  • Hi, this video shows you how to use a wired Ethernet Network connection on your Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod.
This might be useful if the Wi-Fi has stopped working on your device or if you want a quicker more stable connection for gaming or downloading.
You will need to buy 2 adapters to make it work.
    Many thanks, Vince

The best thing with this setup is that it lowers the microwave exposure.

Does not work at all with iOS 15 iPhone 6s

The presentation was helpful, but you move much too fast! Especially with someone who is not familiar with any of this.

I'm going to start calling it aeroplane mode now.

You are moving your devices like a magician which is cheating people's eyes. Anyway, you plug the RJ45 into the adapter which connects to the iPhone, but where does the other end go?

Why can't we just use one component, the cheaper $19.99 (n Amazon) RJ45 Ethernet LAN Network Adapter for Phone Pad, Phone Ethernet Adapter?? Will this work with iphone 12? Thanks

Can I connect my phone directly to the usb port on my router? (Many router these days come with usb ports) can you check if it works? I've checked with my poco phone but it doesn't work. Maybe it will work on Samsung or some other phone with stock Android

That seems expensive for the Apple adapter.

Thank you! I wanted to do this with my iPad for so long, but it never worked until now! I hadn't realised that I needed a charger with a higher ampere - I'd used the one with the lower output. It's fine for charging, but not for the Ethernet connection. I'm so grateful for this video!

Thank you so much for going into far more detail with the USB speed options and power supply required - you’ve solved my problem, thank you!

Thank you for making this . No other newer versions of this. All old iOS versions. Good to know before I drop $60.

I almost bought one of those adapters on Amazon. Then I saw your video and never thought about having the adapter with the charging port also. I’ve decided to connect my iPhone and iPad to my router or modem to see if I can get a better connection. I live in a rural area and I’m getting frustrated with my satellite Internet connection. So I’m going to try and use it wired instead of Wi-Fi. If that doesn’t work, I might buy a Wi-Fi booster. But if this works I can use it at home where I need it. Thanks for sharing. Now to find the adapter you have. If not on Amazon, then I guess at Apple.
