I’m so stoked for Plucky Squire and Echoes of Wisdom! I may have to give Link’s Awakening another play before they both come out. Overall September seems like another great month for Switch owners.
There actually WAS “more than enough waffling” this time.
Disney got mad that they couldn't sue for Steamboat Willy, so they made Zelda blank in the previous video
And mad for that Epic Mickey isn't on the screen! 😅
I was in the middle of watching this and it got made private right after Alex said "Disney can't do anything to me"
Mickey got you. 🐭
🥱 🥱 😴 😴
I wish condemned 1& 2 got ported to switch and dantes inferno.
Condemned 1 and Dantes Inferno playable on Xbox if that helps...
Bakeru deserves a physical release.
That was a fast reupload 😄 I could only imagine why.
I am excited for at least 4 games on this: Bakeru, Ace Attorney Collection, The Plucky Squire and ofcourse the Legend of Zelda.
What a Switch consuming month it will be.😅
Jeez, this is such a stacked month. If I had nothing else to play, I'd probably buy most of these! Sadly there is just not enough time for everything.
That MvC Collection is looking real sweaty, in a good way. Lol
Is it just me or did I hear "Street Farter" during that list off of all games included in Marvel vs Capcom fighting collection 😂
9:17
03:58 I do think you know this already but just in case here's a reminder:
Changing your key binding is baked into the Switch itself and can easily be done from the system options.
Dit is recht voor zijn raap
delete a game from your switch every time he says there's a demo on steam
It's so annoying. I'm looking for SWITCH games. If it's on Steam I'll play it on Steam.
i'm excited for Fitness Boxing Feat. Hatsune miku(Sept 5), Epic mickey, mvc collection, and loz
Got excited to see a new video hoping it may be an Emio review, but it was just a corrected re-upload.
Nah, Alex. You want to play the original Ace Attorney Trilogy and THEN go to the Investigations Collection.
Super excited to play Investigations and Echoes of Wisdom. May also check out Elsie and Reynatis as well.
I'm actually REALLY interested in Reynatis
For the record Lollipop Chainsaw is and always was an amazing game! It is refreshing to see beautiful characters like Juliette coming back to gaming in remastered form!
Worms Armageddon also out on the 26th!!
We all grew up with worms.
@@sparkypackwash your hands
Why hasn't Square Enix put Just Cause 2 on Switch
Deus volt
Holy crap that be amazing, chronic trigger as well!, I wish Ubisoft brought far cry 2 or 3 for effs sake they brought over every assassin's creed and their mom to the switch, along with a splinter cell with multiplayer!
@@garrettbot143Ubisoft is stupid for not having physical games
So many games this month my wallet 😮😅😂
There’s no way I can justify picking up all the incredible titles releasing in September but oh my goodness! Between the Plucky Squire, Caravan SandWitch, Bloomtown, Zelda, and Epic Mickey, not to mention all the beautiful games dropping on other platforms this month! Where are we to find the time?! 💜
My backlog has its own backlog.
"We only have a limited time, so these are just what *we* think are the best of the best for September. Anyway, here's Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP" 😅
I love how this guy talks lol
Worms Armageddon….
We all grew up with worms.
@@sparkypackwash your hands
I’ve played the Epic Mickey demo, and I haven’t come across any performance issues there. I was worried about how it would control with a conventional controller scheme, but it does remarkably well.
1:15 Buying on first day. Incredible game. Reminds spyre etc
I’d say worms Armageddon more significant than a few of the games mentioned
Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe physical release 🤩
Marvel vs Capcom collection broke the internet this year. In fact, it may be the video game story of the year.
Shogun Showdown looks really cool, but obviously I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new Zelda game.
Was there a free demo on Steam??
16 Exciting New Games that Also Have a Demo on Steam - September 2024
*Jesus Christ.* What a loaded month (And October and November are just as good).
I'm so happy that Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is getting officially localized. That game is a masterpiece so absolutely go for it.
And no, you don't play as Prosecutor like the video says. Edgeworth is more like a Detective solving cases and confronting the culprit in the crime scene. There's no courtroom.
NO COURTROOM?! Well then.
Broken Sword Reforged for me, cannot WAIT for that game.
cool that you mentioned this . didn't know it's existence
@@normalchristiano2276 I love the series :) BS is one of my fav games but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Directors Cut because it removed some of my favourite dialogue exchanges.
@@matwilliams8012 I've heard that DC removed some stuff but added some stuff? I'm currently playing DC for the Wii and I think it's charming
how would you rank the broken sword series from best to worst if you don't mind me asking
But if the sword is broken, how can Link defeat Ganon?
@@sparkypackBy leaving it inside a dragon’s head for 1000 years, duh.
always nice to see ace attorney investegations in a video
also it has a demo that lets you play arround half the first case of each game with save carry over if you want to try it out (would still reccomend you play the ace attorney triology before though but you can try investegations and see how much you like it)
This months line up of games actually looks promising
Zelda and Ace Attorney, name a more perfect September
Why is so hard to let the name of the game on the video during the trailer? Its much better to know what game it is!!!
