Tepper is the biggest issue with the Panthers. Fans can see he has no business being in the position he's in. He's rich but proves he's oblivious when it comes to football
Jerry Richardson would hate to see what Tepper has done to his team. wish he sold the team to Ben Navarro (I think he even made a higher bid)
Amen
Owner can only do so much? This falls on the people he hired. GM is failing, coaches are failing and players are failing.
@@grahamstrom1492panthers haven’t have any culture or talent besides CMC since Cam’s playing days. Owner didn’t have anything to ruin because Carolina was irrelevant prior.
@@NotKD35 all I know is Tepper is the one consistent in these years of Panthers historically bad play starting when when he purchased the team, even if he's not the singular issue. Appears to be the root
Tepper bought a team and thought he knew football
Someone advised him to hire Frank!! He's smart for cutting him loose before young loses all confidence!
@@bigdaddymak1439 im not sure Young is the guy at the NFL level, but if he is then yeah needed to give him a shot to develop without Reich before it was too late
Someone advised him to hire Frank but to not build the roster Franks system needed lol?
@@bigdaddymak1439crazy how reich wanted stroud but the owner wanted young and traded the future for him. How’s that going so far
Billionaires keyword Billionaires have lots of power so they can do whatever they want
Frank aged 20 years in the past two seasons
Doesn’t even look like the same guy.!
He has multi millions to sleep well on. I don't think he's that stressed.
@@Kingbo35pretty sure being the president is more stressful than being a coach. And the coaches make 10x what the president makes
@@Kingbo35 So a head coaching job in football is as stressful as being the President of the United States? So, I guess by that logic being a truck driver is tougher than being in combat.
You heard Rex Ryan say that. Stop it please smh
They should have kept Wilkes as the head coach after last szn. He turned that team around last year and they played hard for him.
Wilkes did well but remember he did not have a rookie QB running the offense. In addition, Panthers had DJ Moore last year who is a legitimate #1 WR.
Meanwhile, Chargers and Commanders throwing their hands up like "wtf, how come our coaches still here"
Thank you! Wasting our QB talent.
Bears too, Im sick of Flus and want him out asap
@@chrisyentastic379i pray we just waiting till the end of the year. We need him to do the best thing he knows how to do lose
I have no idea how Staley has a job still
And bears lol lbs
Frank Reich may or nay not have been the guy to hire but what the hell could anyone expect him to accomplish with that dumpster fire of a team in 11 games?
#1 pick in the draft, Adam theilen and Chark jr. at WR, miles sanders and chubba Hubbard at RB, veteran linebackers and DBs like Brian burns and donte Jackson . A better coach could have salvaged more than 1 win in 11 weeks. This Frank will not get a 3rd Reich
@@alexmullins5407bro all them players you named expect for burns is washed 😂😂😂 they’re not good talent
For real best case they have maybe 3 wins right now lol not much of an improvement. Plus it was teppers stupid ass that traded up for young
Maybe you missed it but Steve Wilks won 6 games with this team last year. They were winning games with PJ Walker and Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold not even throwing for 200 yards. Sure they swapped out DJ Moore for Adam Thielen but Thielen has similar yards to what Moore had last year. If they could win last year with that talent, they can win this year with that talent. Sometimes the coach makes the team look a lot worse than the team's true talent level. Look at the Raiders
DJ moore and McCafferey both top 10 players in their position. Trading them for nothing, then replacing a fresh young DJ moore with a 30+ year old? Bring out the dunce hats. They also traded TWO 1st round picks for an unproven qb with no elite weapons around him. If they just waited til this draft, they would have a top QB without trading anything. @@matriculatethefootball
Makes me feel bad for Duce Staley. He left Detroit to Carolina to be closer to his mother having health issues just to have this happen. I hope Lions brings him back with open arms, he was good person to have on the sidelines.
Don't feel bad yet. Snow got fired after Rhule, and it was actually a mutual parting, Duce may have wanted to step away from this mess to either 1) focus on his mother or 2) seek opportunities elsewhere. Until the facts are revealed we never know why.
Duece is a multi-millionaire. He’s fine
Yeah life isnt fair. He will be fine.
Eagles fan, Duce 100% will get picked up by someone, he only left the eagles because he didn’t think he could move up our system. We would take him back in a heartbeat
He’s not a good coach
It was a terrible hire in the first place. The team and most of the fans wanted Wilks back after the end of last season. The owner is the real problem here....
Tepper got fleeced. Reich convinced him he was a QB guy and could develop Young. Could've just picked a good HC and get a good QB coach or OC
Dude needs to go to the Nick Saban coaching career rehabilitation center
He’s 61 now so now id imagine retirement might be on his mind.
