It is not 3 alternate final bosses, there are 3 separate stories in the DLC that you can do in any order, each one has a final boss. Think of it like Astel for Ranni, Fortisaxx for Fia.
I don't really mind if they reuse the same boss but add more moves and new lore, they kinda did the same thing with Cleric Beast and Laurence from Bloodborne, they share an almost identical first phase but they have different second phase and the lore is different, not to mention the ost that is clearly improved.

How does every other new boss and enemy have such stunning animations and visuals, but the final boss looks janky and amateurish? The gameplay is what is making everyone skeptical. And I don’t think a day 1 patch would fix how bad that fight looks.

The Messmer fight looks 100% real and was awesome. The leaked final boss though…. If that is actually the final boss after two years it’s definitely disappointing. Bosses in Convergence looked much better and more polished and the arena looked like ass

The footage I’ve seen literally looks worse than some mods to the point that I am 99% sure that the radahn footage at the very least (and probably also the remembrances screenshot, the boar rider is a main boss?) is fake.

I'm hyped even more. They are always a good and bad ending with some in-between. I'm so curious to what the lore is gonna be. Ppl should learn to never put a certain expectation on anything. It's gonna still be an amazing game either way. Already has been.
I might sound a little insane but what if the final boss thing is just a way for FS to figure out who did the leak in case it happens? Like the just put some bad model there to make sure the leaker puts emphasis on that, and different reviewers have different models, and now FS knows eho exactly did the leak?
makes no sense. the point of a reviewer getting an early copy is for them to completely give their thoughts and critics on the correct and fully finished product. whats even the point if the product they receive has fake content?
I don't want to believe the leak but even if it is real a prime radhan fight sounds pretty dope to me and im pretty sure miazaky will nail it and it whould be a UNIQUE FIGHT not a reused asset and remember killing radhan in the main game is one of the requirements to access the dlc (idea first phase general radhan second phase st trina thirt phase miquola the unalloyed)
The general consensus is that the leak of the final boss is fake. You can see for a split second that it's literally just Godfrey's phase transition, hence why the leaker skips it, and the boss reuses the Twin Princes, Friede's and Maliketh's moves and some odd bloodflame incantation. It uses the Limgrave skybox and Miyazaki said that no base game character would appear in the DLC. I'm certain some things were real, but no way that the final boss is.
It’s not Godfrey’s phase transition tho? It’s literally completely different, he kneels down with his left hand on the ground and his right hand using his sword to prop himself up, that looks nothing like Godfrey

Some extra info about the LEAK fight. Its a secret boss fight, not the actual final fight. Very much like Malenia. It only happens through certain choices with Miquella's questline

I’m underwhelmed at this DLC, gameplay wise 10/10 but lore wise not only because this is the only one but the fact that they could’ve touched base on characters like Godfrey, Godwyn, Ranni, and Rykard… Which leads me to believe and want another DLC that take place in the past… We could’ve fought Godwyn riding Fortissax, Rykard before the blasphemy learned spells from him, seen Ranni’s teacher and learn spell’s from her as well as Ranni and see what Ranni looked like before the night of the black knives, And help Godfrey beat bosses… idk just seems like wasted potential
how many reviewers actually play more than a few hours? especially in a fromsoft game where the bosses would take the average journalist AGES to beat its pretty likely they assumed no one would reach the final boss and if they did the place holder assets will keep the spoiler hidden

Imagine if a single reviewer actually reached the fight in this state, they would definitely mention how the final boss was a garbage, asset reusing, mess of a fight. Why would From risk that reaction? If we're trying to justify this as real, I'd bet it's not an actual reviewer, and more like someone that got access to an even earlier build through arcane means.
I think the expansion will be awesome! You all should go in and experience the dlc for yourselves and try staying away from more leaks! That’s just my recommendation!

