I started to tear up when I got the notification for today’s class. This week has been really hard and I’m just grateful to be in community and hear what Dr. Carr and Prof Hunter have to say after the tragedies we’ve collectively experienced, to provide some context and hope for our path forward. ♥️ Also at a bare minimum we need to vote out every politician, regardless of party, who’s not down for actively pushing for reasonable gun regulation

Think about it......some people are "ashamed" to say they go to church and they up in church every weekend. They are participating because they are learning and benefiting from the whole thing. We must love them in spite of their shame and not take on their fear.

Thank you for remaining on RUclips, Prof. Hunter. it is as important for us to see how Dr. Carr applies our governance structure to theory, and is willing to listen and counter some "pop culture" conclusions of others that reflect how "integrated education" has hampered even some of our finest who have good intentions. By redirecting without shaming or blaming like some less brilliant educators might do, both of you make it easier and more natural to "correct" one's own vision. Yay-Boh! You are indeed "Scholar-Ninja Warriors"!

I sometimes have to listen to it twice (or more) to really get it sunk in my brain and soul. living in KS, and just down the street from Brown vs Board (in my youth) I get so frustrated; learning all the history I was cheated of. my spirit is exhausted and angered. some times I have to take a drive to soothe my spirit. but, I say thank you, thank you, thank you, a million times. 💕💕

Professor Karen, I stand with you as you assist in the evolution of humanity. There are so many areas in the Black soul that have been trained to obey and embrace Whiteness, starting with religion. So like Dr. Robin Smith was saying the other day we need to do something. How will we do that while so many Black people have made their money off the backs of tithes and offerings from Black people, I can't imagine those Black ministers educating their congregation higher, Black politicians who make their money off the backs of Black trauma and politicized Black trauma and last those Black police officers and Black security guards to admire White power and get to exercise it out on other Black people from behind a badge. Professor Karen maybe this is what is meant by separate the wheat from the chaff, not all Black people will be apart of the rapture that will free us all, that includes those teachers who are abusive to poor Black children because those children are the most vulnerably, so no teachers don't need a gun, especially those pedophiles' teachers who move among and prey upon poor children. Thank you Professor Karen, I so very much want to be on the rapture train when you Professor Karen and other like you sound the alarm, I stand with you Professor Karen.

Yet, with young, defenseless children in a school facing a demon armed with assault weapons, these 'cops' stayed outside and fought to prevent distraught parents from entering to find out the fate of their children. Why we ask, is it because these are children of color?
The cops were not scared to go in and unarm the yte Buffalo murderer of 10!! And, he lived to see another day I might add!!
We're hoping the voters in Texas and across this nation for that matter, are MAD as hell and come November, will be responding by voting out these yte supremacists who are parading as politicians and are more concerned with pandering to the NRA and other lobbyist groups!!

Catching up, yes, I did . My sabbath was full this week. As they do not celebrate Memorial Day on the island country of Bermuda, I have 2 brothers and a sister, uncle 3 cousins family , my dad W02 Alvin E. Cross killed in Vietnam 1971 who served in the USA military, so, I acknowledge the day with them.
Dr. Carr, having read Drake three years ago and now having to reread it with you has put a clearer overstanding of the duality of this story . The connection of then and now puts so much in perspective. Prof Hunter opening of knarrative /knubia/ office hours has made it possible to have T heSE conversations. Thank you for your foresight.
