David Tepper is one of the greats at the stock market game, and one of the worst at the football ownership game.
So far, I've read and listened to 15 different "talking heads" about this subject, they all come up with the same conclusion......Tepper is the issue
the owner force the coach to do what he wants which also put him in a bad situation and then get angry when the coach can't succeed with said bad situation. some people are good with money but they're shit at an expertise position.
You gotta control your Tepper!!! LOL!!!
Spot on Dan. we were 6-2 and consistent with an idenity when tepper took over. the rest is history. a billionaire that knows NOTHING about football.
As a charlottean the stereotypes based on an airport is ridiculous
... and Dan Snyder's toxic ghost has moved onto Carolina and Tepper's soul.
Tep Snyder
😂😂 😂😂😂😂
Yes Charlotte has the rocking chairs.
Man how things change. Remember when the Carolina Hurricanes sucked for what? 8-9 years straight without a single playoff appearance. Now they have a new owner and are expected to be in the playoffs now. Great owner and coach. It’s amazing how a good owner can turn around a franchise. Maybe one day the Panthers will get back to a winning formula. Might take awhile though.
Panthers are worst run organization. Don't be naive
Jerry interferes WAY more than Snyder did. Tepper seems to be following Jerry's example. Carolina will not be able to attract any name coach. Rookie HC is all Carolina will be able to hire.
Tepper is the new Dan Snyder. Good luck Panthers it's gonna be a long 30 years.
I'm pretty sure Frank R. is owed 36 million by Tepper post his firing. His buyout will probably be a bit less but not much. I'd be happy to be Frank despite his miserable experience in Charlotte.
FR didn’t want a short QB. He knows it won’t work. He got fed up and said screw it….
How dumb do you have to be to think this would be a good team with Stroud?
As a fan of the panthers, I say we are screwed. GM Scott Fittier can't draft or sign players worth damn but yeah it's all coach Reich fault
It's silly to not want the owner in the locker room after a game. It's like saying your high school principal nor your parents can ever come to the locker room lol. After a game, who cares? Now hovering over practice and the sidelines during the game is a different matter.
David Tepper reminded us all that our NFL franchises could be in worse shape. Please take the Carolina Panthers head coaching job at your own risk. You could be fired after one season and the team has lost a lot of draft capita for 2024. Good luck!!
Ron Rivera kept his Charlotte home
Why's it so damn hard to ask for a few wins from the team your paying...pay up or ship out
The biggest problem for the Panthers was that they missed on Ikey and Zavala. If that left side of the O-line wasn't historically terrible. Literally the worst I've ever seen, their record wouldn't be this bad.
Is Tepper pulling an Antonio Brown, buying a team and flat out destroying it?
I would have picked Bryce Young too, looks like I was off on that! But I didn't know the Owner actually would make the pick over the GM/Coach? Boy that's a bit crazy.
I don't think you were off on that, Stroud would look no better than Young with the O lline and lack of weapons. Anyone remember Laurence and his first year with Jacksonville, he looked horrible too but it was the team he was on and they have improved by adding other pieces
@@FretjoeStroud would definitely be better. Maybe not break/set records but definitely better.
@@kevykev388 Not sure he would with the Panthers coaches and game plans, but we will never know
Owners really have to stop making draft picks. It never turns out well. I'm relieved for the Frank because he doesn't have to be apart of a mess in Charlotte. It will be until Tepper butts out and stops playing GM.
This is just like Jerry Jones and Dallas (and I am a Cowboys fan). The word is out now, and people are seeing how involved he is.
The ONLY thing keeping Jerry is the past (which Jimmy Johnson won), the marketing dollars, and he keeps the name in the media, like ESPN and Stephen A. Smith (who has received Jerry’s blessing to play the bad guy and talk bad about them to rally all others that do not like the Cowboys).
Otherwise the media would talk bad about Jerry’s control and not winning a Super Bowl for 30 years.
Jerry looked and acted like he had dementia when he told Jimmy Johnson he was finally going into the Cowboys Ring of Honor - in 1923.
@@Don-md6wn Yeah.. I am sure he was just excited, but that definitely made me wonder if something else is pushing him to get this done NOW!!
@@jcolespartan Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable NFL team perhaps of all sports teams in the world. Jerry will never change his ways.
@@rx2878 No, I wouldn’t expect him to. Although his “football knowledge” is more self-taught and A LOT of trial and error (I know he played college football, but there is a difference being on a team and leading a team), he is better by far than David Tepper (who is basically a rich kid wanting his play toys to be idolized).
Agreed
Someone please find Cooper Legas A Q.B from utah st. He will b a good fit for Carolina panthers
If you watch ekonwu every play you see everything crumble around him its like hes the only one playing football
Ickey is a bigger problem at left tackle 😂 he is really for protecting Bryce Youngs blind side 😅
I am convinced Ekwonu and half that Oline hates Bryce 😂
I think the Panthers will become the first team in NFL history to have the 1st pick in the draft three years in a row. Of courses they won’t even be able to use that pick from this season.
The Panthers had the 6th pick in 2022 not the first.
He thinks they are going to suck next year too which I agree
"The Meddler" strikes again with another Tepper Tantrum.
Tepper is good at firing bad coaches. Bad at hiring good ones. We will get right.
As a bears fan I would like to thank them for dj Moore and the first pick in draft potentially
Panthers fan. You're welcome 😢 boneheaded move on Carolina's end but aye Chicago's on pace to have DJ Moore and Marvin Harrison Jr as WR 1 & 2.
We just owed you guys for Giving us Riverboat Ron Rivera, Greg Olsen and Julius Peppers.....
Deion to Carolina confirmed
Is the owner just pissed at reich cause the guy he really wanted is playing well?
2:32 DP, Billionaires can never be humbled. Stupid statement.
Denver airport is a three ring circus
David tepper is the new Daniel Snyder