No the only unfinished boss was the very last and final boss and it was only his textures/model/cutscene that was unfinished which is VERY easy to replace
Fromsoft is known to make the most insane last boss fights in DLCs. Orphan, Gael etc. Because I saw the videos, they are 100% fake. Even the Mesmer one looks weird af, the way the fight seems to work in the video. But as for the final fights, there is no way those are the final fights. UPDATE: About the said leaks, sadly I think they are real after some more investigation I did. But in no way they'll be in the quality I saw in the videos. Furthermore the amount of REMEMBRANCE bosses have been leaked and it's more than 10 and that's crazy, also the leaker gave some description of some of the bosses and trust me we'll be eating real good. All I have to say regarding the leaks is, don't get yourself disappointed before you experience the game yourself.
It's 100% fake. There are very good modders for FS games. One example is Garden of Eyes. That guy created an alternate ending cinematics with near perfect graphics and VA of Elden ring. And they posted that fake ending video on the day of release of base game. Also the DLC leaker from reddit is new account and he seems to run another alternate account defending the leaks claim lol. Also how is it hard to take a simple snapshot of the map? Also no cutscenes was recorded why?

They showed 9 icons 1 being the dancing lion, the other Mesmer and the others I won't spoil. The leaker himself said they are more and they haven't finished the game yet. They talk around 12 Remembrances total which is a great amount of MAIN bosses. It's insane. We'll have to wait and see.

It's not so much the boss itself, but the animations, they seem very unpolished and weird, the way the boss is moving etc. The thing is, it's very hard for it to be a mod, because in the video we see assets and things the modder couldn't have known to make the mod in the first place. I can't go into more detail because I would be spoiling. But yeah that's the reason why I think this is not a mod and it's real. We still have no context or background of the fight so idk. But way too many weird and disappointing things are going on with this fight and I do hope and cope that this is not the final fight or at least if it is, that it will be polished out in all aspects.
Just saw the leaks. The messemer fight is absolutely 100% real. What solidifies that for me is because the player character is wearing the lion dancers head, which some people who got early access to SOTET said you get after killing it. The final boss on the other hand I really don’t think is legit. It just doesn’t make sense to reuse a boss from the main game as a final boss or any boss in their biggest dlc to date. I could understand if M****** used the boss in question as a spirit summon or similar, kind of how Renalla summons dragons and giants in her boss fight.

@@MartinZekar I think they're disappointed to see a returning character from the base game be the final boss. Personally, I'm fine with it as long as there's a good lore explanation, and the fight has a good, unique, move set. The latter at at least seems true, so I'll wait until the DLC is out to pass judgement.
Leaks are too high effort to be fake, and while the "final" boss looks janky, it's almost certainly just not finished. The leaker probably only has access to an older build. It's certainly possible for FS to make a shitty/disappointing dlc boss (half-light, gank squad, living failures), but this fight contains characters that are WAY too important, and clearly already has WAY too much work put into it to be left like this (cutscene, some of the unique attacks, etc.). This can go one of two ways: 1) It'll be patched before release, and even if the character is one we've fought before, it'll still have enough polish to be satisfying. This isn't unheard of, Malenia's waterfowl dance in the 1.0 version had janky/ugly animations, and even if the move is mechanically frustrating, it still LOOKS great as of release + day one patch. Considering the quality of all the OTHER bosses we've seen, it would be an extremely odd and out of character contrast for the fight to release as is... However... 2) This is how it'll release, and it'll be suicide from FS. It'll be a stain on their record that'll be hard to ignore, and it'd be baffling for it to release in this state considering they didn't seem to be under any pressure to release. Outside looking in, they seem to have had all the time they needed, so it'd be a really awful look if it's like this. I'm, like, 99% certain it's option 1. I'll be disappointed if it is 2, but... It just makes no sense. Like, FS has eyes, they can see the contrast between, for instance, Messmer and this boss. Based on everything I know about them as a studio, I don't think they'd just release it like that. This isn't DS1, they have the clout and resources to take their time and polish this to a mirror sheen, so I think it'll be okay. TL;DR: This one boss is unfinished, but it's astronomically unlikely to release as is. Leaker probably just has an old build.

