I had always assumed that the distorted voiced Samuel hears in Die Rise were the voices of Richtofen's previous crew(s) who didn't make it and were trying to warn him.
something you got wrong is that the zombies are sentient. they just can't speak with anyone who doesn't have a connection to the dark aether. this was revealed in the song "carrion" which is the game being told from a zombie's prospective.
@@lilhossoman9 "carrion" is the song in tranzit. "carry on" is the song after beating the BO2 campaign. The song from tranzit is the song I'm referring to. Why they decided to have 2 songs that sound the same but spelt differently in the same game I do not know.
The zombies saying Sam came before her. When people interpreted the noise as the name Sam treyarch thought it was funny and actually added a Sam to the storyline.
Hey BOA, I’ve got something bugging me. I’ve been rewatching your “Story of” videos (awesome videos btw) and it got me thinking when you were talking anything about Division 9 or about Takeo. But what did Takeo do to deserve being betrayed? Did he know too much or did the emperor just not like him? If you could answer this, that would be awesome.
How come the zombie characters know how to use guns from almost 100 years in the future despite the ultimate crew being from the 1940s and the primis the 1910s its kinda confusing tbh
I would imagine their knowledge of weapons in general helps, as well as perhaps the effects of 115 help them on a cognitive level. Tho it effected most negatively, perhaps it helped boost those skills that just build. Someone once told me, that when he went down to Panama he had to constantly think of the language, but after doing cocaine in an alley with his friend, after he came down, was able to speak it fluently like a 2nd language rather than just knowing it
Do you remember when you had to constantly think about doing something to learn it, and use it in the beginning, but then it became natural and even helped you adapt to other skills without having to think as much? It's like that. He knew how to speak it, but he couldn't speak it like a second language intuitively, but as another language he studied and practice that he could speak. Basically turning it from an active ability to a passive. Instead of having to use antibiotics to fight something, his mind worked like a strong immune system and fought the infection effectively and passively so you wouldn't notice.
@@zandonleliot5171 of course. I'd even think about it as a car from the early 90s to a 2023 vehicle, most things are gonna be similar such as seatbelts, a wheel, brakes, acceleration, ECT. But with futuristic weapons, there would be little things that would be having to be learned, so they probably learned that off panel/screen. There also could very much be an adaptive system in the weapons from the future therefore making it easier for the weapon to be worked easily. Like a smart rifle, controlling everything, but I imagine it's just simple. As much as things change, they stay the same.
The zombies aren't brain-dead. They are still fully aware of everything going on like in the last of us, or half life. They have no control of themselves, and they can barely talk, unless they're like Brutus where they're manipulated. but they are still there. George also wasn't killed I don't think, I personally believe he was just bitten somewhere and then was infected with some zombie thing.
In Die Rise I beleve zombies make those noises as they try to talk but half of them are missing their lower jaw so they aren't able to speak fully. (Or their vocals have been bitten off)
I heard sam blow me and i think they say les goo idk but i heard a zombie said something like that. And when i was younger when a zombie said sam i thought it said sea 😂
Richtofen being the one who says he lies actually does make sense, it could be that hes talking about maxis and what hes having you do for him, he might have been trying to tell stuh that maxis is lying so he would get the group to start doing the easter egg his way
@@spacemanproductions1843 it would make more sense that he is hearing the zombies, especially since this map was right after having the tranzit secret song revealing that the zombies are still conscious but not in control

I have a question. So in Bo4 the cycle was "broken" because both primis and ultimis are dead, but if zombies is truly set in multiple multiverses then the cycle would only be broke in the bo4 timeline, and not in all the other timelines and multiverses. Plus, in other multiverses the outbreak might not have been started by the Germans in ww2 due to the tearing of 115.
This gets my fan fic mind thinking it would he cool in the next zombies game we could play as a fresh, sentient, zombie who the other characters can’t understand unless your playing as the zombie itself or someone who has a connection to the Dark Aether. Most likely one granted control by some Dark Aether entity
Given the events that happened in Die Rise or more specifically just before. That 'Save me' and 'He lies, He lies!' May very well be Samantha Maxis final last words through the zombies to try and warn the player Ultimis Richtofen cannot be trusted

It’s the zombies talking. Cus of the dark eather. In blood of the dead ending the zombies souls are released. It’s most likely the zombies souls are still there it’s just they can’t have control over their bodies but they can spurt out words asking for help and to put them out their misery.

On tranzit when you pick up a perk zombie richtophen clears his throat and say sorry just getting used to being an eater or in aether but he ends it by saying it's a horrible choice
Because it connects you to the Dark Aether and Element 115 and since Richtofen was the one controlling the zombies during Black Ops 2, eating zombie flesh would grant you a connection to him. That is why the Flesh could hear him too, this is proven by one of the radios of Die Rise where a woman was very concerned and worried about what to do and said **The german man stopped talking to me**.
