That is the Solomon’s island bridge you may be mentioning. Can’t get too distracted on that bridge or else your shutting down traffic between Calvert and St.Mary’s. You can see the PAX river naval air stations main runway from the bridge

I just purchased the 2023 Rebel 1100t. I know you weren’t a fan of the T-Bagger, but I thought it had the best looking fairing as compared to the after market and I liked the hard bags. The decision to go with the Rebel was mostly the value and how much bike you get for the money as compared to the competitors, but your videos and some of the upgrades you’ve done also influenced me. Thanks for the great content. Keep up the good work.

The waves, that are far from the shore, are big because the bottom of the sea raises suddenly. This creates the waves you were wondering. And yes, i ordered on tuesday my Honda Rebel 1100T. It takes 2-3 months to get it.
I’ve crossed that bridge on my 1996 Triumph Trophy 1200. It’s a beast of a bike, and I still got pushed all over the place.. The 301 bridge is a nightmare in concrete and steel.

Matt rides a nice Beemer k100. I have the exact same K100 RS, except mine is with the full tour kit. They are really sweet for 36 year old bikes. It is also in general a fun video again! i am jealous that you have the balls to ride in the late winters!
Yea, K100, that’s what it is! I couldn’t remember. Super cool bike. If I’m remembering correctly the chassis has 120k miles and motor has 80k miles. Or something wild like that! And even though it’s late winter, we were blessed with a random 75 degree day for this ride! I definitely would not have done this trip if it were normal winter temps haha just 2 days after this, it dropped to 30 and snowed 😅

That's a nice tank bag. Their saddle bags are dope af and they're apparently the company that designed the rebel saddlebag mounts and bags so if you have the original mounts, those babies drop right on after being put together. I got their 10 on my right side right now and they're sick. Waterproof too. Gonna splurge the money for the bigger bags soon.
That yellow sports car is a Pantera made in Italy and sold in ford dealers in the 70's. It has a Ford v8 engine. It was not sold very long, and i sat in one back then but it was way too expensive for me. Very nice and collectible today.

It’s the Pro Mount with vibration dampener and 10mm spacer. The spacer is the game changer cause it lets you mount it that close and have the phone high enough to clear the gauges. QuadLock recently posted a video on their Instagram of what my setup looks like actually!
The mesh pouch on the top is designed to hold anything that could be affected by the magnets! I keep my wallet in my pocket still so that wouldn’t be an issue for me, but still a nice feature to have!

@@LifeOfBurch I had to Google it when you said St. Mary’s in 1634. I grew up in Queen Anne’s and there are signs that say “First Settlement in Maryland 1631”. Seems it was a clerical thing. Fort Kent was founded first but Lord Calvert died and then his son filed for St Mary’s to be the first settlement. On Paper.
I had the Shorty GP on my 500. I started with that same exact Shorty GP on the 1100, then switched to the Two Brothers Racing exhaust which is what’s on here now. But in the next few weeks I’m switching to a Coffman’s Thunder so I can fit bigger saddlebags. (But nobody knows that last part yet so shhh 🤫😂)

@@Justin-tp3lr since you’ll have the 1100T’s hard bags, honestly I think the new Vance & Hines that I did a video on is the ONLY option that will work and look good. Any other option either won’t work due to the upsweep design or will make it super obvious that the bags aren’t symmetrical since something like the Shorty GP or Thunder won’t fill up the space under the right bag like the V&H does. Just my 2 cents.
I’d rather use the kill switch every time and have the muscle memory for if/when it’s ever actually needed in an emergency. It’s just a preference thing. I’ve used the kill switch every time on every bike I’ve owned in 8+ years of riding 🤷🏼♂️

Have you been across the New River gorge bridge in West Virginia? 800 feet above the river. THAT bothers me. They bungee jump and parachute off of that danged thing. Thanks man! Motors got like 50k and about 130k on the rest. Odometer is broken and stuck at like 104, not sure how much I've put on since I bought it. It actually broke down after this ride, but ran great for 99% of it 😅 hopefully it's just some loose electronics, I haven't taken time to diagnose yet. Thanks for the love!

The 301 Bridge that you are talking about is "gone". They just built a new 4 lane one that is far more reasonable to drive/ride over.

The fuel pump will displace approximately 0.3 gallons. You should only have a usable 3.2 gallons. You ran that thing bone dry.

My Honda dealer told me to always use the key to shutdown the motor and not the emergency kill switch.
I’d rather use the kill switch every time and have the muscle memory for if/when it’s ever actually needed in an emergency. It’s just a preference thing. I’ve used the kill switch every time on every bike I’ve owned in 8+ years of riding 🤷🏼♂️

I'm a new rider on a DCT and half of the time I use the kickstand.
My best is 206 miles to a tank and didn’t run it dry. Maybe could of got another ten miles.

His IG is macksheltonart, but he doesn’t really post the bike much. It’s badass though! If I’m remembering correctly it’s a late-80’s K100 with like 120k on the chassis and 80k on the motor or something wild!
Thanks man! Motors got like 50k and about 130k on the rest. Odometer is broken and stuck at like 104, not sure how much I've put on since I bought it. It actually broke down after this ride, but ran great for 99% of it 😅 hopefully it's just some loose electronics, I haven't taken time to diagnose yet. Thanks for the love!