Leaker certainly seems antagonistic towards FS, like he wants them to fail, so while I believe the actual footage, his own opinions are less credible.
You can slap a modded boss (in this case, Radahn) among the legit ones (in this case, Messmer and the dragon) and call it a leak. Miyazaki already said in his interview with a Chinese publication a couple months back that no character in the base game that the player interacted with will appear in the DLC because of the possible development complications. The Messmer and the Dragon boss fights might be real, but the Radahn one is fake AF.

SPOILER The final Boss is Prime Radahn without his Horse and apparently has a 2nd Phase where miquella gets on his back (wich is literally what I thought the final Boss to be but with godwyn instead of radahn) The "video" of the Boss fight is only 4 seconds and shitty quality the Screenshots are high quality tho so I am gonna call it specualtion for now. Also the leaker said: After fighting one of the previous two bosses (One probably being miquella alone if I had to guess, the other Idk) wich already indicates two different options to get to this point but thats could also be misunderstanding, but After deafeating one of them AND than NOT Helping Miquella Results in him summoning Radahn and this being the secret last Boss. As always, take all leaks (besides the gameplay videos) with a Grain of Salt, a lot gets mixed up with Translations and excitment

Messmer looked the most legit (even though his moveset is also pretty reused from Black Knife assasins and a few other agile bosses) But the final boss is 100% not legit. Fromsoftware tweeting about leaks doesnt necessarily prove the leaks were real either, and Vaati turning off his comment section might be to also not spread missinformation AND information gotten from reviewers like Iron Pineapple. Radahn simply looks unfinished. IDM a Radahn boss in the DLC, it would explain why he and Malenia fought, but the FINAl boss, and looking this bad? Nah
The problem with this 'final boss' is that he looks like very unfinished From Soft boss or decently developed modded boss. It's too perfect middle ground to be 100% sure but I think it is fake (the other two leaked bosses looks much, much better and finished)

If these leaks are accurate, I find it very interesting how the three thingies parallel the three major thingies of the base game. Instead of how they were there, you now take on roles originally filled by someone else. The first is the thinnest match for this theory, but the other two work perfectly.

The one with wings(to prevent spoilers) looked pretty real, but the other boss fight was either incomplete or super ass fanmade. Overall, lets see in 5 days. Spoilers: Just watched Radahn and Miquella's boss fight and wow......Radahn is a big ass fucking fanboy indeed. I refuse to believe Godwyn isn’t a part of the dlc. Too many hints in the main game about Miquella wanting to revive him using an eclipse. The final fight would make perfect sense if it was Godwyn instead of Radahn. Godwyn and Miquella are the only demigods that we don’t get to fight in the main game so why would they reuse Radahn as the final boss who has no connections to Miquella. It makes no sense from a lore perspective and even less sense from a creative perspective. Fans want something fresh and exciting, especially for the final boss. Hopefully this is either completely fake or somehow a placeholder for the real final boss to prevent it from being leaked.

I think I fully agree with what you are saying. The leaker clearly have access to demo and game files. Everything else seems really legit so they might have speed run’d to the other two within the time limit. As for the final boss I am so heavily tilted to it being a pieced up mod
A lot of things simply are weird. Aside from what others said, the skybox is limgrave without even removing the erdtree aura in the back. The boss’s armor looks very different from their main game counterpart. Plus no voice whatsoever. The trailer gate, which should be blood red, is completely grey with nothing else.

The sheer amount of reused assets are rough. Even the messemer fight has at least half of the animations reused with the tree spirit and many of the melee. The boss room and the only attack shown in the trailer wasn't there. The pontiff animations too. None of the shown weapon types or any of the shown weapons are there. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty convinced this is a mod. Either way, I am hyped to play.

How does every other new boss and enemy have such stunning animations and visuals, but the final boss looks janky and amateurish? The gameplay is what is making everyone skeptical. And I don’t think a day 1 patch would fix how bad that fight looks.

The Messmer fight looks 100% real and was awesome. The leaked final boss though…. If that is actually the final boss after two years it’s definitely disappointing. Bosses in Convergence looked much better and more polished and the arena looked like ass

The footage I’ve seen literally looks worse than some mods to the point that I am 99% sure that the radahn footage at the very least (and probably also the remembrances screenshot, the boar rider is a main boss?) is fake.