I’ll never understand how teams can see people like Josh McDaniels, Frank Reich & say…. They sucked at being a head coach… let’s go get them.
New Orleans Saints has entered the chat
lack of alternatives and pure desparation and they probably think at least they have NFL coaching experience
Bill Belchick go be on that list next
Anyone from the Belichick tree has been awful... somehow they all keep getting jobs. Brady was the engine... we all know that now.
@@JuwanBuchanan As a vikes fan, i love Coach O Connoll, but id take Belicheck in Minnesota in a second.
Tepper is the problem. He has turned everything into a dumpster fire.
As a Panthers fan, I blame David Tepper
Who is tepper?
owner@@sweetpeaches6916
The owner lol
I second that!
I said that on Bleacher Report and some in the Community weren't happy with what I said
For the second straight year Frank Reich has been fired mid-season.
For the second straight year the Panthers have fired their coach mid-season.
"Tepper needs to call plays" 😂
As long as Tepper is the owner, we will be in football Hell. Sell the team, Tepper.
He might be the first in a long time to lose money selling a franchise if he did that right now. 😄
Feels unfair to bring up Stroud as a point against Frank considering by all reports he wanted to pick Stroud instead of Bryce and got overruled by Tepper
Oo man is that true?
Daaaaamn. To get fired for the dish you made when you didnt get to pick the ingredients. SMH
They wouldn't say this BY was doing good 😂
Then it's probably best for Reich to GTFO and let Tepper try to clean up his own mess.
Size alone tells u to pick Stroud.. smh
Reich didn't even want Bryce Young FFS😂😂
He wanted Stroud lmao. Not sure why D-Butt said we would find out who pulled the trigger on Bryce over Stroud. We already know and it was the Owner. Frank wanted Stroud 110% but was overruled by the owner who wanted Bryce Young. And 11 games later how is that decision looking? Yet the owner isn't gonna take any responsibility and will throw the HC under the bus as the scapegoat smh. Panthers fans can only daydream what this season would have been if Frank was allowed to take Stroud instead lol
that's hardly the problem lmao. Panthers staff traded all their best draft capitol for one unproven rookie, while simultaneously trading their best offensive weapons for next to nothing. Bring on the Dunce Hat! That whole organization is a slap in the face to all panther fans. IF this is the coach that made those trades, then good fkn riddance.
I don’t think either of these jobs were his fault but he wasn’t exactly the solution either 🤷🏻♂️
I think the NFL moves too fast for Frank to call plays. Get a good OC and let him call the plays like they generally do. Not to mention the game has evolved.
Pat will never say his former owner and the colts suck just as Tepper is learning to manage a team but yeah Frank didn do himself a favor.
I think Indy was his fault. They had a decent roster at the time and the locker room gave up on him as the leader causing bad morale overall
@@marvinhunt8276 A good OC will be gone in one successful year.
What was Reich supposed to do with that dumpster fire of a team?
Lol two words Shane Steichen
@@kellejohnson6012I don't get it
@@kellejohnson6012 Not even the same team lol
@@soulknife20 colts sucked last year with Reich Steichen took over worse teams with backup qb and is winning

He should have never taken the job in the first place. He just came out of tough situation in Indy only to go to an even worse situation with a tyrant owner.
Traveling dumpster fire destroying each team he goes to lol. Imagine trading for matt ryan, then sticking him behind the worst o line xD then somehow getting another head coaching job after that, insane.
I think Tepper is the biggest issue with the team though. Reich wanted CJ over Bryce, but Tepper had to meddle in the affairs. Reich is then thrown under the bus becuase of it.
Not saying that Reich is a good coach, becuase he isn't, but owners need to stay in the owner's box and let the people that know football do their job.
Take example from proper ran organizations Steelers, Eagles, Ravens, 9ers. Hire the right people and stay out the way.
Don't forget the Chargers meddling owner and family
@@curtisjoseph7228 Yep, and they haven't been relevant since Schottenheimer. Then they inexplicably fire him. Those Charger teams were good enough to win it all, if not for running into Brady.
Panthers haven't been the same since Richardson was forced to sell
Richardson had a good track record with the franchise but then he got cancelled.
Panthers should of Hired Steve Wilks, kept c Mac, DJ More, And Baker Mayfield
Those trades were the worst trades I've ever seen.
It shows more about the incompetence of the Panthers than Reich.
Who traded DJ moore and McCafferey for next to nothing though?
