Well, Konami re-released on every plateform Rocket Knight Adventure Collection and Felix The Cat Collection.

Dang, I didn’t expect a Metroidvania-esque Prince of Persia game from the Rayman devs to be one of my most anticipated games from this year, and yet here we are. Even as someone who isn’t the biggest PoP fan, as a Metroidvania enthusiast, this looks like a genuinely impressive and fun time. And I certainly can’t wait to try it for myself due to how promising the demo was.
Also, just as an FYI, the devs actually specifically developed this game for Switch and ported it to other consoles. Hence why it both runs and looks so great on it, since it was actually made for the system in mind, rather than scaled down to work on it.
I hope the game sells so well that ubisoft decides to make more prince of persia games and we might get a new 3D one
I believe a Sands of Time remake is in the works already.
Yeah they copied too many other games this is not really a sands of time game at all
I've played the demo on handheld and dock and it holds up perfectly and plays perfectly without any problems

Assassin's Creed was born out of Prince of Persia. They need to really go back to the basics of Prince with platforming. I'll take the sands of time remake, but the haters complained about the graphics which weren't that bad at all.
This game seems like the perfect blend of Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Hollow Knight. And with those being 2 of the games in personal top 10, that makes me extremely excited to dive into this.
Looks very Metroid Dread too, especially the map and parry, which is my fav game oat on switch 🔥
Don't forget dead cells too. Those Rayman devs are something else
Didn’t get to play the PS2 era games, but this one is a must have for what I see. Props to the Devs making this good looking game, I hope it sells a lot to guarantee more in this style

These games are ideal for handheld, nice to see it doesn't have any major performance issues on Switch.

PoP The Lost Crown will be the 1st Ubisoft game i've bought in over a decade
if you havent and like tactical games honestly Mario + rabbids was actually really good, and i dont like rabbids at all.
Been playing the demo and it's fantastic. Reminds me of the pc prince of Persia game but with metroid dread added to it. Can't wait to get my hands on the full game

This actually looks amazing. I love dread and ori but a lot of these kind of games don’t appeal to me but this one has potential and a perfect switch type game.

I appreciate this review. I already played some of the demo earlier but had to go to work. Going to play more tomorrow. I really like it so far and will probably get the Deluxe Edition on Switch. To anyone wanting the Sands of Time Remake... just support POP: The Lost Crown and we (the POP fanbase) will get the remake soon enough. Really! 🤙🏽

I'm going to try the demo now that it's available, but there's a good chance I'll get this one quickly. I remember the original Prince of Persia game and while I liked the Sands of Time trilogy a return to form is welcome!

I love Guacamelee! and this seems to give the same amount of combat and platform focused metroidvania goodness. It's also one of those Unity engine games that performs well on the Switch, which is nice.
This looks absolutely incredible. I just finished Metroid Dread (9.5/10 game, for sure). I'm sure Ubisoft nailed this.
i personally recommend to wait for few months before purchasing. knowing Ubisoft, they usually mark down their games 30% after 6 months and 50%-70% on their first year. (Mario+Rabbid Spark of Hope I'm looking 👀at you.)
well yeah, but physical switch games aren't marked down that much :( if only it was also on steam...
Prince of Persia is on Amazon for $35 and Mario is on sale on the Nintendoswitch store
This is one of those games I am probably going to work in my annual rotation. Can't wait to replay already and see if I can beat the bosses quicker!

I hope this game sells well so the rayman devs can finally make a new 2D rayman. I just hope this one doesnt get ruined by another nintendo hardware gimmick like last time...

Tiny correction but i wouldnt be calling this a "switch port."
The Switch was the target development platform so this is really just a native Switch game through and through. Not a port like most other third party multiplatform titles!
I am getting bits and pieces of other games that I have played in this game.
Amulet and amulet system - charms of Hollow Knight
Wak-Wak trees - bench of Hollow Knight/grace of Elden Ring
Platforming (on wood especially) feels like Dead Cells
Collecting Xerxes - feels like collecting strawberries in Celeste
Boss fights animation feels like in Metroid Dread
There is this exploding enemy in Catacombs that feels like the bugs in Greenpath in Hollow Knight
Travel points feel like Stagways in Hollow Knight
Fariba's character is like Cornifer lol
There is also this animation when you're hit and the sound is kinda muted - I only encountered this in HK
Don't get me wrong, it has a character of its own coming from the mechanics of the PoP franchise, and I cannot say that I am not enjoying the game. It is a good blend of different games and I am excited to finish. I am a huge fan of the games I compared it with - I just can't think of something unique and new that it brings to the table.
So excited for this one - Metroid Dread is one of my all-time favorites

I would rate this game so close to a 10 that it would round up anyway. It's such a well put together (arguably) masterpiece. And to hear that it runs incredibly well on the switch just makes it all that much more impressive. This game is absolutely a must play if you like metroidvanias, like Ori, Hollow Knight, or Metroid Dread. It's basically impossible to beat Hollow Knight, but this game is definitely up there. Highly, highly recommend this game to just about anyone

I was able to finish Assassin's Creed Chronicles on a handheld system I guess I am not allowed to mention here, so I think I am capable to tackle the enormous Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for the beloved Nintendo Switch.

This game is fantastic! If you liked Metroid Dread, then you will like this game. I started the game on a more challenging level, but then had to scale back to normal difficultly. It's tough, but so satisfying when you progress! Can't wait for a sequel!

8:17 The game is not a port to Switch. In fact, thats why its so tasty on Switch.
Lost me at metroidvania i like for games to tell me where to go instead of having 15 different paths where i have to guess which is the right one

Why is nobody talking about the fact that rumble is broken on the Switch version of The Lost Crown? Whether you are using a pro controller or joy-cons, only the left side of the controller produces any vibration. This is annoying AF. 😡😡😡

I’m torn.. I love princess of Persia, and this game does look amazing. But….. it is Ubisoft…. The whole get used to not owning your game thing makes me hesitant to support this company.. Not to mention their games almost always get a major price reduction around 6 months after release..
I’ll just play Alladin on the Sega.
The game was poorly tested by alpha/beta testers. You can cheat in the game, do not solve platform puzzles and only use skills. Overall, it is not an interesting challenge, and I would like to point out that I expected it to be the best Prince ever, because the three-dimensional ones did not really appeal to me with their Ubisoft, Assassin-like approach. It's a pity, 2D/2.5D are my favorite games, but this one requires a lot of polish and a lot of testing to be a reasonable challenge. Currently, it is enough to be an intermediate player to notice how trivial the solutions here are, which can be simply hacked.

Not a port. Was designed with switch first and other platforms second.
Honestly its ok but the fact when you die you have to go all the way back to a tree makes you want to stop playing or at least smash through the dialogue and avoid enemies after a certain amount of time, not explore. And this is something not talked about in reviews. Honestly wish i could get my money back and buy it on sale. I dont have time to die instantly for a platforming chance and go back 10 minutes in the map. Makes the game honestly terrible. Metroid dread was never like this and its way more difficult