I'm hyped even more. They are always a good and bad ending with some in-between. I'm so curious to what the lore is gonna be. Ppl should learn to never put a certain expectation on anything. It's gonna still be an amazing game either way. Already has been.
I might sound a little insane but what if the final boss thing is just a way for FS to figure out who did the leak in case it happens? Like the just put some bad model there to make sure the leaker puts emphasis on that, and different reviewers have different models, and now FS knows eho exactly did the leak?

I don't want to believe the leak but even if it is real a prime radhan fight sounds pretty dope to me and im pretty sure miazaky will nail it and it whould be a UNIQUE FIGHT not a reused asset and remember killing radhan in the main game is one of the requirements to access the dlc (idea first phase general radhan second phase st trina thirt phase miquola the unalloyed)

The general consensus is that the leak of the final boss is fake. You can see for a split second that it's literally just Godfrey's phase transition, hence why the leaker skips it, and the boss reuses the Twin Princes, Friede's and Maliketh's moves and some odd bloodflame incantation. It uses the Limgrave skybox and Miyazaki said that no base game character would appear in the DLC.
I'm certain some things were real, but no way that the final boss is.
Miyazaki said that no base game NPCs that you interact with would appear in the DLC, he never mentioned anything about base game bosses

Some extra info about the LEAK fight. Its a secret boss fight, not the actual final fight. Very much like Malenia. It only happens through certain choices with Miquella's questline

I’m underwhelmed at this DLC, gameplay wise 10/10 but lore wise not only because this is the only one but the fact that they could’ve touched base on characters like Godfrey, Godwyn, Ranni, and Rykard… Which leads me to believe and want another DLC that take place in the past… We could’ve fought Godwyn riding Fortissax, Rykard before the blasphemy learned spells from him, seen Ranni’s teacher and learn spell’s from her as well as Ranni and see what Ranni looked like before the night of the black knives, And help Godfrey beat bosses… idk just seems like wasted potential

No the only unfinished boss was the very last and final boss and it was only his textures/model/cutscene that was unfinished which is VERY easy to replace
Fromsoft is known to make the most insane last boss fights in DLCs. Orphan, Gael etc. Because I saw the videos, they are 100% fake. Even the Mesmer one looks weird af, the way the fight seems to work in the video. But as for the final fights, there is no way those are the final fights.
UPDATE: About the said leaks, sadly I think they are real after some more investigation I did. But in no way they'll be in the quality I saw in the videos. Furthermore the amount of REMEMBRANCE bosses have been leaked and it's more than 10 and that's crazy, also the leaker gave some description of some of the bosses and trust me we'll be eating real good. All I have to say regarding the leaks is, don't get yourself disappointed before you experience the game yourself.

There are very good modders for FS games. One example is Garden of Eyes. That guy created an alternate ending cinematics with near perfect graphics and VA of Elden ring. And they posted that fake ending video on the day of release of base game.
Also the DLC leaker from reddit is new account and he seems to run another alternate account defending the leaks claim lol.

@@ljallen1670 They even showed the icons of the Remembrances and a new boss fight and tbh they look real, especially the boss fight. They showed 9 icons 1 being the dancing lion, the other Mesmer and the others I won't spoil. The leaker himself said they are more and they haven't finished the game yet. They talk around 12 Remembrances total which is a great amount of MAIN bosses. It's insane. We'll have to wait and see.

It's not so much the boss itself, but the animations, they seem very unpolished and weird, the way the boss is moving etc. The thing is, it's very hard for it to be a mod, because in the video we see assets and things the modder couldn't have known to make the mod in the first place. I can't go into more detail because I would be spoiling. But yeah that's the reason why I think this is not a mod and it's real. We still have no context or background of the fight so idk. But way too many weird and disappointing things are going on with this fight and I do hope and cope that this is not the final fight or at least if it is, that it will be polished out in all aspects.
Even if all of this is true I look forward to destroying them and taking their power. Miquella is now my enemy.