Banners with each game's title, publisher, and release date appear on screen at the same time that they are spoken aloud at the beginning of each section.
It's not. They're worried people will just skip through to see the titles and not watch the whole video. They need eyeballs for a certain amount of time to drive monetization. That's why they also don't add timestamps with titles. It's a choice so you viewers are forced to be more 'engaged' with the video.
Steam and the steam deck would like to thank you for the paid promotion.
September of this year must be one of the most jampacked month of gaming i've ever seen 😲. I like most of these of which i might buy and/or check out later.
Mostly looking forward to Grapple Dogs, Plucky Squire and Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom ☺️.
And i already know there is too many games to count this month, but one i also somewhat like to check out is Parcel Corps, i don't know if it's coming out at the same time on Switch and Steam, but something i like to check out as well.
Last basket ball game I played was NBA jam on megadrive lol
Man, the 12th of September is going to drown me in games!
Core Keeper and Bloom Town look like really good games.
I think I'm going to pick up Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, The Plucky Squire, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom! I'm excited for all 3 of them, but I probably won't be able to play ace attorney investigations collection for a while because I'm currently playing through the Apollo Justice Ace Attorney trilogy right now! And I'm also playing through Octopath 2 and both games are fantastic! There are way too many games to play, plus with me being in college this year, I feel like my free time evaporates very quickly lol. I'm probably not getting through a lot of my backlog this year unfortunately.
Same, as hyped as I am for Investigations, I just finally beat Dual Destinies in the Apollo Justice trilogy and will soon move onto Spirit of Justice.
@amirgarcia547 That’s awesome! What did you think of dual destinies? I had heard some conflicting things saying it wasn’t so good and that it was one of the best in the series. It’s started off a little slow, I’m in the 2nd case now. But I heard it comes together in a crazy way in the end. What were your overall thoughts?
@@nms0805 I can agree that it starts slow, but once you reach the third case the game picks up significantly and has some amazing and satisfying pay-off by the end. And the DLC case is a ton of fun too. I really dig Athena and what they did with Apollo, and Blackquill is definitely one of my favorite prosecutors in the series. Idk if I’d rank it above the OG trilogy or Great Ace Attorney, but I did overall enjoy it more than Apollo Justice.
ah yes, the "also on Steam" showcase
Shadow of the Ninja 🥷 remake
Why is it exciting to see this out
I think Bloomtown drops in Sept, and it looks awesome
Do you think the Nintendo Switch Pro will be revealed this month of September
The plucky squire!!! Yaaasssss
“Demo” bro - 😂😆🤣🤣😆🤣
Don't forget broken sword shadow of the templars reforged on the 19th 😁 I'm very excited for that one
Worth noting Ace Attorney Investigations also has a demo out but it’s not just on steam, it’s on switch as well!
Waiting for Yakuza Kiwami!
I'm so so stoked for echoes of wisdom
I woukd have included Holy Hunter, Holy Gosh Darn, and Karate Kid
Switch should have full of amazing PS3 port. But look at now full of indie
They should port some more Need For Speed titles.
Astro Bot is here. Nintendo has competition in the fun spacr of gaming. Give us a truly next gen system from Nintendy.
I will absolutely be buying Plucky Squire, as well as the Rugrats NES games that’s finally coming out! Also UFO 50, which won’t be out on Switch but it should!
Looking forward to Reynatis, the aesthetic is top tier
Bloomtown looks like a real goodie
Did anyone else hear alex say i love the Steam Deck at 5.44 lol
Love a bit of marvel super heroes vs street farter 😂. 9:15...
Years ago I decided that I would only own one console at a time (Nintendo’s console usually!) and I would only buy games that had a physical release.
These artificial limitations on myself keep me from buying too many games (especially when I already have so many I’ve not played yet!)
So this month, I will not be playing Bakeru, Grapple Dogs, or Plucky Squire even though I’d very much like to! I guess it’s just the system working as intended, but I believe at least two of those will eventually get one!
Good job there’s a ‘t’ on the of that abbreviation otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to figure out which month it was if it had been, like ALL the other months, abbreviated to just three letters.
When comes to ace attorney you’ve got to start with the original trilogy.
I’ve played them all but none could hold a candle to the first 3 games.
I think it would just be easier to say which games don't have a demo on Steam
We need to get mortal Kombat for n64
I plan on getting the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection and of course Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which I’m very much looking forward to due to being our first original 2D Zelda in a *long* time. And one where you finally play as Zelda to boot! I do plan on getting the Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection too, but with the physical version instead, which doesn’t release until November.
I lol'd at the shibuya part. You're right, it's overdone
Ouch. Earth Defence Force World Brothers 2 is already launching on the same day as Zelda, but NBA 2K getting a slot on this video rather than EDFWB2 stings kinda hard.
I know the first game in the series has it's multiplayer locked to Nintendo systems only making it really annoying to try and find anyone to play with. But despite it's quirky and frankly odd choice to localize the game with characters who swear to artificially bump up the games ESRB rating it's one of the most accessible EDF games on the market. And was designed to be an E for everyone experience.
