@@LadyMaryBeth hope you all are safe....really wondering why and how that happened ...and I was annoyed we were in the 80s already a couple days lol....stay warm and safe folks ...best wishes 🌷🌷🌷😎
@@MyTakeOnHomeGarden Could have used a bit of Florida sun. ☀️ More coming out about poor leadership and lack of planning with our power grid. Hope to thaw out by the weekend. Thanks for your message! 😘
I am always amazed when you pick up complete sets of china! You must have some incredible storage space! I see so many I'd love to own but can't fathom where I'd keep them.
Imagine getting a Waterford Christmas ornament for only $3.00! I can't remember the last time I saw a new one, but they were well over $50. My mother had the cake plate that was in the front of the ones on the shelf. 2:37 It's in my cabinet now. At one time it had a silver handle that secured over the left and right sides, by clipping onto each side. Thanks for taking us along, Lady Mary Beth.
My mother had that cake plate, too. Brings back wonderful memories of her yellow cake with chocolate frosting. It was always waiting for me after overseas trips and college years in Germany. Glad you have her cake plate! ❤️
@@vjhreeves Yes, those handles are terrific, especially for that particular cake place. I only wish I knew what happened to the handles that my mother had. I have the plate, but no handles!
I love your options for resale stores in the Dallas area! The items are so nice with great prices....you would probably find me in there all the time! 🤗 Thank you Lady Mary Beth! Terianne
No idea, but you could call St. Christopher’s and inquire. It was in the glass case opposite the register towards the book side. I was there again early April and they still had it.
How do you learn the fair value prices of all the different kinds of dishes and glassware? What kind of reference materials would you recommend? Thank you, have a good day, from Oregon.
Searching eBay is an easy way to find the market rate. I ordered a few Depression and Elegant Glass reference books from Goodwill books online. These were affordable and comprehensive with values.
I am new to your videos but you inspired me to check out the 4 local thrift stores in my area. An abundance of junk filled the first store. At the second store, garbage was for sale. The third store offered a variety of trash. The final store was full of cr*p but lo and behold 2 pieces of crystal set almost hidden in the middle of a pile of resin made in china chipped figurines. Curious, I checked the tags on these two unmarked, nondescript pieces. The prices were as high as if I were in an upscale antique store. All thrift stores are not created equal, but I'm not inspired anymore.
Bummer. Was hoping you had found Waterford in the junk pile. I would suggest a charity resale or consignment store. Remember that you can shop fine table essentials and gifts from home at shopgoodwill. Seriously! I just unpacked a pair of Waterford Millennium flutes, exquisite Waterford rose bowl, and Marquis by Waterford Sparkle Vase. All for $34!!!
Be sure to check for the 3 mould marks on the Fostoria American. No mould mark, not Fostoria American. A lot of dealers and sellers don’t know how to tell the real deal for American.
No, I have lots of vintage punch bowls. Probably should have bought it for smaller gatherings. It’s was gone when I went back the next day. Someone got a deal!!! 😀❤️
Thanks for sharing, lots of very nice items ❤😊 Have a great day ❤😊
My aunt gave her lane cedar chest. It was exactly like the one you showed cased. I have gifted it to my grandson.
There it is again. I watched you the second video. Maybe I should look at more pretty clothes too. This is a great way to help others and me too!
Great shopping so many nice things
Thank you! 🤗
Love going with you shopping for wonderful bargains.makes a cold winter day in Ohio warm and happy 😊
Thanks for coming along! 🥰
This store is really neat and clean and well kept.....thank you for the trip !🌷🌷🌷😎
How is everything in Florida? We need your sunny days in Texas. ☀️ Have been off the grid several days with Snowmageddon in Texas. 🥶❄️

It’s so tempting! A friend has gifted me with several sets. It’s hard to say no.

I appreciate you coming along for thrifting!
💜I have been collecting the Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne pattern, love it💜
Love the blue and white! Have seen lots of this pattern lately at two different charity resales.
Arm in arm,I daydream of shopping with you!
Arm in arm🥰😊
I always think this to be one of the cleanest resale shops.
Good observation! It really is clean and well organized. They have some hidden gems in those glass cases. 💎
Thank you for all the kind words. We are so glad you had fun in our shop. We look forward to serving you again 🙂
Will definitely pop in again soon. So enjoyed your shop! 💚💚💚

I love those clip-on handles! Occasionally you can find one in a thrift store. Most people don't know what they are.

Always happy to be in Dallas. Get to visit the college kid and my favorite resale shops. Take care and enjoy thrifting! 😀🛍
Another great thrift stop! Thank you for sharing. Will be sure to get the punch card!
I need to go back and use my punch card. It’s already full. Thanks for the view! 😚😘

do you think they still have the hummel tea set? Been loving your videos and all your knowledge. I find the research part of the fund!

Great tip. Thanks! 👍🏻
I hope you bought the Limoges.
Did not get the Limoges cups, but thinking about it. Might head back when they open on Tuesday. So tempting, but storage is always an issue. 😗