Just saw the leaks. The messemer fight is absolutely 100% real. What solidifies that for me is because the player character is wearing the lion dancers head, which some people who got early access to SOTET said you get after killing it. The final boss on the other hand I really don’t think is legit. It just doesn’t make sense to reuse a boss from the main game as a final boss or any boss in their biggest dlc to date. I could understand if M****** used the boss in question as a spirit summon or similar, kind of how Renalla summons dragons and giants in her boss fight.

@MartinZekar Everything else we've seen looks 100% legit, and there's a screenshot of all the remembrances that includes remebrances droped from the bosses that we're killed, including Messmer and the final boss. I think it's all real.

Personally, I'm fine with it as long as there's a good lore explanation, and the fight has a good, unique, move set. The latter at at least seems true, so I'll wait until the DLC is out to pass judgement.
Leaks are too high effort to be fake, and while the "final" boss looks janky, it's almost certainly just not finished. The leaker probably only has access to an older build. It's certainly possible for FS to make a shitty/disappointing dlc boss (half-light, gank squad, living failures), but this fight contains characters that are WAY too important, and clearly already has WAY too much work put into it to be left like this (cutscene, some of the unique attacks, etc.). This can go one of two ways:
1) It'll be patched before release, and even if the character is one we've fought before, it'll still have enough polish to be satisfying. This isn't unheard of, Malenia's waterfowl dance in the 1.0 version had janky/ugly animations, and even if the move is mechanically frustrating, it still LOOKS great as of release + day one patch. Considering the quality of all the OTHER bosses we've seen, it would be an extremely odd and out of character contrast for the fight to release as is... However...
2) This is how it'll release, and it'll be suicide from FS. It'll be a stain on their record that'll be hard to ignore, and it'd be baffling for it to release in this state considering they didn't seem to be under any pressure to release. Outside looking in, they seem to have had all the time they needed, so it'd be a really awful look if it's like this.
I'm, like, 99% certain it's option 1. I'll be disappointed if it is 2, but... It just makes no sense.
Like, FS has eyes, they can see the contrast between, for instance, Messmer and this boss. Based on everything I know about them as a studio, I don't think they'd just release it like that. This isn't DS1, they have the clout and resources to take their time and polish this to a mirror sheen, so I think it'll be okay.
TL;DR: This one boss is unfinished, but it's astronomically unlikely to release as is. Leaker probably just has an old build.

Leaker certainly seems antagonistic towards FS, like he wants them to fail, so while I believe the actual footage, his own opinions are less credible.
You can slap a modded boss (in this case, Radahn) among the legit ones (in this case, Messmer and the dragon) and call it a leak.
Miyazaki already said in his interview with a Chinese publication a couple months back that no character in the base game that the player interacted with will appear in the DLC because of the possible development complications.
The Messmer and the Dragon boss fights might be real, but the Radahn one is fake AF.

but why would the final boss be what it is? especially if the dlc doesn't bring us back in time, or at least I thought it didn't. I was under the impression we'd be in present day. Why would you know who be the consort of you know who, but the first you know who is somehow brought back from the dead and is younger. remember we have to kill the first you know who to even access the dlc.

The final Boss is Prime Radahn without his Horse and apparently has a 2nd Phase where miquella gets on his back (wich is literally what I thought the final Boss to be but with godwyn instead of radahn) The "video" of the Boss fight is only 4 seconds and shitty quality the Screenshots are high quality tho so I am gonna call it specualtion for now.
Also the leaker said: After fighting one of the previous two bosses (One probably being miquella alone if I had to guess, the other Idk) wich already indicates two different options to get to this point but thats could also be misunderstanding, but After deafeating one of them AND than NOT Helping Miquella Results in him summoning Radahn and this being the secret last Boss. As always, take all leaks (besides the gameplay videos) with a Grain of Salt, a lot gets mixed up with Translations and excitment
The leaker also said that in this fight you won't be able to summon (ofc miquella is the only reason why we can summon in the first place so it makes a lot of sense)

