The cup & saucer is so beautiful, and it reminds me of some from his collection. Your little box with the Queen Elizabeth roses reminds me of the Queen's Centenary rose brooch (which had belonged to the Queen Mother). If you search for "Queen Elizabeth Centenary rose brooch", you will see what I mean. Belle Meade is a pretty name for a place, and it reminded me of some pieces of china that I have, in the Bellemeade pattern, by Minton (now discontinued). Congratulations on your Halcyon Days Enamel Box!! Made in the Black Country. Received as gifts when I lived in UK and my Mum always bought a box with her on her visits to US. Still collecting. They make great gifts especially with a handwritten note folded inside the box.

I visited Belle Meade, the actual home, in recent years. What do you think fascinated me most-the china collection closed off except for a few pieces displayed in the dining room. The home was so interesting!