Its not new but Tomb Raider I-III Remastered gets a physical release. Unless they are all pre-ordered, there will be several editions. I preordered the Deluxe Ed. which comes with Steelbook, OST and map book. Now it could be October. When I preordered, it was supposed to be mid-September, now I think its going to be mid-October
Ps3 games started to appear 1 by 1, switch is more than capable to run all ps3 games
This might be the bbest gaming month in quite a while. 2024 started slowly, but late 2024 might rival late 2023.
It doesn’t make sense why you keep mentioning Steam. This video supposed to be for the Switch. You had me needing to double check if I’m watching the correct video
Lollipop Chainsaw go *_BRRRRrrrrrrrrrr!_*
Hello there lovely Alex and people in Nintendo Life btw there's nice The Legend of Sept Too Many Games on the screen to celebrate The new Zelda game and after august the BEST month of gaming in my opinion september is always even better month for gaming than august because there's coming more AWESOME games and it's my birthmonth that I have a birthday in september 28 yay and here's games that i'm really HYPED for: Bakeru, Lolipop Chainsaw Repop, The Plucky Square, Epic Mickey Rebrushed and The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom that got a new really good gameplay trailer yesterday, Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition looks so cool and The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom is coming in september 26 literally 2 days before my birthday september 28 so I already know what to play in my birthday 2024 only under a month to go thank you Nintendo & Nintendo Life and happy starting autmn everyone: Here we GOO WAHOO! 🎉😊❤
2024 and people still not putting chapters in their videos? wtf
Same thought.
The sad part about the current state of the Switch is that while all of these upcoming games look like great fun, most or all of these trailers use footage from the PC/Steam versions... meaning, it's very likely that the Switch versions of these games won't be running too well.
So all the demo's you enjoyed on Steam you probably wouldn't enjoy as much if you were playing the Switch versions... unfortunately. That's the way it's been working for me, especially during these past two years as the tech inside the Switch grows more and more obsolete.
Idk, most of the games here are either remasters of old games or indie games, and so I doubt that much if any of them will end up running better on PC.
@@amirgarcia547
Oh you'd be surprised how many Indie games come out on Switch not running well at all... even after the devs try to patch out the performance issues months later.
It's not really that hard of a thing to believe (Indie games & ports running like dogshit on the Switch). So not only is the Switch getting older week by week, but the games (Indies or older ports that get remastered/remade) are also getting more and more advanced in terms of their development that is clearly well outside of the Switch's capabilities.
I may be getting more and more frustrated at the Switch and its games these days, but that doesn't change any of the discussed realities I brought up above... unfortunately.
I didn't know Plucky was in just a few weeks/pre-EoW. Noice. With any luck I'll have finished Skyword Sword HD. The lack of a WiiMotionPlus is ever present, but so is burning calories or what have you absolutely tossing those joy cons around ⚔. Oh and, unlike with Emio, the demo of Mickey has brought me to purchase decision. to purchase. like irl from GameStop. with probably no pre-order, or one three tiers underneath you guys closer to a happy meal toy. but yeah.
September is out for my blood. Especially Marvel vs Capcom Arcade Collection.
How’s that for logic 💀
Its bullsh that CVM collection isnt getting the physical release same day.. to hell with double dipping.. ill just wait and sulk.
That pissed me off too. I'm not going to double dip either. I'm just going to get the physical version.
What a bad month to release Mickey, or Bakeru, or even Plucky Squire, because their selling numbers will be directly affected by the new Zelda game!
11:51 Why her 3rd?
oh you know
Because Zelda was the solo main character in 2 out of the 3 games-of-which-we-do-not-speak
Does anybody know if Elsie getting a physical release or is it just digital? I prefer physical so just want to be sure
11:15 I don't know about you, but the game seems way too bright. It feels like it should be... like a completely black screen...
Too many games!!!
My backlog!
who else Maine's top down Zelda now
9:17 “Farter”
Slow year for Nintendo so far tho
Why do you keep saying SIKTH it’s SIXTH. sorry
I don't get the laughs about the demos 🤔
Hello lovely p and enough waffling let’s get right into things.
( I finally got it right)
Steam life
BING BING BING BING
Where’s the Pokémon games?
The only confirmed Pokémon game (Legends ZA) won’t be coming out until next year hombre.
Ah, fellow GameBoy enjoyer who is never getting their favorite games added to the NSO Online apps
It's literally just Echoes of Wisdom. The Switch is winding down to make space for the successor.
Every other game is either not worth it or available on PC where it will hands down run and look better.
Idk, most of the games here are either remasters of old games or indie games, and so I doubt that much if any of them will end up running better on PC. The Switch has also had more exclusives in what’s most likely its final year than the PS5 or Xbox in its 4th year.
Lots of copy paste indie games or rereleases
I used to upload all my Switch Zelda gameplay on Twitter and now that Nintendo removed Twitter I no longer bother recording videos. Nintendo needs to stop being so stingy and put Twitter back!
Don’t blame Nintendo, but Elon/Twitter due to the API changes. Sony ended up removing the option as well, though it’s still far easier to share clips with the PS app.
Just get a recording device, bro.
@@ErenTheWarcriminalIf only it was that simple with Nintendo.