Messmer looked the most legit (even though his moveset is also pretty reused from Black Knife assasins and a few other agile bosses) But the final boss is 100% not legit. Fromsoftware tweeting about leaks doesnt necessarily prove the leaks were real either, and Vaati turning off his comment section might be to also not spread missinformation AND information gotten from reviewers like Iron Pineapple. Radahn simply looks unfinished. IDM a Radahn boss in the DLC, it would explain why he and Malenia fought, but the FINAl boss, and looking this bad? Nah

Saw the leaks and.....out of the three videos I've seen, 2 looked legit. The one with wings(to prevent spoilers) looked pretty real, but the other boss fight was either incomplete or super ass fanmade.

Just watched Radahn and Miquella's boss fight and wow......Radahn is a big ass fucking fanboy indeed. Miquella hugging behind him is like Serosh behind Godfrey with the wild long hair, but instead of being bitten, he's being hugged. 😂

@@castaway7171 first part of the comment was me seeing 4 seconds of the Radahn fight, so it looked kinda bad alongside the bad quality of the video. Eventually found the 2 minute fight and I find it much much better, still needs help with the texturing though. Nothing a day 1 patch couldn't fixm

I refuse to believe Godwyn isn’t a part of the dlc. Too many hints in the main game about Miquella wanting to revive him using an eclipse. The final fight would make perfect sense if it was Godwyn instead of Radahn.
Godwyn and Miquella are the only demigods that we don’t get to fight in the main game so why would they reuse Radahn as the final boss who has no connections to Miquella. It makes no sense from a lore perspective and even less sense from a creative perspective. Fans want something fresh and exciting, especially for the final boss.
Hopefully this is either completely fake or somehow a placeholder for the real final boss to prevent it from being leaked.

Idk man, I’ve seen the leaks and the Messmer fight is definitely real, but the ‘final fight’ looks pretty jank and just like a reskinned Godfrey with he who shall not be named’ moves. But I also heard something about Miyazaki confirming that there wouldn’t be any reused bosses from the base game in dlc 🤔🤔
i even said the "final" boss looks unfinished and like a place holder multiple times, but the leak of the last fight came with the full messmer fight leak which is 100% legit, elden ring just tweeted about leaks and vaatividya turned off his newest videos comments because of them too.
@@syrobewell we do need to defeat the final boss to access the dlc. So it would make sense the final boss to be in the shadow realm. It’s just a theory but it makes some sense.

Personally I'm excited. How many DLC bosses cause such controversy before they're even released? Very interested to see what people think about all of this, especially the final boss, once we have our hands on the DLC.
I think I fully agree with what you are saying. The leaker clearly have access to demo and game files. Everything else seems really legit so they might have speed run’d to the other two within the time limit. As for the final boss I am so heavily tilted to it being a pieced up mod
A lot of things simply are weird. Aside from what others said, the skybox is limgrave without even removing the erdtree aura in the back. The boss’s armor looks very different from their main game counterpart. Plus no voice whatsoever. The trailer gate, which should be blood red, is completely grey with nothing else.
Ya'll talking about the final boss being garbage, I think it's absolutely fire. Great lore conclusion, sick design. The footage we watched is probably not final. Just waiting for all the haters to get absolutely slapped by them 🤣

Elden Ring's official twitter made a post warning players about spoilers right after this. The leaks are 100% real.
If these leaks are true, then Fromsoftware really dropped the ball with that final boss cause that looked like complete garbage.

@@ausi6758 I'd honestly rather they scrap the boss and delay the DLC completely until they actually give us a boss that is worth it and not some low effort pile of trash that looks like a modded boss.
The sheer amount of reused assets are rough. Even the messemer fight has at least half of the animations reused with the tree spirit and many of the melee. The boss room and the only attack shown in the trailer wasn't there. The pontiff animations too. None of the shown weapon types or any of the shown weapons are there. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty convinced this is a mod. Either way, I am hyped to play.

Also if u look at the rememberances leak u can clearly see there is one rememberance that actually fit with Godwyn face.
