- Today we're putting the Rebel 1100 version 2.0 to the test on its first ride since all the upgrades, and you really can't ask for a much better day of riding! Toppy (@Atopper), Amir, and I did over 130 miles leaving from Annapolis, heading to Wee Bean Coffee Roasters in La Plata, and finally making our way to Jug Bay Natural Area in Upper Marlboro.
Every time I ride the Rebel 1100 I fall more in love with it, and every time I adventure further into Maryland I fall more and more in love with where I live! Leave a comment and let me know where you want to see me ride to next!

Burch!!! I am so happy that my children are young adults on their own, because I can’t seem to stop purchasing accessories for my new CMX 1100 DCT! 🤣 Excellent video, thank you! 👍🏾🏍️💨
Hahah these things can definitely turn into money pits veeery quickly! (In the best way possible 😂🤘🏻)
Just wanted to say thank you for putting out these videos. I love the bike and wish I could get one of my own one day. Until then I'm living vicariously through you lol
So nice seeing people from my home state making cool content, keep it up man
Such a chill and fun ride. Awesome motovlog bro! 🔥🔥
One day I'm find find a way to get you and Nina up here and ride in the Adirondack mountains, little hike and to the top of a fire tower. Amazing views
Beautiful scenery! Good job, my dude.
The Rebel looks awesome! Ride safe brother. Be well.
I need friends that ride 😢.
I live in a crazy crowded area on the west coast, I offer to teach every friend I have and they all respond with “I don’t want to die”
That’s when you all get XR150L’s or Monkeys and do some off-roading! 😬🤘🏻
I only found your channel recently but I've been binging all your stuff. You inspired me to start recording my rides for RUclips too. Keep it up!
I always look forward to your videos. Had it on in the background while putting tank pads on. I definitely enjoy the look of V2
Hell yea, thanks man!! Multitasking at its finest! 😂🙌🏻
This was both relaxing and hilarious😂
Exactly the vibe I was going for! 😂🤘🏻🧡