No culture under Frank in Carolina either. Steve Wilks brought back that Keep Pounding attitude that Sam Mills made famous, but Tepper threw that in the trash. Wilks had Sam Darnold playing the best football of his career as well. Sam played incredible during the last game against Brady but the Panthers secondary sold and lost the game
Well said
And everybody thought this job was better than the Texans.
Who...
@wagglewiggle Everybody in the national media, every fan that wasn't a Texans fan. Just about everybody. You included. Don't deny now.
6:29 assistant to the head coach sounds just like the office when Michael makes Dwight the assistant to the regional manager 🤣🤣
If you think about it, the talent on all NFL teams is exceptional. Every team has solid players. Coaching makes an enormous impact on the success of the team.
Look at Sean Payton in Denver. Astounding change.
As a Warren Moon fan I will never for get what Frank Riech did to The Oilers.
Bud Adams screwed them over, but after their losses to the Bills and Chiefs in 92 and 93 to be fair there was no coming back from that
Isn't he the same guy that traded for Matt Ryan and gave him (a pocket passing QB) the worst O-line in history? xD
Wait can we go back to the "Players on the Colts were betting against the team while playing for them part." Is anyone looking into this cause if this is the case it may be one of the biggest gambling scandals in the history of sports.
Thats a fed crime.
Snitches get stitches. Suprised that came out of his mouth on live tv
Yeah, Isaiah Rodgers and another player on the colts gambled on a over/under bet for a colts running back. This was already reported
I know he was bad with the panthers but this reeks of impatience and overreaction from tepper. I legit think that dude is one of the bottom of the barrel owners of the nfl
A lot of head coaches are going to get fired
Shame it didnt work out for Reich, but he's gonna get paid $9m/ year for 3 more years. Enjoy the time with the family Frank, getting out of Carolina could be the best Xmas present you get this year.
I WISH MY CHARGERS OWNERSHIP TAKES NOTICE!! GET RID OF STAYLEY!!!
Charger at least can keep games close... The Panthers keep getting their ass kicked up and down the field.
Hes getting an extension so large spanos can't fire him have funnn
Pat talked about special teams coaches that got promoted and conpletely forgot about Rich Bisaccia 😂
The Panthers biggest weakness is their owner! Same with the Colts!
Real Panthers fans didn't want this dude 😂.
Do panthers fans even exist?
I swear. Who tf picks Doug Flutie number 1?
We have to stop thinking that just because you’re a good OC means head coaching is the next step. He was instrumental in winning my Eagles 2017 Superbowl. Made jump too soon to HC.
Sure, but I don't know if that's the issue here. Plenty of OCs make good coaches. The problem here is that Reich failed with the colts and didn't take any time to really investigate why he failed. He brought the same colts scheme and the same colts problems to the panthers. He refused to try to do anything different when his scheme wasn't working. That's the definition of insanity. He'd still have his job if he was willing to try something different and show progress. He believed his scheme works and the games were winnable. Meanwhile we're watching a bunch of former coordinators succeeding as first time coaches. It's not guaranteed success but it's better than hiring a coach who was fired for being inept in the previous season
Just like Dan Quinn trying to be head coach @ falcons. He's good with defense but horrible with everything else lmao Those trades ruined that team.
we wanted Wilks. It was a bad choice to take him, and this year has been wasted due to the owner yet again
This is what makes me worry as a Pats fan with all this replacement talk. There are not any good HCs out there now a days.
Honestly I seen it coming, need someone like Dan Lanning over at Oregon...you know how he works McAfee, first hand at the Utah game...
So are we going to pull a colts and hire Ryan Khalil as interim now?
Nah Greg Olsen
I think that one story about building the Panthers practice facility when he first bought the team will (probably ) epitomize this franchise his entire tenure
North shore with homie is saying that Frank wright didn't leave the Colts with a losing record. He did. It was 3-5-1. Three wins. With a potential Hall of Fame quarterback named Matt Ryan. Who played his worst football in his career under this man. To where he is now out of the NFL. He never deserved this opportunity and we all know why he got it. This is why there is an initiative for African-American coaches in the NFL
That was an immaculate Cigar pull from AJ Hawk
Some people are never meant to be a head coach. And will always be better coordinators.
Texans were not a dumpster fire last season... They lost a lot of games but were in most of them and you could see the potential. The success they're having now isn't such a shock tbh. Stroud def has a big part to do with it tho, kid is great already
Finally someone who watched football last year. The Texans had a promising team and they only made it better in the offseason. The panthers gave up all their assists to help a young QB
Tepper learned nothing from his time in Pittsburgh………bro has Charlotte ready to riot……
Love It Pat ThePatMcAfeeShow Bro Let's Gooooooooo.
