Calling Tomba a "simple platformer that will make you feel cozy" is crazy... It has a very unique quest-based progression system with metroidvania mechanics and loads of surprises.
yeah, there aint nothing simple in tomba. the quests & puzzles are frustrating
I was hoping that the thumbnail was for Isles of Sea and Sky, but Tomba looks awesome too. I have never heard of it until now. I'll have to check it out.
We need tomba 2 to be rereleased. I never played the first but I was obsessed with the second

I have the ps1 version on my Ps Vita. It's flawless as is. Although I need to whip out a guide to know what to do next often lol.

Highly recommend Tomba / Tombi. Super charming, odd little gem. The marketing for this release has been awful, but it's a really good game!
I still have the two Tomba games for the original PlayStation.
One that is "forgotten" is Fate / Stay Night, releasing on August 08th. Though that forgotten is put in brackets - as the release date was only announced today, which was probably too late to be included in this video.
Though, it can't be ignored. This is thé game that started the entire Fate franchise, and it's the FIRST official translation.
So no more downloading of the PSVita rom in 60 or 80 different part zips, or an age-old torrent, while applying a fan translation - this month you can play the official release.

I've played a little of Tomba 2 so I definitely got Tomba.
One forgotten is Gundam Breaker 4. It's a pretty big game and has been doing network tests recently with another coming up this week.
I'm excited for Uma Musume, it comes out on August 30th, I already preordered the special edition of it which has the season pass.

I am so hyped for Tomba on Switch. My brothers and I loved the hel out of that game as kids, and would play it on our play station all the damn time. I am getting it the second it comes out on Switch.

It’s been a pretty dry Summer for the Switch, but I’m at least interested in picking up Emio: The Smiling Man once I play the other two FDC games. Along with the Fate/Stay Night remastered due to just being announced to come out on August 7th.

Believe me or not, but I was outside at the beach and swimming on the ocean almost a whole day today and that was so fun! But about august 2024 what is the best month of gaming as always with a lot of already relased and upcoming games like these: Thank God you're here, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Mars 2120, Tomba: Special Edition, Krosfighter, Spark the Electric Jester 3, World of Goo, Natsu-Mon, Emio: The Smiling Man defienitily i'm so excited for Tomba: Special Edition, Spark the Electric Jester 3 and Natsu-Mon, but about of Emio when Nintendo teased it I was really sure it's Nintendo's first real horror game, but when they revealved Emio is only an Anime Detective Mystery game of corse I like Anime, but don't like they're putting scary-looking creature just for an Anime game am I the only one who feel to be scammed? Well august 2024 best game easily is a classic 2D Anime-like Platformer Tomba: Special Edition! Was Tomba Original game on PS1 or Nintendo 64 because it looks that old game? I already know Tomba is my favourite Switch game of august 2024 and that's why I LOVE this video's thumbnail and list is so good thank you Nintendo Life! 😊❤

Most of them are indie games, so it’s pretty doubtful they’ll get physical releases unless they get picked up by LimitedRunGames.

I would like to add to this list that Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit is coming out on August 8th, it's being developed by Mega Cat Studios as it goes for more of a 2D point and click adventure game with puzzles.

WHY why! my Switch Lite had to broke when Tomba is out! Can anyone relate to my case? I somehow left it on standby on some game and drain the battery to empty, and when I charge it it didn't want to turn on. I try the usual stuff hold the power button and volume thing, but it still didn't want to turn on. Help meeeee
I'm sorry that happened. You can either send it in to nintendo to get it fixed or you can buy a refurbished switch lite for like 150$ really good deals out there.
