Nice small collection you got there. Well selected, I like it! Watch out sir or you may end with almost 300 models like me, without noticing it, hahhahah. This hobby has its dangers but we love it.

Thanks my friend. I don’t have any room left so this will probably be the max size of the fleet.😅 300 cars is insane! But I totally understand how you got there.😂🙌

@@t-studioworks Yes, I run almost all of them. I guess I must be quite thorough at cleaning them after each and every run😅.. Also helps that I have runner shells for more spirited running at the track.👌😁

What a lovely video to watch, a very nice collection, thanks for sharing! Oh, so many cars on my want-list, ha ha... Really well arranged hobby-room, a lot of effort gone into it. I have a dedicated room for my RC hobby, but it's probably still a year's work to get it sorted, but when I do, I think it'll be time for a collection video also...

What a great video Sean! 🙏
A stunning collection, and extremely well organised /displayed!
I've said it before, but I truly admire how you have managed to merge the world of shelf queen's and runners together.
I mean, I know that you run all of your cars..... unyet they all look mint as if they are purely shelf queen's.
Great to see them all raised to, it makes me cringe when I see cars displayed sitting on their tires! 😂
Also loving seeing all the boxes on display..... I do similar, the box art is a fundamental part of it for me!
I've often been tempted to do a video of my own collection, but just don't feel comfortable putting something of that value up on a public platform..... especially as my house/garden has regularly featured on some of our videos!
    Cheers for sharing fella. 😊 👍 👍

Thanks James! Glad you enjoyed it.😊 I would love to see your collection too but I can totally understand your reservations. Best to be safe than sorry. Yes, other than the Williams F1 and vintage Turbo Optima. They are all runners. I think it’s not difficult to keep them looking good. Having spare body shells will help a great deal too.😁

      Definitely mate.
I love the vintage Turbo Optima.... seems silly running it when you have the re re.
Did you restore the original one yourself?
Regarding the running..... I think it depends entirely on the surface that you run on!
The sand is fairly 'forgiving' luckily for you!!
I do have additional body shells for much of my fleet, but the tarmac carpark where we run is very harsh on the cars, as is the gravel carpark.... all the plastic parts get pitted from the flying gravel/stones.
That's why I have a small collection of dedicated runners, which I drive with no remorse!
The bulk of my 40 or so models are shelf queen's.... although most do get an occasional light run in the garden in the summer.
But I do get a lot of pleasure seeing the shelfers totally mint on display, especially the rare ones that I have restored.
So many sides to this great hobby my friend. 😊 👍 👍 👍

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC Oh yes, you are absolutely right. The beach where I do most of my running is a very forgiving environment indeed. I take extra precautions when racing on the dirt track cos there’s a much higher chance of damage. For on road, I do try to protect the chassis with tape and discarded polycarbonate pieces. I also try to avoid running near curbs. They are body killers..😅 I agree that there are so many ways to enjoy this hobby. For me, even the after run maintenance is therapeutic.😂 I wish I have more space to display the cars so I can enjoy seeing them more.

The dreaded curbs...... the yodas nemesis for real mate! 😂 😅 🤣
Great tips regarding the tape and polycarbonate there Sir.... I will remember that one.
And definitely, the post run cleaning and inspection is part of the fun..... on some cars more than others I would say-- but definitely a very rewarding process.
      Have a great weekend Sean.