Panthers should hire Matt Canada as head coach- it would just make sense
Good times rolling up to pro days with the squad of tepper,McCown and Reich acting like mob bosses then taking the wrong QB 😂
What happened to coaches being given a solid 3-4 years to produce favorable results? I hate the new NFL grace period for coaches & QBs.
Crappy franchises tend to hire sub-par coaches and then pull the plug on them fast, eventually leading to a situation where fewer and fewer top shelf coaches will accept a job with that franchise.
Whoever made the offseason trades and mid-season trades 100% deserves to be fired lmao, clueless staff.
I personally don't care about the CJ Stroud thing. I'm pissed that we're gonna miss out on Caleb Williams/Marvin Harrison Jr. because of that GOD-awful trade we made.
E-F*UCKING-NOUGH!!!! David Tepper NEEDS TO GO *NOW!!!!!!*
What's messed up is this isn't even really Frank Riechs fault. He and the staff were dead set on wanting to draft C.J Stroud over Bryce Young And Anthony Richardson. He as a long time coach could see that Stroud had the IT factor and was a absolute baller.
But the owner of the team decided he was gonna play GM as well like Jerry Jones and override the decision making process for the #1 pick and he forced Riech and The Panthers to draft Bryce Young over Stroud
Which we can all see after 11 games that was a franchise ruining decision... Stroud had single handedly changed a entire organization around from a bottom 5 team to a playoff contention team with no name WR's, TE's A depleted O-Line And average run game. Imagine what he could do when he gets a #1 Top WR And a better TE/O-Line. If he had the weapons the Seahawks Do it would be OP. Metcalf, Lockett, Jackson Smith-Ninjigba, Noah Fant, And a surprise rookie in Jake Bobo 💀💀. Stroud would be a juggernaut.
Only one to blame really is the OWNER. But of course he needs a scape goal and Frank has to be it. Too bad so sad smh
First of all there is nothing that actually supports Frank Reich wanting Stroud. Secondly, he's a coach. It's his responsibility to build his scheme around the QB, regardless of who it is and if you watched the Panthers he clearly did not do that. He just ran the same scheme that he ran for Carson Wentz that got him fired in Indy and now people are making excuses for him going 1-10 and leading one of the worst offenses in the NFL.
You're delusional if you think for a rookie QB, situation doesn't matter and Stroud would be anywhere near as successful if the Panthers had taken him.
Stroud is definitely better than Young but compared to this panther team stroud would be getting torn by critics as well.
I follow carolina because there's no other team nearby. This team is trash, this O line is horrible, we have no WR no one can get open period. This entire offense needs to be remodeled. I want Young to be amazing but I want him traded to a team tomorrow that can develop him and keep him healthy so we dont have an Andrew Luck situation. The panthers are never going to get that 1 5 star player that just leads the team to the playoffs. They need the next 5 years to suck and slowly develop a solid team before they can start looking for the next Tom Brady.
It's definitely Reich's fault. He's a horrible coach.
yeah i agree i saw so many things about them taking stroud and i was kinda sad as a colts fan. i hon was hoping stroud dropped to indy cuz it was saying texans werent taking stroud for a while. also as a colts fan ive watched tons of drafts with frank in them. he always went after big players that were "freaks"
Take all of the bad things about the Texans and they are 10x worse in the panthers. No one would do well with this team
I heard my fair share of talk about patience during the Matt Rhule disaster. I'm done being patient.
The smart move would be for the Panthers to give EB a try, he could do fantastic work with Young and im sure he has strong enough resume to convince players to come play for him as well. 💯
On that graphic, tickets as low as $11 & $13, you can't even give Panther tickets away 🤣
Maybe Frank is a genius. Knew he'd never have to finish this season but locked up $9mil a year while he takes a few seasons off.
Good for you Carolina 👍 👏
DAMN! As an Eagles fan it makes me rly sad to hear that they canned Duce Staley too, he’s for sure one of the all time fan favorite Eagles and a rly good RB coach!

As a Bears fan I would have preferred if Carolina kept the coach til the end of the year.
I can imagine you would - but i wouldn't worry too much, we won't let you down....
Ohhh Carolina 😢
They should have fired the gm for not hiring Steve
Not hiring Steve Wilks to become the head coach was David Tepper's call.
@@michaeljohnson7945 ahhh ok well he's an idiot
A good position coach doesn't always equate to a Headcoach.
Fra
Nk shouldn't have gotten the job to begin with.
Tepper's such a mess. He's fired every coach he's hired and never at the end of the season; it's been mid-year each time. Ron Rivera, Matt Rhule, Frank Reich. He also owns Charlotte FC (MLS) and he's fired 2 coaches there in less than 2 years.
