In this video, we tear apart a pair of Cole Haan loafers that we purchased from the local Goodwill store for $15. Are Cole Haans worth the money?? We'll discuss. We'll also give this pair of loafers a complete overhaul and make them look much better. Time for another restoration!

I'm a watchmaker and don't really have an interest in shoemaking other than an appreciation for your craft. You opened my eyes to all that entails. Thank you!

My favorite part is applying the cork. Love the shoe.

Love to see old things restored. Had no idea there were cobblers these days and I'd love to hear how you came to be one😊

Can you start a series about good will finds? I like the idea of finding a good pair of boots at good will for a good price.

I have a Cole Haan with that same kinda sole......just disintegrated when I was using it after 2 years in the cabinet.....watching your channel inspired me to re-sole it rather than just chuck it.....bought Vibram soles....had it resoled and it's a 100 times better than my old one....safe to say won't be buying Cole Haan's anymore.....they were actually my shoe of choice during the late 80's and 90's.....how sad that their quality has suffered

Incredible job Trent. Nice touch with the blue soles as well, it really adds class. Sadly, the restoration needed probably took them back to the way CH shoes were originally made. And, at first glance when Heath opened that Factor meal I thought it was the cork. Any one else?? 🙂

You missed putting the stamped circles on one of the soles

Those turned out pretty cool! Have you guys ever considered selling your own line of modified/improved shoes?

Great video, so cool to see the down and dirty manufacturing, so nice to see you bring it back hand built.

One of the biggest "bangs for your buck" is conditioner. Too bad more people don't use it. Anyway, I enjoyed watching you transform these shoes, and thought the blue sole was a great touch!

Going to shoe repair shop was my favorite thing to do as a kid and I still love going. I just dropped off a Hobo leather briefcase tote that needed to be re-dyed. It was conditioned and dyed and it is gorgeous. I missed taking care of my father's and brother's dress shoes. It is a a wonderful ritual/task.

Love the sounds. I can even smell the leather. Takes me back to my childhood when my dad would take me to Juarez to get his shoes repaired.
