome job I help my son collect marvel legends we are on the 82 figure ,that mezco punisher would look nice on living room ( if I was divorced) lol
Great review sir! The vest actually has more than enough give to remove, tried it on Gomez, to see how that looked, not too bad. I was wondering, have you tried removing any of the necks from a Mezco figure, if so, how without damaging the body, would love to put Frank's head on the Commander Roger's body

Punisher is the best show Marvel produced. Shane is dead. My boy is Frank not Shane. By the way Robo is the absolute best toy/figure Commentator in the business. You are the best Robo.
I love this fig but IMHO its pretty inexcusable that they did not include and rifles or shotguns. This is Punished. Load him up. At the very least give us some of the existing molds from other figures even if they're not an exact match for what was used in the show.

@@ROCCOTHEGREAT if I can find it cheap enough I will,Don't get me wrong I have already bought my first mezco figure this year, it was logan a couple months ago it sold me on the line, would've bought more already but marvel legends are bringing out so much good stuff this year & I've been getting all the sh figuarts dragon ball figures this year excluding event exclusives, than there's just so much other great figs out its hard to be a collector in the best way possible.
Yeah it's time for mezco to have an evolution better articulation. They used double elbows on oldman Logan, so I know they can do it. The single elbows not only dont function, they look bad. Shoot I remember playing with 12" gijoes that had the same articulated elbows 25 years ago. And on top of that the female body needs a total overhaul full of doublejointedness. But all in all great review robo. I was on the fence on this punisher, but not anymore.
I agree!.....and a side note for your review get out the comic marvel legends Luke Cage and the Bald head(goateed) headsculpt from Mezco John Stewart and show it on Luke it looks great!

Whenever he goes iver a transformation on a TF, say an Optimus where the legs turn into the truckbed and the steps are the same, hed do one leg and say "second verse, just like the first" meaning everythings the same steps. Longwinded explanation but I hope it makes sense. Lol. Great review BTW, this is an impressive figure.
Dude what a bummer with the articulation with this, and a lack of shotgun. And with the vigilante Daredevil. Mezco dropped the ball with these. They have to drop those single jointed arms

Agree about the jacket. It’s one size too small. Also, the vest is surprisingly easy to take off and on.

The no double jointed elbow take a big hit on the cons side of things. But the look is great.