When Josh McCown was available, Jack Easterby had pull in Houston and the rumor was he was going to be the next head coach there. He had no coaching experience but that didn't matter. Fortunately, he's gone now. Dollars to donuts he talks Tepper into giving him the job. The drama ain't over in Carolina
Duce needs an HC job asap
There’s a guy in Ann Arbor

Too much stock is put in coach’s! Good players get it goin anywhere they go, Bruce doesn’t have it
I think everyone was confused by the Reich hire from the beginning. Dude blew a shot at a potential Super Bowl team with one of those Indy teams and showed he can’t develop a young QB. Carolina didn’t do him any favors with that roster but still it looked bad
Am I right or wrong with this but wasn’t Chip Kelly fired and back to back seasons, the Eagles and the Niners
Jerry Jones is no longer the worst owner in NFL.
Don't forget Demeco got offered the Vikings the year before and turned it dahn
9:29 Well I ,ean apparently Frank really wanted to draft CJ at #1 but the owner of Panthers wanted Bryce instead.
Cowherd loved the hire👀
I guess Thielen has to wait another year to win a Super Bowl 😂
talk about wishing upon a star. mans already on his way out
San Francisco 49ers fan here. You all can Wilks back in Carolina. He sucks as our DC.
imagine firing a coach after 1-2 years, especially a team with a top 2 pick the previous draft. Sounds like the panthers ownership should be up for question, not the coach.
Reich was recording Young thru his phone watching the screen. I’m glad AJ said it. Yall are so used to pointing the camera at yourself you don’t even think that camera works the other way! 😂I’d love that life! Party on guys! 🎉
y would the special teams coordinator become interim(makes zero sense), would you not assign the d-coord as interim or bring down the OC ?
The thing that bothers me the most is that if the Panthers had just beaten the Saints in week 2, we would have seen Derek Carr make history as the first QB to ever lose against 31 different NFL teams. I will hold that against Frank Reich until the Panthers beat Derek.
Yall still got another chance! Wish you good luck from this Falcon fan.
Idk if Reich needs to take a break. IF McDermott doesn't get fired I would think that he could be the OC for that team if they're not impressed with Brady. I would think that would be a good fit. But if you're the Chargers and Bills all eyes should be on Harbaugh.
I find it hilarious that they traded away their 1st rd pick and then go stink the joint out without the hope of having the #1 overall. Not sure Bryce Young was the right pick. They're basically F'd for a good, long while. I heard Tepper was the one who pushed for Young.
Yeah just like the Broncos were F'd for a good long while after trading the farm for Russell Wilson. Oh wait, they're playing well this year because they have a coach who doesn't suck? But they didn't even have a 1st round pick in the 2023 draft! Reich took a 7 win team and made them a 1 win team. Just like Steichen took Reich's 4 win team and has them above .500. Everything points to Reich being the problem
Even if they picked stroud, it's still an unproven rookie with no offensive weapons. Stroud would be struggling just like Bryce. 100%.
Maybe buy an o-line… 🤣
Panthers already gave their #1 overall pick to Da Bears....fans aren't even looking forward to the draft 😭
Poor Andy Dalton, he didnt deserve this
Bryce out here getting people fired 😂
Nope, Reich did that all by himself. Just like he got himself fired last year before Bryce was even in the NFL. Gonna blame Matt Ryan for that? Minshew has more wins on the colts this year than Matt Ryan had last year and he isn't playing any better. Hmmm, maybe it was their head coach who was the problem
As a Redskins fan it just makes me even more pissed off Rivera isn't gone, when Rivera and Del Rio should've been gone 2 years ago! Why settle for mediocrity? Some these franchises are out of touch. Move on and find a better coach. Respect to the panthers for cutting ties so quickly..why give the guy another season..?..
The deadskins are the mediocre team that the cowboys need to face twice a year to stat pad
Don't worry, just like the panthers, your staff traded away 2 of the best players for next to nothing.
Winning out with Tabor then letting him go to sign Kliff Kingsbury instead would be the most panthers move ever 💀💀💀
Poor guy 😅
This team is so unbelievably bad, and they have no future from the draft for the foreseeable future, they have no coach that can establish a culture, they traded away their best players that you can build your team around, and they have a absolute bust in Bryce Young. This franchise needs to disappear or move it the hell out of my state.
Nonsense. Bryce Young won't be a bust. Sean Payton took the Broncos job without a 1st round pick in 2023 and with a seeming bust of a QB in the remnants of Russell Wilson. And now the Broncos are winning. A good coach can turn this all around
