Just fixed dripping tub faucet earlier thanks to this! Needed new spring and seat. Thank you!

Wear it with pride, my friend. You just saved yourself a pricey plumbing service call.

That's a great video but I've got the Delta Flynn bathroom faucet and the there are no hex screws or slotted screws holding the handle on. HELP!

Thanks for your video. Can you share names of two tools used here to remove the handle and the other to adjust the seed and coil. Do they have specific size required for this job.

Great information. But like others, my problem is a little different. I have a Delta KITCHEN faucet with two handles. No idea if it has cartridges (I can hear y'all laughing), but it definitely doesn't have a set screw. It's leaking around the base and the hot water handle for sure. I'm a novice, so I need to have a decent idea of what to do before I jump into this. HELP! We need a video ASAP!

You make it look so easy getting the seat back in. I cannot get it (if it is supposed to be depressed down into where the spring is)

The spring goes in first, then set the rubber seal on top of that, so that the seal rides against the handle/ball. Best of luck with your repair!

Thanks for the reply but does the seat recess down into where the spring is (so it looks the same as when I took the old one out)@@Teach2Build

No Allen set screws on mine. ?

If there's not allen (or slotted) screw on the side of the handle, then there's a screw on the top of the handle, usually under a cap that just pops off for access. The cartridges have a flat (for the set screw) and a threaded top so can be used in faucets with either type of handle.

@@MrPDGee I appreciate your response, but there is no top/center fastener. The way in which the handle is removed is by turning the whole bottom portion (bezel) of the handle assembly, which is threaded on to the cartridge. This lifts the handle off the cartridge shaft. I couldn't get mine to budge due to hard water deposits. Regards

I have a Delta 2 Handle faucet with no little set screw. I have checked thoroughly. It looks a lot like the faucet in your video except the 'tower" base of the faucet is stationary and there's a seam at the top where the handles move. I am perplexed! Any ideas? I'm leery of applying force until I understand. 😀

Sometimes, there's a cap that'll expose a screw. There are also models that you hold the handle stationary while unscrewing the escutcheon (trim ring) underneath it. Don't give up, you've got this!

@@Teach2Build. It turns out the whole valve handle is like a bonnet that simply unscrews ! I bought a “rubber wrench” to avoid scratching the finish. After that, the whole job is the same. Of course, both shutoff valves had to be replaced first!😂. So, I didn’t have to leave the whole house water off while I matched the new Delta parts at the hw store. Thanks for your guidance!!

Oooo. That's a good question. I might start by calling Delta customer service. They're great.
