With respect to Bhagwan Ram asking Devi Sita to enter in fire there is a story told by elders that Bhagwan Ram when living in forest given Devi Sita to Agni Dev and took duplicate one from Agni as he was knowing what is going to get happen in future. This is one of the reason why Bhagwan Ram asked Devi Sita to enter agni.

Concocted story. We did not have caste system before britishers came to India. We had Varna system. If you look at our ancient seers and gods they never had surnames. They had multiple names/adjectives to refer to them.
