I like the way that metro differentiates the passenger train and the service train the first time I saw one was at Ronald Reagan airport and I had no idea what it was but now I know that when I see one it’s bound to not stop at your station!
When I was walking Tours the The North bound at the that tunnel At 7:18 at the front of the train, and the train is approaching this station those thunder switches are LOUD!
@@NTxRE yeah we just named it under out name tbh to prevent confusion from other RUclipsr's and we are looking to produce more videos outside of the UK so it is better to keep it in our name.
I know it’s been a while, but if DFW area had a Metro system like Washington DC’s, with lines running underneath the freeways, I envision a massive transfer station like L’Enfant Plaza being under the High Five Interchange
I'm extremely excited about the D2 project for just this reason. Those LRVs look great underground, and the extra stations will be a lot of fun to see.
This was actually filmed in 2018. Turns out, I was just there on a slow day. I'm from Dallas, so that kind of train frequency is crazy to me! I will return to film when things are back to busy to see how it really is.
This is a true fact about DART: At least 6 - 11 years ago, Dallas Area Rapid Transit had 2-slot SLRVs. That means DART didn't have the trains you see today. With 3 slots. On October 2009, DART began to have the 3-slot trains, and when they had 2 slot trains, you would see 3 car trains on all lines (Red,Blue,Orange,Green). Now, since the cars are bigger, they only have 3 cars on the Green Line because their stations are the only stations that can fit 3 cars. You might not see 3 cars as often, but there has been some. On the other lines, the stations can only fit 2 cars. The other lines also do 1 car. Green never does 1 car. Or at least I know it hasn't) When DART had the 2 slot trains in service, there was also the 3 slot trains in service as well. This comment was a true fact for anybody who didn't know. If you know these facts, don't you dare send hate to me.
I think about a minute or two, I can't remember without pulling the raw footage. I'll usually cut it shorter if it's more than about 10 seconds with nothing going on, I want to keep things interesting!
I will never ride DC metrorail again. The attendants are clueless and rude and the trains are disgusting. Crackheads even do and deal illegal drugs in the trains and on the platforms.
I love the yellow paint scheme on the service train, it reminds me of the old airport lines trains on Septa
No better way to decorate them! Too many people thinking it's a passenger train I suppose

The yellow wrapped cars at 7:46 are the money train
Indeed it is! Someone else beat you to telling me, but in any case I'm glad I know. Thanks for chiming in!
5:24 Hey look, a renovated Breda 3000!
7:50 look MONEY TRAIN. it has 4 cars on it, look carefully
Great departure, greetings from the UK
Glad you enjoyed! Greetings from, well, North Texas! Sometimes I wonder if I could have done a better job naming my channel. Oh well!

7:26 you can hear the station announcement ring chime
Nice!
You forgot about Gallery Pl-Chinatown. It serves green and yellow lines on the bottom and the red line on the top
I would have visited more stations, but I was pretty strapped for time. I had a plane to catch!
@@NTxRE maybe do this when you don't have a plane to catch

the only problem with that is when you leave the station, you'll be in the middle of a giant freeway interchange with nowhere to walk to or go lmao
You missed the pre Covid surge of passengers here . It’s insanity when it’s packed

3000 series metro Silver line ashburn
why does L'Enfant Plaza look exactly like Metro central

You're right! They've gone through a couple evolutions of those vehicles. Interesting history!
@@NTxRE Indeed! When the Silverline comes out, will you film a ride on it? (Since it's nearly out)
Yes, you are correct!
@@dfwrailvideos Thanks for the feedback! I I got these facts from videos about DART 6 - 13 years ago.
How long was the train actually there?⏳
