The Absolute highest priority for any Team are the Coaches... And there are lots of Mediocre Coaches who might do well with an outstanding roster. But they fail utterly at developing their players into an 'Outstanding Team'.

I half agree with you, Perna -- I think THIS year Reich definitely deserved to be fired midseason just because of how much of the Panthers' struggles was clearly on him not handling the roster he'd been given well. He was completely botching it by forcing a scheme onto a roster not built for it, and didn't seem able to recognize that. When you've invested that much capital into Bryce Young you CANNOT be fucking up that man's first year in that manner. That being said, however, the agree is that I DEFINITELY don't think Reich is as bad a coach as McDaniels. I don't think he should have been fired midseason on the Colts and I think this year is an aberration, albeit one that will sit pretty heavily on his reputation.

The Panthers had a solid team under the interim coach. To go from winning 6 of their last 8 games to this mess shows how stupid the owner is.