Currently working towards becoming a social studies teacher, working right now on my Bachelors in History and so this will definitely be a place to visit. I am also currently saving up to take a motorcycle course to get my license down here in Texas. Can't wait to see all the places like this on a bike of my own. Grew up on the back of my Grandpas Harley and every summer going up to Nebraska to take part in the Yellow Ribbon Run for veterans. Hopefully soon me and my grandfather can ride together. Main goal for getting myself a license and bike.
@treynichols395 Ive ridden before on a couple mopeds over the years but it has been a hot minute since I've been on anything. Thanks for the advice and I might look into that to see my options
The city should have a website where you can submit issues with the roads and signs. Its best to put in a ticket/email so they are aware of the issue.
9:30 haha, contagious laughter man.
That "nervous cheated death" laughter sounds like a dorky laugh but that shits all too real! You can either nervous laugh and rejoice and hoot n holler like a madman OR you can be nervous about riding, hesitate and make mistakes.
TL;DR Dorky laughter is the best laughter to hear on a motorcycle.
You just need to get a cheap pay-as-you-go phone to use on the bike. That way if it gets damaged, there's no big loss.
As for that stop sign: A) excellent brakes!!!, and B) call the local DMV to report it. You've got a great pic to show them why it's dangerous and needs to be cleared. They'll take care of it - hopefully before someone gets t-boned at that intersection.
Awesome! A ride with buddies. I am waiting on the new Burch & Nina Adventures since she got her liscense.👍😁
love the video
This is what it’s all about!
Thanks!
Thanks so much James!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
We have a John Wilkes Booth slept here sign in Bel Alton.
This looks like it was such a fun ride. Between your content and so many others... my fiancé and I are gonna go straight to team 1100 for our first bikes. Can't wait to see your rebel tearing it up and getting even better. Be safe, have fun, and most importantly... make it home alive. Can't wait for more Burch
I really like mine. Even stock they are pretty good bikes that are fine for beginners but also have enough to them to satisfy a seasoned rider. Other than 2-up...ugh. They are so not made for it.
@@MrSkully93 what are your thoughts on the stock seat?
@@TJ-qo2xu It was fine for short trips, but for longer...not so much. I got the mustang seat from another owner, and it's a bit better. I am also getting one of the Alaska Leather sheepskin to add to the comfort. Even the 'upgraded' passenger seat is a joke, and my wife has stated it's good for about 20 min.
I previously had the CTX700, which had a long and comfy seat (and forward controls, fairing, blah blah). It was really comfy, if underpowered for a nearly 600lb bike.
@MrSkully93 good to know. Thank you for the input. My fiancé and I already plan to upgrade our seats to the Mustang at the least. Once we both get our licenses, getting the 1100 is a no-brainer. Another no-brainer is replacing that stock seat asap. You'll have to let me know how that Alaska seat works out once you get it.
@@TJ-qo2xu nice! I really do like my Rebel. I have the DCT version, which causes some people to lose their minds. I think the 500 is equally nice depending on your needs. A friend does have the 300, which I find to be too little bike. He just wanted something to customize like mad, and they are very reasonable used.
I'll try to remember to pop back in and reply. Mostly selected the Alasa Leather topper for temp control. Cooler in Summer, Warmer in cold weather. I try to ride year round when I can, and we live in Colorado. That being said...sometimes ride less from say Dec-March.
I'll get heated grips this year and then add the mirrors/handgaurds the Birch has put on. I can always take the guards off for the really hot months.
I like the highway pegs
Nice
Yep, driving 65mph on a 40mph speed limit road, not very smart, I still remember the meet up last year, not enjoyable since the front driving like crazy! Well be carefull out there!
I rode down to Point Lookout yesterday. I'll be boating down to Solomon's to catch a ray for the new handle I am making for my sword. Wee Bean is 15 minutes from my house.
Hell yea that’s awesome! That sword sounds like it’s gonna be insane 😳⚔️
37" 3 1/2lb blade. When I was younger I could cleave a 3" tree no problem. I took it apart to fuller the blade and add a pommel and guard.
Can u do a video talking about the new parts ? Looks sick
5:47 How fine the nurse was, meanwhile she was probably staring at y'all to only count the number of potential patients in her worst-case scenario mind.
Oop- that might be a right answer 😅 :P
LOL that generation, oooh, my phone is overheating, I gotta cool it down.
GIT IT!
Yessirrr!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Maryland looks absolutely beautiful. I’ve only been to Rochester and New Jersey in that area , might have to visit Maryland ..
Question I have a rebel 500 and was wondering what is the speeds to gear do you do or prefer
Totally discussing the new Barbie movie😂
Wait…how’d you know?! 😳😅😂
Did Amir ever fix his dented fuel tank from the tip over at the October meet-up? 🤔 --QM
Funny story…before we got a chance to put the new tank on, someone hit his bike in a parking garage and knocked it over. Messed it up reeaaal good and dented the tank on both sides, so thank God we hadn’t fixed it yet. Fortunately the person left their contact info so his bike is actually in the shop getting fixed on their insurance’s dime as we speak!
Since he already had the tank I would have taken the insurance money and fixed it myself and pocketed the change. I remember my old van got rear ended and it bent the stock bumper enough to put a pea sized chip in the paint. I got a classV tow bumper and a bottle of touch up paint with about $1,000 to spare. Wee Bean is about 15 minutes from my house. Good stuff he was working out of a trailer for years before he got the store. My Daughter and Wife are on first name basis. I rode down to Point Lookout yesterday.
Can you send a link to the saddle bags? I think my wife would love them for her 2023 rebel 1100 dct
So where can I find a list of all the modifications you've made to your bike? Thanks
Amir was still talking about the woman from the gas station and you were telling him how he should have made his move.
My radiator fan blast hot air at me very quickly during even short riding session. I’ve tried to look up solutions but can’t seem to find any. Is this just a rebel thing, or do you know a way to combat this issue?
So how is the new seat and is it worth it?
what seat u put on it ? it looks sick ..
Are you posting links for new upgrades to 1100 Seat?
Burch, what highway pegs do you have?
What highway pegs did you put on the bike?
What's the seat you have on there? I've been riding a new 1100T and my butt is killing me!
How comfortable is the 1100 on longer trips?
Maybe I missed it, but what bikes do Toppy and Amir have?
test the Chigee AIO-5 Lite a game changer
Where did you buy that seat?
🐸
Talking about Jake Paul and Nate Dias fight
How’s the twitchy throttle?
My Power Commander 6 did away with that for the most part. Still a bit twitchy at times down low, but it’s just the nature of the beast with the responsiveness of throttle-by-wire. But yea, the PC6 is a godsend for fixing that. I can leave the bike in my high performance user mode 24/7 now and it’s still smoother than when I used to have to switch to rain mode or standard mode around town pre-PC6. I have a video about it last year sometime around maybe September/October if you wanna see the install, first impressions, and more explanation.
Buuurrrcccch
Yooo my guy!!
For your phone buy a white case.
You were discussing quantum physics.

Great video! It had everything...scenery, danger, coffee. The only thing it was missing was beautiful women and explosions. Maybe you should bring Nina next time...
And blow her up! 🤣 {Two birds...one stone! }
AY YO?!? 😳
😂😂😂
Shouldn't add music while riding......😞
Who else thinks the Bobber looks better?
Use the gift card to buy a bottle of wine.
You might need to move to Toyota Yamaha for reliability because Honda has fallen off and you know that
Toyota?? +
Hey Burch. If you would/ could put an actual backrest on it, that would be a game changer for you. I have one on my 2023 rebel 1100dct and my 2021 Honda goldwing DCT. They are amazing. Make the ride feel much more comfortable and safer.
Thanks for the suggestion! I don’t think a backrest fits my riding style right now, but if/when I get a true touring bike like a Goldwing I’d definitely try it out! I feel like a Goldwing with a backrest would be a road sofa 🏍️🛋️😂
