Thank you so much for this design and tutorial! I made a green and purple version and got a 4th place ribbon in the crocheted hat decision at my state fair this past summer! I am now making several more hats in this design in various colors for holiday presents :)
hi tkx for the hat videos i love your videos they are very easy to follow i like the tone of your voice and you speak clearly also tkx again have a great day ! :) xo
I’m not sure where to reach you or if you are still doing tutorials, i used this pattern yesterday to make a beanie but ended up increasing too much and instead of frogging it I continued until I had the desired length for a duffel bag, I don’t want to get into any sort of trouble but I also would like to make a pattern for the duffel bag. I’m not sure the right way to go about it though so I’m reaching out to you In hopes we can get it sorted.
I was able to find the schachemayr web ad site with the help of google. The yarn being used is: Composition: 100% Cotton Yarn weight: Sport 5 ply [fine 2] Yarn ball weight: 50g Yarn Meterage: 125m
I found the schachemayr website with the help of google. Here are the specifications for the yarn being used for this beanie. Composition: 100% Cotton Yarn weight: Sport 5 ply [fine 2] Yarn ball weight: 50g Yarn Meterage: 125m
you can do it all sizes. in Part two of this video you can see how to make it a smaller or bigger size ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=uiYYul8axcM (at about minute 4 : 35 of part two)
You have to mention what kind of yarn and the hook you used because by following your instructions but using different size of yarn and hook can cause a disaster.
Thanks for your comment. I always put that kind of Information in the infobox below the video. (I used Schachemayr Catania pink (0225) and cyclamen (0114) and I used a hook size 3mm).
It starts out with a flat spiral and then you need to stop increasing. In this video I show you when to stop increasing (at about minute 4:39): ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=uiYYul8axcM . when to stop increasing depends on the size you want to make.

Can this be made with a bigger yarn? I don’t have anything small like this on hand.
What's the weight of your yarn? That brand isn't available but knowing the weight I can buy any brand.
